- solaris_peteRichmond, Canada331 contributionsgood buffet and observation deck but horrible for the hotel gueststhis is one of the tallest tower in the area... the hotel is a bit dated and old. we did the buffet on 77th and that includes a visit to 84th observation deck. the elevator experience is a pain and i feel sorry for the people who stays at this hotel as they share the same busy elevator which goes to buffet floors and observation deck and have to wait since it's always fullVisited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 13, 2023

We parked our car on the 9th floor. We went to the 18th floor to pay for the two tickets. We went to the 79th floor for views of Bangkok. The views on 79th, 83th, and 84th floors were nice. We had lunch buffet at 1:15 PM. The salmon sashimi and the beef soup were delicious. The Thai Ice tea was good. The views on the 82th floor were amazing. The waitresses were helpful. The buffet cost 690 Baht per person.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 14, 2024
- flyingdoc1Emsworth, United Kingdom527 contributionsMagnificent Baiyoke Sky Tower in BangkokThe views over the City and Chao Phraya River are just exceptional. The revolving platform on the 84th Floor is mind blowing. Reasonable dining still near the top on the 82nd Floor. Definitely a must-do when in Bangkok.Visited December 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 29, 2024
- Neel Kamal BGuwahati, India107 contributionsBest view of BangkokBest place to observe the view of magnificent Bangkok. Try to get here around sunset. The revolving view deck just makes it easy to stand and enjoy the all round views of the city. Later on, you can come down and enjoy a drink at their bar (also with glass walls for views).Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 9, 2024
- Gareth WAberystwyth, United Kingdom4 contributions50/50 hotelIt’s ok a bit dated. The lifts took a while to get used to, 3 different sections depending where you want to go. Also I didn’t like the entrance, it was too small and with stairs difficult with a lot of luggage- no assistance and guests crowding the entrance. On the plus side the room was very big and a great view on two sides. We had the breakfast buffet which was varied. The location was quite good, just 30mins walk from Siam square though the market and shopping malls. Watch out for the taxi touts outside the hotel, they hide their taxi id and meter! Go to a main road for a taxi or use the sky train.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 2, 2024
- Elizabeth SVancouver, Canada52 contributionsDinner at the Baiyoke Sky Tower was a big t disappointmentWe booked the crystal buffet at this hotel. The view was of Bangkok from the 84th floor was great. However, I did not find the buffet exciting as advertised. Should you choose to visit the buffet in this establishment, I suggest you choose the 74th floor option which cost 940 baht as it is cheaper than the crystal package and probably provides more food options. Beside the disappointment of the offerings, I had a good evening. I actually had a band sing happy birthday to me.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 22, 2024

We chose the buffet dinner on the 78th floor, which entitles you to 2 hours of stay including a visit to the turntable for a top view of the city. For dinner the buffet with freshly prepared dishes is very varied and abundant. Water and alcohol for a fee, soft drinks included in the price.
The top view of Bangkok at night is superb!

In one day in Bangkok we managed to visit the observation deck on the 84th floor.
Immediately at the entrance on the 1st floor there is a ticket office, ticket for 1 person (and a child over 7 years old) 450 baht. The ticket includes a 20-minute massage and a drink (purple “butterfly tea”, not for everyone.. We didn’t find the promised bar cocktails like in the review videos, but to be honest, we didn’t really look for it. So, after purchasing the ticket, we immediately headed to the elevator to 77 floors. There is an observation deck, photo zones. Then take the elevator to the 83rd floor. There you can also look at the city, the windows are quite clean. On all floors the staff will help and tell you where to go next. A staircase with cosmic drawings and a Spider-Man figure on it leads to the 84th floor ceiling. You immediately find yourself on a rotating balcony, it's a delight! Views of Bangkok from a height of 307 meters and a 360-degree view. Time there passed unnoticed, while we admired the views and found famous buildings, an hour passed unnoticed, it was very sad to leave, but we were in a hurry to airport. In general, the time spent on the observation deck with a ticket is not limited. There are very few other visitors, 3 tourists from India were with us on the balcony and one man dreamily looked out the windows on the 83rd floor. I definitely recommend a visit.

Roof top on the 83rd floor, very beautiful in itself except that the large crowd of people and the queues ruin the atmosphere which is very noisy and stressful. Not the place to hang out and have a drink. There is an all you can eat formula for dining but I don't recommend it. Even in this case everything seems organized in a shoddy way.

This is a high quality older hotel. It is very clean and well maintained. Nice pool on the 20th floor but the water was cool and not heated. Even so, I did swim everyday. The hotel has excellent customer service in all areas. They provided bathrobes and slippers plus the usual toiletries. Room came with 2 bottles of water, coffee & tea -all complementary. The AC worked well as did the refrigerator. The shower was not very warm but the additional bath tub and sink both had hot water. American & European style electric plugs. Room had 2 overstuffed chairs and a king bed. The room had been modernized. Good location and only an 8 minute easy walk for the skytrain to the airport. The location in Little India was convenient but almost all restaurants within walking distance were Indian. Since I am not a fan of Indian food, this was a problem. The only good Thai restaurant was located next to the railroad track and served excellent food. I ate there 3 nights. There needs to be more diversity of restaurants for some variety and not 95% Indian. The is a very large Big C Supermarket 3 blocks away that I visited several times for supplementing my meals. There was a very large night market across the street.
The views from the 84th floor inside observation deck and the 86th outside rotating deck were breathtaking. This is the highest hotel in the world by number of floors which makes it special. A few other hotels claim to be higher by counting the height of high antennas but actually have fewer floors. The hotel should promote this fact.
The hotel is very well managed and guests are given free, unlimited access to the observation decks. I would definitely stay here again and very much enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very unique. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I would stay here again.

The Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok’s rooftop is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking to experience the city from a TRULY breathtaking perspective. This hotel has a rich history in Bangkok and this iconic hotel’s views are simply like no other. We started off by going up in the elevator to the bar, where we each had a delicious cocktail. I cannot speak to the food as we opted not to eat here as we had already had a late lunch.
The highlight for us was the revolving rooftop deck where you get a 360-degree view of the city. Watching the sunset across the Bangkok skyline was a treat. This is a memory from our Bangkok trip and something myself and my partner will not only treasure forever, but is something would highly recommend to everyone!

The views from the revolving sky deck were fantastic, especially at night. The buffet was more like an alcarte restaraunt with the different food stations preparing each meal individually as you liked and then bringing it to your table. The staff were very helpful and the price which included a free drink in the sky bar was excellent value.

The Rainbow Tower is a must-visit destination in Bangkok due to its iconic status and stunning city views. As the tallest building in Thailand, it offers unparalleled panoramic views. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Bangkok from the observation deck, which offers a 360-degree view of the city. In addition to the stunning views, Rainbow Tower also houses a variety of dining options, including a revolving restaurant that offers a unique gastronomic experience high above the city. Whether you are a tourist looking to capture the perfect moment or a food lover looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Rainbow Tower is a must-see attraction that guarantees an unforgettable time in Bangkok.
I really recommend you go before sunset because you get the most beautiful views.

Nice experience.
If you want to admire the skyline of Bangkok, this is definitely a must. The ticket (Novem 2022 = 400THB/pers) also includes the consumption of a drink.
Choose your visiting time one hour before sunset. This way you can enjoy Bangkok in daylight, and after consuming your drink, you can admire Bangkok by night. Two completely different experiences.

The view was beautiful, the service was excellent but the food was average. The buffet was certainly abundant and the price was quite reasonable considering all that was offered. I was disappointed by how faded and tired the surroundings looked. We got there for the five o’clock seating so we saw everything in broad daylight. At night it probably looks better. We had the outdoor balcony buffet which meant that we had a plated set as well as access to the buffet. This food was not that great even though the service was very attentive. I know they need quick turnover but they were grabbing our plates too quickly. I was hoping for something more elegant because it was a special occasion meal. I should have done my research and spent more money to go to a place that caters to diners and not tourists. If you are a twenty something and want to fill up on devouring a whole tray of sushi as the two young men ahead of us in the buffet line did, this is the place for you. It is a real bargain but I was looking for ambiance.

Is it poasible to use just the stairs for fitness training? Plan to run up and down and wonder if that is allowed and what is the fee, if any. Thanks!

Can I re enter on the same ticket on the same day ? Or once I leave for example to go to the buffet can I go back to the sky bar again on the same ticket ?

We visited the Sky Bar prior to going to the buffet. Not sure if you are allowed back to the Sky Bar after. Suggest you visit their website for up to date information.

Actually not that straightforward to get to. We walked from the centre and it took us a while.
Would probably be best getting a tuktuk. Ticketing arrangements slightly complex as the other reviewers have mentioned.

Consiglierei fuori. Saluti

If you go at night the reflection from the glass is so bad you cannot really see anything unless you get right up to the glass.
There are much better places to go
