We were lucky to visit in 2022.

Look for the Concorde building, next to the main lobby of Swissôtel. (It’s to the right of the main lobby, through the door next to the coffee bar).

The doorman will provide you an access key if you leave (a copy of) your passport.

The collection is on the 3rd floor, but I suggest going to the 4th floor first; there’s a company that distributes watches. Kindly inquire with their reception about the ‘museum’.

They graciously contacted the caretaker of the collection and accompanied us to the floor below.

Elderly man let us in and patiently waited until we left.

Thank you for the opportunity.

It was not easy to find the place, but luckily I am married to a thai woman. 😀
Dependent on where you are in Bangkok at the start point you will choose underground line only, or a combination of Skytrain and underground line, maybe also taxi. The important thing to know is that the museum is in Swissotel Le Concorde! I really got surprised. I was told that the owner of the museum also is the owner of the hotel, still going strong 91 years old! He don't meet anyone, but srarted his great collection when repairing clocks in the street 16 years old. All respect for this man!!!

The watches were great! A lot of grandfather's clocks, the oldest of all in the museum around 200 years old! But I liked maybe most of all the art clocks. Which masterpieces!

Unfortunately they have had some company visitors which have not been honest or polite, so they don't trust all visitors. They will see if you are a bad guy, believe me!

But if you love clocks and watches by heart you really should look at this collection! 😍
