Classic backpacker haunt, this lively road has everything. Prices higher here than anywhere else but worth a visit for the atmosphere.

Very crowded and noisy but equally interesting as you can find all kinds of clubs and bars and restaurant also shopping is very good. Food and drinks are very cheap. If you like the sort of party scene then best to go after 8pm

Hectic scene, bars, street food, massage parlours, restaurants, music, people, really fun walking through late afternoon, full of life and people, street peddling less than anticipated.

It opened about 7am - I was booked on a trip which left at 7.15am. Does it ever close? I was there at 6.15am, and some places were open. All the best, Steve
