I contacted Thai guide for a personal tour with driver just a few days before my trip (Just hubby and me). They replied promptly with what I wanted to do.
Our guide Peach and driver booked for the day, met us at our hotel and went over our must see list.
Our list was the palace museum, emerald Buddha, reclining Buddha, golden Buddha and Wat Arun.
The detailed info provided about dress code had prepared us for the day. We conveyed that we wanted a quick lunch so as to not waste time and we are vegetarian.
Peach was very good in the route she planned and we were able to finish seeing the palace and emerald Buddha in the morning. She explained the structures, mythology, taught us the way of offering flowers and folding the flower petals and very kindly took a lot of pictures of us on her own accord. We felt very pampered as she handed us wet wipes to be comfortable in the hot climate.
We had a break for lunch at a nice cafe close by and walked across to the next location of the reclining Buddha. After that, we went on a canoe ride for a look at the local neighborhoods and a feel of a floating market by shopping with a vendor on a boat!
(The actual floating market is an hour and a half away from the city)
As the traffic for the lock and step dam caused a delay, we jumped off the canoe instead of waiting and she carved out 30 minutes for us to have a quick tour of Wat Arun.
If not for Peach, we could not have seen everything so fast within a day. It was perfect and not rushed. She even told us we could see the golden Buddha on our own.
We wanted to see a traditional dance performance and that is included with the palace tickets. So we saw that the next day.

We are very happy to say we loved the Thai Guide custom tour and the memories of a wonderful vacation!

We were thoroughly pleased with our guide Apple. She took us around for two days - first with three of us on a self directed tour of a few areas that we wanted to see in the city and then the second day was to the UNESCO cite with five passengers for our own private group. Apple was knowledgeable and very pleasant and professional. Arrangements made through the company was first rate. Highly recommend this guide and company.

My wife and I decided to hire a tour guide for a day in Bangkok. We had been in Bangkok many times before but thought it would be good to hit some sites. We met Peach at our hotel and she asked us what we wanted to do. My wife said she wanted to see something unique and not the usual tourist type places. Peach suggested a boat tour of Bangkok canals we were intrigued. It turned out to be a fantastic experience! Peach was very knowledgeable and set up everything "on the fly" first we visited a local temple then our private boat arrived (this was and extra charge of 2200 baht - but was well worth it). We spent the next two hours traveling around these canals - it was fantastic and a really unique experience. We didn't see another tourist during the entire trip! We ended the trip at a local food market. We were exhausted but happy. The only mistake we made was not bringing enough sunblock but Peach had extra umbrellas that helped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two days with Kiki.

Kiki is a fun, outgoing and bubbly tour guide and is extremely knowledgable about the history and Culture of Bangkok and Thailand.

She was really open to tailoring our tour to things that interested us - but also made great suggestions to maximise our time in the city and made it as easy as possible for us.

When we she took us to the Grand Palace she explained the history of the many buildings to us in a way that really engaged us and our children - and we all learnt a lot about the religious, cultural and royal history of Thailand.

She also arranged an amazing boat ride for us away from tourist traps where we got to see how local people live.

We would recommend Kiki to all visitors to Bangkok.

Thank you Kiki

Our guide Peach was amazing! She explained in detail about a lot of things and places we went to. And she covered two main places in Bangkok which probably would have been difficult otherwise.
But one thing we did not appreciate was (it was not a big deal but worth mentioning) the way we were coerced into spending money at the floating market. We were forced to buy food for her (which is totally fine!) but also for the boat driver, along with a hefty tip - and mind you the ticket itself was expensive! Many other tourists were not even bothering about stopping at stalls, but we were being stopped at every store and kind of being haggled. We did a similar guided tour in Chiang Mai and that was all inclusive and reasonable. But in this guided tour we not only paid a lot for both guide and driver, for them food, paid the tolls, we also had to fill up the gas tank! I found this very ridiculous. We did many guided tours in Thailand, but no other tour asked us to full up fuel.

Our guide, Elena was super knowledgable! My dad and I hired her for the day and she asked what we wanted to do for the day and made a plan for it when she came to our hotel in the morning.
My dad loves history; so her love and passion in history showed through her explanation for Thai history. She answered all our questions.
Although we didn’t get to see everything (since we spoke a lot about history 😊) but we really enjoyed our time that day.
I recommend her to those who love history as she’s so passionate and knowledgable and able to give thorough explanation.
Thank you Elena!

Yuut was not only an excellent and knowledgeable guide, but he went above and beyond to make our experience in Bangkok as memorable as possible. We learned so much about the city and country’s history and gained a greater understanding and appreciation for the people that live there. I could not recommend Yuut as a guide more highly. We were thrilled with the entire day and our customer tailored experience! Once we have him a list of items we wanted to do, we had the whole day planned out and Yuut’s local knowledge was unbeatable. Your Thai Guide gets our stamp stamp of approval!

My family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults) had a 12 hr layover in Bangkok and I booked a private tour with Your Thai Guide to maximize the short time we got in Bangkok. Our guide was Apple and we were so happy with her! We were tired from a very early morning flight, and wanted a relaxed mix of cultural and kid-friendly activities, with some sampling of local food. She designed the perfect day for us! She was so sweet with the kids, telling us a lot of fun facts and cool things the kids could do that they didn’t even complain during our tour of Wat Pho (they usually complain when I make them see cultural aights)! We ended our day with a cheap and delicious local meal. I can totally recommend Apple!

We booked a private trip with Guide Oil and a driver (I can't remember his name, sorry) for 7 of us to visit Bridge over River Kwai and Hellfire Pass. What a super pleasant guide and driver we had! Both were extremely professional and super friendly. Oil was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the area and history and nothing was too much trouble to organise.
I cannot recommend Your Thai Guide (and especially Oil) highly enough. I was very pleased to have found them for our excursion and would thoroughly recommend them for your upcoming trip!

We specifically requested Yuut as our guide because he had great reviews from other travelers. He was formally a monk for 10 years and we thought his previous experience would enhance our learning about Thai culture and history. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. He promptly arrived at the agreed time, reviewed our itinerary and we took off using taxi and and sky train to get to our first destination. He provided us with so much information and was so fun to spend the day with. Having a local navigate the city makes the experience so much easier especially if you do not speak or read the language. We got to do a canal boat ride, use tuk Tuks and the new underground. He made sure we got wonderful experienceS at the Grand Palace and Wat Po with in-depth explanations. He suggested a delicious restaurant for lunch and made sure we got back to our hotel. The company is also very organized and provided clear communications about our engagement form the first email to the message we received when we checked into our hotel.
