Authentic Thai massage

I was fortunate to be staying a minutes walk from this gem I went there everyday for a week. Sometimes I even requested two masseuses per session They advertise as a proper massage place (no hanky panky) Prices are on the higher side but well worth the massage The center actually feels like a historic mansion turned into a massage center After selecting your agenda at the lobby, you're seated & offered aromatic Thai teas Then you're beckoned by your masseuse to move to another area where she washes your feet Then your ushered to a private room Very basic Two mattresses with A television (which I found awkward- do people take hours worth of massages that they need tv breaks?) And Thai massage attire Then the massage begins I personally do not like lotions, creams or oils because I find that masseuses don't massage when your skin is lubricated. They sort of glide over you. With a dry massage, you're guaranteed to get massaged In fact, on several occasions, I had to politely ask the masseuse to soften her massage On one visit, the masseuse really hurt me. She used her knee, as they do traditionally, to massage my knee. She lost her balance & her full weight, through her knee, fell on my knee. It really hurt. In fact, it's been 10 days now since the accident & it still hurts a bit It's a mistake, people make mistakes. But a massage place should really be careful as their mistakes could have major impacts Please give this review a thumbs up

The area
Address
Neighborhood: Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.

Beware of stealing stuff!
Nov 2017 • Friends
After my visit for a thai massage I was really disappointed, because the masseuse stole money out of my wallet, (which was in my bag!) She stole it while I had a shower. Absolutly shameless and unscrupulously to deprive somebody in such a helpless situation (naked having a shower)! I choose this Spa because it seemed to be professional but reality teached me the truth. I would not recommend somebody this thieving spa!

Local Thai massage
Nov 2014 • Couples
Great little Thai massage place walking distance from the Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 57. My boyfriend and I walked over after breakfast for a 150 baht Thai foot massage. The place is clean and pretty empty. They give you a great massage and also spend about 10 minutes on your neck and back. Tea is served at the end of the service. For 150 baht it was a great deal and worth checking out.

A local friend took us here and it was not disappointing. The reception area looked clean, spacious and upmarket. Drinks were served before and after the massage. We paid 500 baht per person for a 2 hours traditional Thai massage. Our Thai friend joined as a member afterwards and got the price reduced to 400 baht. They were so accommodating. Very happy with their service!
