I had a lovely first visit to Su’s Esthetic Spa. I came for the a Korean Scrub and massage. Slightly different than a Jimjilbang, as there isn’t different baths, but still a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Also nice if you’re not comfortable with the nudity at Jimjilbangs, as you’ll have your own private room. I was really impressed with the Pore Cleaning facial. My skin glowed afterward. Such a great place to recharge. Quick walk from the Phrom Phrong metro.

I signed up for a 2hr 30 min spa package at Su Esthetic Home Spa. It comprised of korean steam, scrub, massage and facial. Enjoyed the whole session tremendously as it was so relaxing. The massage pressure was just nice. I didn't feel that it was too fast. The spa ambience was also very calming and relaxing, providing a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok city.

Do not agree with the high rating of this spa. Firstly very difficult to find and nowhere near downtown so not convenient location for tourist customers. Secondly very bad communication skills. Thirdly massage weak and not following any real pattern, just moving around the body in random sometimes fast and sometimes slow, so strange.

We are so sorry you didn’t enjoy your visit. We are located a quiet lane just off busy Sukhumvit Road, 5-10 minutes by taxi from the Phrom Phong BTS station or 15 minutes on foot. Visitors who are not familiar with Bangkok should check our location on Google Maps before heading out or you can have the taxi driver call us on 022-585-224 or 082 3344 086 and we can give directions. Our receptionist speaks fluent English, Thai, Mandarin and Cantonese, and has a working knowledge of Japanese and a smattering of Korean. Our highly experienced therapists have been with us for years and were trained in Korean massage techniques by a master Korean masseuse who we brought to Bangkok for training. Korean massage is known to be a relatively strong massage technique and if guests find the treatment overly rough or too gentle, they are urged to let the masseuse know as every guest has their personal preference.

After reading all the nice reviews I was looking forward to a Korean Body Scrub. Regrettably this is not anything close to a Korean Body Scrub. The technician did the best she could given the tools she had and therefore I had a nice scrub, albeit I have a few areas that are missing a few layers of skin!!
This is a quaint place and it is very clean. I'm sure there are other treatments here that are worthy of the reviews. But the Korean Body Scrub is definitely not one of them.

Hi Apiapis, Thanks for taking time out to write a review and sorry for the confusion. We're not sure where you previously had a Korean Body Scrub (Vancouver perhaps?) but our body scrub is the real deal, as our Korean customers happily confirm. And yes, Korean Scrubs are meant to remove layers of dead skin - that's the whole point. A thin mitt with a sandpaper-like texture is used to scrub away the body of all the dirt and layers of dead skin that accumulate naturally. For step-by-step directions, we urge you to watch the video "korean-scrub-mistress" video on CNN Travel. We're happy to explain any and all treatments to our customers if requested.

This is my third stay at the Novotel Sukhumvit 20. I am delighted to know that my stay at the hotel was very welcoming. Miss Toi checked me in whilst Pipe assisted. I know them well and have developed a close friendship with them. Thank you Miss Toi and Mr Pipe for your present. I experienced severe nerve pain while having breakfast at hotel restaurant and as advised by Mr Po Po, the Duty Managerr. went to Samitivej Hospital for Doctor consultation. Thank you Mr PoPo and not forgetting Ms Patt who rendered a great service by calling Mr PoPo to the restaurant. During my six days stay at the hotel I was pleasantly greeted by Concierge personnel as and when I stepped out of the hotel or coming back after my outing. It is very heartening that counter and concierge personnel were happy to see me again . I have no issue pertaining to my room which was on the 23rd floor. But I prefer a corner room and Ms Toi have taken note of it on my next visit again,

I visited Su Esthetic with a group of 7 ladies. Though the spa can only serve 6 people maximum within the same time slot, the owner - Miss Monique was so nice that she made special arrangements on that day and all of us can enjoy the spa treatments we had chosen. Besides, Monique also arranged the suitable therapists for us according everyone's preference. "A Big LIKE to Monique"

I tried the 2.5 hours coconut oil massage with scrub, the skillful masseuse was so caring and I can relax and enjoy the whole spa journey. It was an amazing spa experience to me and definitely recommend this warmth, cozy place to all of you.

For sure will visit Su Esthetic Home Spa again!!!

I came away relaxed and rejuvenated. Loved the signature face and body massage! They are very clean. I actually appreciated the recommended tipping sign, you just never know here in Bangkok. I will be back!

So as to avoid traffic congestion, we took BTS and the location was a bit tricky to find at first. But this little home spa is worthy of note. Love the homely decor with taste and the staffs are all well trained. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 hours Oil Body Massage in there. Can't explain in words, you need to try it yourself. Highly recommended!

Let me preface- I've been to a LOT of little massage joints around Bangkok where the ladies sit around and chit chat with one another- and even talk to one another while massaging you... (I realize this type of massage is normal at a certain price point- and if you go up over $50, it rarely happens... but when I'm here, I'm in the business of daily massages- so I'm looking more for the less-than-thirty prices...) Su Esthetic was away from the busy streets (while slightly off the beaten path- they are happy to speak with your cab driver and explain where they are located- or there are good walking instructions on their website)- It was clean- quiet, and adorable. I had a facial and massage, and my friend had a body scrub and facial... They were WONDERFUL, quiet, perfectly gentle and so so relaxing. She asked before beginning how strong I wanted my massage- I also expressed some concern about skin sensitivities- She really listened and both were perfect. The staff were very professional- courteous and quiet- And as it started raining, they scrambled around to try and get us a taxi- even going as far as rushing out to the main street to flag one down... (Although it didn't work out, we TRULY appreciated the effort... ) The place is already affordable, but the promo prices are an extra sweet deal. I will absolutely be back-

Went back to Su Esthetic again. Despite the local being slightly inconvenient for foreigners, the websites actually provide very detailed directions and finding the place isn't hard at all.

Plus :
+detailed and well designed website (and mobile site)
+ambience was great, the place felt relaxing
+given a choice to try and select of essential oil is a plus
+the promotional package is definitely value for money
+body scrub was done in great details, felt so smooth!
+massage was done skilfully
+kept to the time punctually
+competitive rates for treatments.

Su Esthetic will still remain my top choice whenever I visit Bangkok.
