Great place to skate. Went as my son wanted to go. Staff are very nice. Good vibe, good music and decent snacks for those of us waiting. Was kind of busy when we were there.

Cool down from Bangkok heat

One of the several ice skating rinks in Bangkok. Not hugely popular but this place has real ice rink unlike some with waxes ice which is not so much fun. Admission prices are reasonable and sub zero ice skate club has a few branches. Have fun

Great Music and food in a nice environment.

I have been at Apoteka many times, together with family, friends and alone. The food is good but the reason for visiting Apoteka is the amazing live music up to now I have never been disappointed.

The atmosphere of the rink was nice. But the rink itself was very unkept. Very uneven (especially around the sides) and the ice was melting. The barriers looked like they were unstable. Rental skates were quite dull. Nice bathrooms and snack bar.

Great for learning/practicing skating
May 2016 • Family
This rink is much less expensive than some of the others in Bangkok. The ice isn't as nice (some bumps and water), but it's still good. We went to the one in Esplanade. The staff were very friendly and relaxed and the kids were able to use the little penguins to hold onto to help them while they skated. When we went, it wasn't very busy, which was nice to get some skate-tag games going! We will definitly be returning.

Too slippery
Jan 2016 • Friends
Ice skating rink was cheaper in comparison to those in Singapore, but once I stepped onto the ice I knew why - the temperature was maintained at 20 degrees Celsius, which was too warm for the ice. It was too slippery due to the melting ice and somehow water was dripping from the ceiling as well.

Not too many people (this being the Mega Bangna mall), which was great, but overall I did not have a very good time.

The Best Ice Rink Ever!
Dec 2015 • Family
Mega Bangna's Sub Zero Ice Skate Club is the best place for you to go skating. Summer is the best time to visit this place. You can skate here when it's really hot outside. People who love ice hockey could join the team. The rink will close and let the ice hockey's player practice on the rink. If you're interested to join a team, you could just contact the staff. I recommended you to stay here for 2-3 hours. You couldn't have fun if you stay only for 1 hour. ENJOY! PLEASE GIVE ME HELPFUL VOTES! PLEASE!

Good skating place for young and old!
Jul 2015 • Family
Sub-Zero at Sukhumwit Soi 63, oppossite Ekkemai Bus Station is a nice getaway for young and old in tropical Bangkok from noon to around 8:30 PM. Inside the temperature is like 22 Celsius. This Ice rink seems more stable in business than the other ice rinks in Bangkok, like the Rink. There are actually quote a few, just Google on "ice rink Bangkok". Don't go to The Esplanade venture of Sub Zero, as it is closed now!! Not sure it will open again in future.

The rink at Ekkemai contains two skating grounds: a smaller one for the kids who want to learn to skate at the skilfull hands of one of The many trainers, and a bigger one for skaters who know their trade. Bring you're own socks, or buy them at the rink for 40 Baht. Skate rental is included in the Admission price. You pay and advance per person, which is cut or charged extra, depending on the amount of time you hace skated. Every wednesday they have promotion: half price on the regular Admission fee. So wednesday is a good day to do some skating. You can also skate all day for 500 Baht, or from late afternoon untill Closure around 8:30 PM for 300 Baht.

The entrance used to be hard to find, but this has improved by beter billboarding and signs. Best way to go from the centre is by BTS Skytrain. Hop on the Sukhumwit line in the direction of Bearing and get out at Ekkemai (E9). While exiting, you notice a tall building on your right hand side, with a big poster of Sub Zero. You can decent onto street level, or better: take the skywalk from the BTS. Follow the sign Sub Zero and walk straight into the building! In the building there is a big sports club. Walk left and then take the elevator to the 9th Floor! Notice the Sub Zero billboarding on the elevator doors. You can bring you're own skates, if you happen to pack them lucky enough to live in Bangkok. Speed skates are not allowed!
