I had a foot massage for 250 baht for one hour at foot joy and loved it very much. The massage was well done and the very nice lady made sure that I was sitting comfortably/tucked me under a blanket.

When I was leaving, it started to rain strongly, so they asked me to stay, brought me a tea and a muffin - very, very nice and considerate.

I would always recommend this place!

The excellent Footjoy in Soi 11 has now closed, pending a redevelopment of the building it was in. A sign on the window says that they have moved to Soi 33. There is also an excellent Footjoy 'Relaxense' in Soi 8 which I can highly recommend.

I seldom write reviews, but I was genuinely displeasured by my experience that I need to warn everyone about this place. It started before I even stepped foot into the parlour, the price advertised for foot massage was 250 baht but the masseuse tried to fetch a higher price by jokingly mentioning that it was 300 baht.

After being seated, my cheery masseuse was replaced by another lady. The massage started but it was as if she was just lathering oil on my legs. I requested for her to massage harder but she demanded for 100 baht of tip, which I obviously said no. She then said 50 baht for medium strength, I just smiled at her even though I was on the verge of being irritated - who asks for a tip without even trying to do a good job in the first place!!! After 5 mins, I tried asking to go harder again but she again demanded 100 baht. I started showing my unhappy face and just closed my eyes. I guess she could sense that I am tolerating the experience but I did not want to just walk out and pay the 250 baht - instead my torture ended after 50 minutes (she did not even complete the whole hour!).

After paying at the counter, another masseuse nudged me to pay a tip, but I just say thank you and walked out. I have been in Thailand for many years, having the best massages each day when I am here....what happened to that?? :(

Been to Footjoy over a dozen times and it is the best value for money, no nonsense, properly timed (60 mins is 60 mins not 50 or 55). Apart from the odd new face the ladies are long serving (around 3 years) and they do a fab job.

The mamasan is the key....she runs it like a correctional facility and the entire shop and process is done in total silence and without any fuss (or much smiling either). That said the experience is relaxing and a great way to just unwind and get away! The silence and scolding applies equally to employees and customers so don't think you'll be able to chat or be on the phone etc!

Beware - if (as happened to me once) the mamasan is away then, as the mice do when the cat is absent, the place can become a bit of a farce, with loud talking (amongst the ladies themselves) and even a radio blaring!

Go try - you won't regret it!

Fantastic! Here for the second night. Best foot and leg massage ever. Clean, friendly, accommodating, and great view out window walls to cool, busy, Bangkok alley corner. Can buy a beer across the street or have tea they serve. Wonderful!

The masseuse was so engrossed in her conversation with the other ladies that she forgot or did not care that I had asked her not to touch my left knee which is not fully recovered after knee surgery. She spent the first 15 minutes cursing and flailing her arms about, shouting to her colleagues. She dug her fingers into my causing extreme pain and when asked to stop she hissed at me and directed her curses at me. When I said I would leave as I could not continue with the massage as it had caused injury to my knee, was very unrelaxed, amidst the cursing, and was very poor and lackluster, the masseuse, the rest of the staff, and the manager became very hostile, screaming at me, even though I paid for a full hour, having only received 15 minutes "treatment". nasty, vile, scary place. Do not go there. It is appalling, and nothing like the amazing massages on offer in abundance in Thailand. Limped away in agony.

I have been here years ago, and they used to do a decent job, not anymore.Terribly Rude staff. They just keep chatting amongst themselves and boy are they LOUD! they either chat amongst themselves or on their mobiles. Absolutely disinterested in their work.I have had massage at many places, this massage place is the worst ever.Would you believe that when we told them to at least talk softly, they shooed us back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about relaxing and calmness following a massage, well this is the opposite. We came out harried and frazzled, like after an experience in an extra loud ear splitting fish market!

I had a Thai massage from this shop on Sunday, 16th of Oct, 2016.

The person who massaged me was so rude and smelly.

She had a very bad breath. She did not have service mind.

She rushed to finish and there was 10-15 mins shorts. She did so because there was more customer waiting and wanted to massage customers as many as she can. But hello..... it's not my problem. I pay for 1 hr massage not 45-50 mins massage.

The woman at cashier was also rude. I came to the shop, I paid. I didn't ask for a free service. And I didn't ask for anything extra. I paid full amount but I didn't get fair treat in return.

The massage woman also played her phone and massaged me with one hand very often. She lied her phone on my back.

I didn't expect them to treat me like 5 star expensive spa. I didn't expect them to treat me like a dog crap either.

You get what you pay for. Decoration and stuff in this massage shop makes sense for the price they charge. However having service mind, politeness, and good hygene are standard for a business like this no matter what.

My bf had a good foot massage. He started the massage before me but I finished my massage first. My bf's brother had an unsatisfying Thai massage too, and his gf had an okay Thai massage. And again they started Thai massage with me but I finished first.

This shop has to do something to make all stuff improve themselves to have a standard.

And she hit me up for tip. I didn't give her any tip because she did not deserve it. Lucky for them I didn't for a discount haha.

I will never step inside that shop ever again. They can only earn money off tourists / new comers. I don't think they have regular customer.

I don't recommend this place.

Terrible and rude staff.. Absolutely disinterested in their work.. Keep chatting and just going thru the motions.. Have been coming to Thailand for last 10 years and have had massage at many places..this massage centre at soi 11 is the worst ever.. There are many massage places in this area.. Just go to any of them as nothing can be worst than this place.. Will never recommend this place to anybody.. AVOID

This outlet was the worst. We 3 friends went for a massage at around 11.15 pm, they took money in advance for an hours massage but asked us to leave in 40 mins saying its closing time. The service was very bad and they were very rude. Therapist was on the phone while massaging and did not pay heed to me telling to reduce pressure. When I told the lady who was sitting on the counter that why were we asked to pay for an hour she did not even look at me, forget replying.
Bkk was not like this when I came in 2011, these people were rude, no customer service and just wanted to get money without giving any service.
Disgusting !
