Explore Kanchanaburi’s harrowing past on 2-day, joint or private guided tour to Hellfire Pass and the Death Railway. Visit the region’s most important World War II sites: walk among the War Cemetery’s allied graves, then learn their stories at the Thailand-Burma Railway Center and the famous bridge across the River Kwai. Board a riverboat for Hellfire Pass, where POWs died in miserable conditions, then return to Thailand’s vivid, thriving present with an evening traditional dance presentation and a visit to a rural Mon tribal village.

Stayed 1 week at the academy, single room, and left with mixed feelings. The room is spacious enough, but the bathroom was never cleaned during my stay and the toilet was leaking. There is laundry service available and it is good. The location is far from the center of Bangkok, but there is a bike service just around the corner, and it gets you to the BTS station (and from there you can go anywhere in the city). As for the training, the area is small and at times it gets overcrowded (especially the ring). Trainers are good, with the exception of one trainer/fighter that I found rude, cocky and plain disrespectful. Master Toddy is friendly and tries to be present on the grounds as often as possible. The lady at the reception/store is helpful, friendly and speaks good english. In general I'd say my experience was alright, maybe if I had more time and was more advanced, I'd have enjoyed the training more than I did ...

I stayed at Master Toddy's for just two weeks and it was the most authentic and educational experience that I have had with regards to Muay Thai. The trainers are very knowledgable and can give you helpful feedback for people of all levels. I will be returning and I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is interested in the sport.

I was just in Bangkok for a short time, but had always dreamed of training at a Muay Thai gym in Thailand. This gave me that experience of a lifetime. The training was great, my trainer was very patient, and I feel like I got a good workout and the experience of a lifetime.

Instructors were experienced fighters. Everyone is respectful and helpful. Training can be intense and hard by choice, but most importantly it's fun. Gym is conveniently located from BTS with stretch of local food available. The accommodation amenities and service made me feel at home.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience training with Master O at Master Toddy’s Muay Thai in Bangkok. This is a legitimate/no-joke training center. They work with professional fighters from around the world, and also offer classes to beginners. I trained with excellent instructors, met helpful staff members and chatted with a couple of students were seriously training/living there. I booked my 2-hour private session online in advance of my trip, and the team was very helpful in coordinating the logistics. As my scheduled session approached, the staff sent me an email with directions written in Thai so my taxi driver could find the facility. That was very helpful since the facility is a bit off the beaten path. The facility was clean, professional, and a very cool place to train. There’s a pro shop with traditional Muay Thai shorts, T-shirts, wraps, gloves, shin pads… Everything you need for a one-time session, or ongoing classes. The staff was extremely helpful and patient in helping me find the right sizes and colors of shorts to bring back as gifts. Everyone I worked with spoke English well. After my sessions, I was able to use the showers/changing areas. Bring your own towels and toiletries, and you can go from the ring directly to the sky bars later! Training with Master O was a real treat. I have some background in martial arts, and I also teach a bit. So, the opportunity to train as a student and work with a gifted instructor like Master O was excellent. He’s a fantastic instructor, and a good communicator. His English is excellent. He’s been training and fighting for 30+ years, and he knows his stuff. He also knows how to explain/express the technical aspects to help his trainees improve their techniques. The facility offers private lessons, as well as scheduled group classes. They also have sleeping quarters for guests who want to train full-time. After my first private lesson, I went back for a second one! I would love to come back again and learn/train there further. Whether you are a beginner or a professional fighter, if you’re going to Bangkok and you want to train Muay Thai, book some time with Master O at Master Toddy’s! They are top notch!!
