The ambience, the cleanliness, the environment! Combined with the professionalism of the therapists. Need I say more? Everytime I visit Bangkok, I try to stay around the Silom/Sala Daeng area, because Sook Sabai Health Massage is located here. Even if the itinerary is very tight, I would definitely schedule a session before flying back home.

We booked through TripAdvisor, which books through their website and third party billing app called GoWabi (which requires a credit card to hold the reservation). We booked two 120 min massages for 11:15, and received email confirmations the day before that both had been confirmed. Upon arrival, they greeted us (not yet knowing that we had a reservation) and asked us if we would like a massage as they had immediate availability with no bookings, which was obvious as no other clients were in there. We told them that we had actually booked online and had reservations. Ironically we also noticed that the 2hr massage rate we paid on line was significantly cheaper than what was listed there in the massage parlor itself. However, we just assumed it may be a discounted rate due to booking in advance or due to their partnership with TripAdvisor to obtain customers, vs pricing for a regular walk in off the street. However, the two women reiterated that they had no bookings/reservations at that time, so we showed them the email confirming and where we had prepaid. They said they needed to call their billing/reservation partner, which they did. When they returned, they and stated they were completely booked but could now get us in later that afternoon at 1:30 (vs the previously confirmed 11:15). This was obviously suspicious considering a minute a go they were completely open. At that moment, I received an email from the billing/reservation partner stating that they were booked but that our “90 min massages” (were supposed to be 120 mins) could now completed at 1:30 but I needed to respond to this email to confirm. Knowing we had originally booked 120 mins, I quickly looked at the previous email confirmation from the day before, and it did indeed stated 120 mins. Therefore, they had manually changed the length of the massage in this ‘rescheduling’ to several hours later in the day. At that point, my wife and I kindly thanked them but said that we could not do 1:30 and needed to cancel. I followed up via email as well with the with the booking/billing company to state that we were not okay with the change, and requesting that they cancel and NOT bill our credit card. We received a response that they had already billed our card despite no services rendered, but that we would received a refund back to the card in ‘30 working days’, which is absolutely absurd and doubt that will actually happen. Am guessing that we’ll ultimate probably need to contact our credit card company to report fraud. Long story short, if you choose to obtain a massage here, would highly recommend that you both book in person and pay cash after services are rendered. That of course comes with it’s own risk though, as the pricing and duration are still subject to change in which you could be debating with them after the fact.

Price was so cheap compare to America. I did a 2 hour foot massage one day and a 2 hours Thai massage.it was my first time trying the Thai massage. It was very interesting but quite painful in my opinion. Foot massage was great. They also provide you with coconut jelly and green tea after massage is done.

Came here twice in 3 days. Enjoyed every moment. Wish I had time for more! Polite staff, nice ambience (check out the rooftop terrace for an after massage chill out), reasonable pricing. Will come again if the opportunity arises.
