As someone who loves to play tennis, it's only natural to want to find a place to play while on vacation. I've been to Thailand many times before and I've played at a few other places but Spin & Slice is, in my humble opinion, the best. Why do I say that? For a number of reasons. One, the staff at S&S are perfectly fluent in English. Do you think that's not so important? Try reserving a court on a day and time in a language you can't speak and then you'll understand. Two, the condition of the courts is very good. Three, the cost of renting court time is very reasonable. Four, they have a head coach and assistant coaches if you want some instruction and their rates are reasonable. Five, they have a shower room and an exercise room. Six, they have a little kitchen that can prepare meals and snacks. Seven, they have cold drinks--including beer--for sale and the prices are reasonable. Eight, they have a massage room right on the premises. And so on. Oh, I should add one more thing: they are very respectful and personable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and pleasant; no room for large egos here :-)

So do yourself a favor. If you love tennis like me and you want to find a place to play, just go to Spin & Slice and you'll have a GREAT time. Check out their website; it's full of useful information.

I should add that a small group of us from Hawaii played there in October of 2013. In a few weeks, I'll be flying back to Thailand and I will certainly be going there to play again. Oh, one last thing: the easiest way to get there is by taxi but if you want to take the Sky Train, get off the station called On Nut. From the station, it's a 15 - 20 minute walk or you could pay for a motorcycle ride (cost about 20 baht/65 cents; time: about 5 minutes).

If you are in Bkk for any reason and want to play tennis, go to Spin and slice. Convenient location not far from O Nut Skytrain on Sukhumvit, Soi 50, next to motorway if you go by car. 6 well maintained hard floor courts, you cab rent a court if you come with other players or you rent court and coach. They have always good couches available as they have a number of coaches who play here or on their 2nd location in Phuket, Tanyapyra. Fair prices.

I loved my tennis instructor, so bought a package. However, when I went to use some of my lessons in January after the New Year, the company had "left" and all the numbers given to me to get a refund have not worked. I have tried emailing, calling Khun Run, etc. but no one has answered my calls or emails. Do not trust Spin and Slice - they stole my money.

Please note that the instructors had nothing to do with this, they also were not paid.

Shame on the owners.

really good location, very easy to access.
very high quality coaching, not just for the serious players (i see many serious juniors train here) but also for beginner / intermediate players too (such as myself).
the club has 6 courts, all in very good condition, a gym (decently equipped) and you can actually get footwork or other tennis specific training there, a simple kitchen that serves yummy food reasonably priced, as well as very clean locker room with shower.
Lessons are very reasonablly priced, I would recommand head coach Timo, who is a very experienced and effective - many coaches are good at telling you what's wrong but few can be as effective in actually making you get it and do it.
In summary, I had a very good time here with Spin & Slice, will certainly come back!
