Bangkok Three Sixty
…Chinese fortune telling, breakfast in a temple, the contrasts of spiritual Bangkok and rush-hour Bangkok, skyscraper canyons and ancient neighborhoods, motorbike taxis and speedboats, Buddhist chants and chill-out tunes, neighborhood food stalls and cosmopolitan skybars, spectacular skyline views and cultural conservation projects, bustling markets and mystical alleys, vertical slums and offbeat artist communities. This adventure immerses you not in the unseen Bangkok but 'unthought' Bangkok, its living heritage in diverse urban regions that reflect the narratives and dynamics between development and conservation, between past and present of the ordinary people of Bangkok. If you want to go all in and explore and understand the realities of Bangkok then this tour is for you.
There’s much more to Bangkok than its most popular tourist attractions; this after-dark cycle tour around the city will take you off the beaten track and away from the crowds. Explore Bangkok’s suburbs and obscure highlights – temples, waterways, markets and more – in a small group, ensuring that your riding experience is comfortable and laidback. Cycle on both sides of the Chao Phraya River and take a ferry across, enjoying great views of the Bangkok skyline all lit up at night.

I thought I had known Bangkok as I worked there for half a year. However, Bangkok Vanguards taught me better. I have seen breath taking places off the common pathes and hidden to most visitors. This day I learned much about the culture, history and nowadays challenges of local communities in this vibrant city as well as the taste of street food and home cooked Thai dishes. Our guide who grew up and lives in Bangkok was very courteous and responded to individual wishes of the small group. There was no time that I felt uninformed or lost. Furthermore, Bangkok Vanguards should be your first choice, if you are interested in sustainable tourism. These people do not care about their own profit, but spreading the story of and on the same hand supporting local communities. I wish I could be guided by them in each and every vacation. Thank you for this unique experience, Linda and Nicolai…

Bangkok 360 shows the real Bangkok behind the scenes you could never explore on your own without this local guide who really wanted to grant us this special view on Bangkok. Bing brought us through the whole day with an unbelievable kindness and he friendly had an answer on all our questions! Chinatown, little India, Indian Temple, artist coffee, long boat canal tour besides the tourism tracks, we had an amazing good lunch at a real thai family‘s home, visited a real buddhism temple, amazing food everywhere.... IT WAS GREAT!!!! 😁😋👍🏻 Bing dropped us at least at a roof top bar, and as we travel a lot we urgently recommend to ask for this great guide! You really feel he loves to welcome foreigners through his hometown Bangkok, to guide them through the day and to leave them as friends. We had our tour in German but we write in English to let you all know-book this tour and enjoy!!! Have fun and thanks again to Bing 😁😁😁…

Review of: Bangkok Starters
This was our first time in Bangkok, and we wanted to begin our stay in the city with a tourism organization that has a locally focused, sustainable mission. Bangkok Vanguards' theory of change and the story of its founder Michael distinguished this group from the rest—and our day spent with tour guide Mu made the experience so worthwhile! Mu studied archaeology and has a passion for art (he mentioned wanting to begin a street art tour, which we would love to join in the future!). His knowledge of Thai history, as well as the sociocultural dynamics within Bangkok and across the country, gave us greater insight than we anticipated for day one of our trip! For those who are new to Bangkok, this tour is designed to help you navigate the city, street food and visit local spots in addition to some of the top destinations for tourists. We could not have asked for a better tour or guide, and highly recommend Bangkok Vanguards and Mu to fellow travelers!…

This was our 3rd tour with Bangkok Vanguards and it was definitely a highlight of our stay in Bangkok. While taking the whole day, the tour has the eight mix of exploring the city (by foot and longtail boat) and relaxing (food tasting, temples, etc). This really is an off-the-beaten track tour and our guide gave a lot of infos during the tour. Definitely one of the best city tours we have done so far.…

We arrived in Bangkok as a divers group and were joined by our guide Michael, who immediately fit right in. He tailored a tour for us that was mindblowing, giving us a close-up to the cultural diversity of Bangkok. The knowledge and background information he gave us at any point of the tour was impressive and brought across in an entertaining and relaxed fashion. It felt like chating to a friend rather than being talked at by a stranger. He brought us close and personal to locals, who in their turn would give us a small insight into their life. Thank Michael for the fantastic day, we can recommend your tours at any time!…
