Go to this tailor! They are good!
I was a bit suspicious about this tailor (in fact about all tailors) because you can not know if the tailer tries to rip you off or not. But I must say this tailor (Harry and his colleagues) are really good in what they are doing. They gave good advices and the suits they made are really good on each detail. We bought two king blue jackets with black details and two black trousers. We were surprised by the quality and by the price. I can recommend Majestic Tailors!

Excellent quality
I would like to highly recommend Majestic Tailor on Sukumvit just off Soi 4. I am a long time Bangkok resident who lives on the river now but previously lived on nearby Sukumvit Soi 8. I have been a client of Majestic for some 20 years. I just had another fine quality suit crafted by Kevin, and their able staff. This is a reliable, professional high quality establishment !

Friendly service with professional advices
Frankly speaking, I am a type of person like the one who not pay much attention to the costume. Since the 1st time I had stepped in Majestic tailor shop with my friends, I felt really good somehow with the nice greeting and the way they provide us friendly service with great professional advices. I have learnt a lot from them. quality suits with valid pricing. Very impressive!!!

Synthetic/polyester!!!

My husband bought five tailored shirts at Majestic Tailors in August. The price was high but he was assured that the fabric was top-quality cotton. When the shirts were delivered at our hotel, it turned out that the fabric was cotton mixed with polyester (confirmed by other tailors in the area). When he went back last week to complain, the tailor immediately started burning some fabric to ‘prove’ that it was pure cotton - not his first time to do that. You do not need to be a professional to see that it is mixed with synthetic material. Anyway, my suggestion is stay away!

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to learn about the discrepancy of the cotton fabric. We do have a wide range of pure cotton and cotton/mix for shirts, which are separated in two different sections in our store. Our price ranges are contingent of the fabric you select. We respect everyone who walks into our store , whether they are just browsing or interested in purchasing from us. We tried our best to guide each client and help them make a well informed decision. Premium Cotton are soft fabric and has slight shine due to high thread count He did have fittings for his shirts , and only after the final fitting it was delivered to him. I would love to invite you to our store along with you husband, and understand what happened instead of listening to a competitor store near by. I would recommend to pay a bit more for executive. I enjoyed it a lot there. Cocktails there were great. The staffs were very polite and extremely friendly. Only when I checked in late and just noticed that the afternoon tea was finished … Good service Good Location

Poor fit

I had a blazer made here. The right sleeve was sewn on poorly (come up much higher than the other sleeve where the sleeve attaches to the body of the blazer). I showed it to two other tailors, one of whom started laughing at how bad it was. One tailor quoted $50 to change it, and another $60 so it was not cheap. Kevin refused to fix it even though it was obvious it was a mistake. There is no way I could wear it to an interview as it was given to me so I sucked it up and had it fixed by another tailor.

I also had a pair of pants made. They were short by 1.5 inches so he must have measured wrong or not used the right measurement. I had to get them taken out.

The shirts I had made were alright.

Majestically terrible

They are very nice until the deposit is payed. I wanted to feel little special for my first suit .I was so exited ! The father was nice until i met the son who was rude and arrogant. The jacket was wrong, bad cut on the collar ( hurting me in the front of my neck and too large on the back) but they told me that was my choice. I tried talking to the father,who also became unprofessional. but there were 3 men there, i didn't want to get into a big argument so i paid what ever they wanted and i left . I end up wanted to cry and ran to another tailer who is going to try to fix this jacket. I realise this other tailer was half price of Majestic Tailor and a lot more professional and patient. Bad experience i should have gone to Zara for better service. Only the bill was Majestic.

Dear Florence, We have made the suit according to the style and size as discussed. You were happy with the end product and had asked us to keep your size on file for future reference. You also brought in your mom's coat to be altered, which we did for you. There was a labor charge to it which you hesitated to pay. Please do understand that this was talked and we have to pay the labor cost. If you needed any further attention to the suit itself you should have said and we would have taken care of it for you. However, it would have not been possible to change the style completely. Best regards, Mr. Singh.

There are hundreds of tailors in Bangkok but after doing extensive online research myself and 2 friends searched out several of them before choosing Majestic Tailors. Very knowledgable staff with great material and a huge choice. We highly recommend this fabulous establishment and suggest you call in when in Bangkok!! Be warned, one of us went in for a single shirt and bought 10 shirts and 3 pairs of trousers!!

We have wandered into Mr. Singh’s shop by accident and free will – no cheap sale or pushing inside. Against all odds and beyond expectations we had three suits and three shirts tailored within one day! Indeed that was an exception that Mr.Singh and his team did for us, nonetheless the quality is impeccable, but what was even more impressive and decisive is the level of service, personalized approach, professionalism and attention that we experienced at Majestic Tailors.

Now we are happily wearing our suits, receiving showers of compliments and looking forward to welcoming Mr.Singh’s team in Europe to have more pieces tailored for us!

I first went to Majestic Tailors about 10 years ago on the advice of a friend. I bought a suit and was very happy with the result. I went back in November 2012 to buy another. Mr Singh snr found my previous fitting and order details in a old compendium, which amazed me. As a result, he charged me the same amount as had been charged a decade earlier. This was a significant discout given that that Australian dollar had appreciated significantly in the meantime. I was very happy with the result again, and the value for money was outstanding. It is one of the few tailors in Sukhumvit Road that does not have sleazy touts standing in the street trying to lure in punters. Highly recommended.

Loving my Jackets!

Bought two sports jackets and 1/2 a dozen shirts and the quality of these garments is great. Every once in a while you meet nice people that make the experience of buying positive and the team at Majestic Tailors is just that... Amazing service and quality tailoring

If you are looking for a quality tailor in Bangkok generally or in the Sukhumvit area in particular, you shoud look no further than the Majestic tailors. The Majestic does not go in for 'street hawking' for clothes of poor quality at a ridiculous price, rather they offer quality tailoring at a fair price. The craftsmanship is second to none and the service from all staff is exemplary. I had two ladies shirts made and they are both of the highest quality. The head proprietor Mr G Singh is a most delightful and courteous man. If you are looking for a quality tailor the answer is simple - go to Majestic.

Always a great experience

I have purchased a number of suits, shirts and slacks from this tailor. The service is superb each time. The staff is welcoming and professional. My co-workers are amazed at the quality of the clothing. One of my better decisions was walking into Majestic Tailors.
