Stay at Port Canary Hotel for a layover in BKK Suvarnabhumi. Just follow the crowd and the advice from the staff to this place. Very nice facilities with lots of travelers and locals looking for clean street food.

Scent Spa is a wonderful gem inside Paseo mall. The Spa is very clean and nicely appointed. The massage began with a wonderful foot scrub followed by an excellent massage. Go there if you are looking for an excellent, affordable Thai massage near Bangkok airport.

Paseo Mall is easy to get to from all the Lat Krabang airport stopover hotels. It has a great range of food shops to suit all tastes. The big plus is foreign exchange! You will get a top rate at the money changer there - about half a baht per $ better than any of the banks. There are some nice clothes shops there and market stalls several evenings each week. A great place to go if you have a stopover!

I went to Paseo Mall daily to buy groceries at Tesco Lotus Express and enjoying my meals at MK Restaurants hot pot, KFC, Mac Donalds and Black Canyon Coffee since I am staying at Crystal Suits Hotel 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Paseo Mall is the only mall in Lat Krabang thus I had enjoyed my stay here while waiting for my flight back home.

My hotel was, ' The cottage Suvarnabhumi' chosen for it's close proximity to the Suvarnabhumi airport and Lat Krabang metro but quite accidently/unexpectedly this mall turned out to be only 5 mins walk away and the big attraction/beneficial by-product/result of my hotel choice. The mall has a diverse range of food venues, a supermarket store, a department store, outdoor market stalls, and other goods shops. There was also quite a lot of decoration, water feature, lots of lighting displays, and an inflated dragon on the road side. Lots and lots of big wealthy cars were filling up the parking lot. The restaurant I chose to eat in turned out tasty food. I left feeling satisfied with my discovery.

We visited this mall in the evening in December 2014 as it was only 5 minutes walk from our airport hotel (Crystal Suites). It has lots of nice shops and restaurants, and a very pleasant outdoor area serving drinks with live entertainment.

I had a 4 1/2 hour stop over in Bangkok in the middle of the day. I decided that it would be too risky to go all the way downtown and back... But I really wanted to get out and go somewhere. I had read about this mall and its night market. I knew the night market would not be open but I decided to go check it out anyway. It was a 10 minute drive away.
There was not much to see. It's like a 2 level strip mall. A KFC, a McDonald's, a massage place, a hairstylist, a pet food store, a couple medi spas and a very few women's fashion boutiques that did not appeal to me. There was also a lot of construction. Perhaps a sign that things will get better. I would not go back there again. Within 5 minutes I wanted to go back to the airport.

Located not far from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport it is a reasonable place to buy fast food (Western or Thai) and pick up groceries, phone accessories, jeans or a few T shirts. There is a chemist, fashion and home accessories shops and the usual stalls offering everything from freshly made fruit juice to roasted meat snacks. It opens at 10 am and closes about 10 pm. There are banks, ATM's and places to sit and watch life go by. The is an air conditioned market area of mainly fashion and electronics stalls. You can get decent cotton T shirts from 100-300 baht, I did.

A shopping mall. With lots of outdoor food stalls and restaurants (Thai, Korean, Japanese, Pizza, Steak and Burgers). And an undercover food market with nothing amazing on offer.

Highlight for us was an international food store with many interesting things. Inside, a few clothing, electronics and beauty shops. You could while away an hour or so here on your last night but much better variety and prices further in towards Bangkok.
