Worst massage ever
Mar 2017
I booked the 2,5 hour package and was met by a very friendly receptionist. I was then told to go into the massage room and take off my clothes. My masseuse didn't speak English at all so she mostly communicated by pointing and gesturing. This was a bit stressful as I was unsure what to do. After taking off my clothes I found a towel to wrap around myself before waiting approximately 10 minutes for the masseuse. She came in and pointed to the massage table, at which point I laid down. After a brief cleansing of my feet with a hot towel she began the massage. It was okay and consisted of long stroking motions as opposed to actual pressing and massaging. When I was done she told me to get dressed and go wait in the lobby, which I did, before she came out and said that she had made a mistake, and that I had ten more minutes to go. I therefore undressed again and got a massage for a few more minutes. She said "fini" and left at which point I thought I was done with the whole thing, even though I hadn't gotten my facial yet. I got dressed and went outside only to be rushed back in by the receptionist who said I wasn't done and to get undressed again. The while thing got very confusing at this point. Then the lady who was going to do my facial came in, and suddenly there were three people in the room talking loud in Thai. Not very relaxing. She made me put all of my clothes back on (except for my t-shirt) and then began the facial. The facial itself was fine, but you were supposed to be able to choose between a creme mask and a Thai herb mask, but I was given the cream mask without being asked, which made me break out the next few days seeing as I have very oily skin. When I was done I was very disappointed with how it went, seeing as I got out about 15 minutes before my friend (who I went with) even though my session had been broken up by so many things. Other things to note: my friend was offered a drink and I wasn't, I didn't receive the compress (which was promised), it was freezing in there (around 20-22 degrees Celsius), I broke out afterwards, I wasn't asked which mask I preferred, and my neck and shoulders are still hurting today. My friend who went with me however loved her session so perhaps I was just unlucky.

Good massage but terrible ambience
Oct 2019 • Couples
I’ve been to this Tammachart spa countless times and was very disappointed that the massage experience turned out pretty awful. As skillful as the masseur was, it could not compensate for the very loud whirring noise (coming from a generator?) and the terrible smell (drainage smell that frankly smelled like rotten eggs) in the massage room. I sincerely hope they do something about it. I had actually hoped to book daily massages during my stay at Novotel Siam Square but this happened so..
