Was there on a Saturday morning and expected a kind of floating market.
There have been no boats, just a regular market as you see everywhere in Bangkok.
The way to the market was nice as I walked a bit and then took a Tuc Tuc.
To leave I took a water taxi to Wat Paknam Temple

So many people used to talk about floating markets of Thailand !!! However it was an average experience for me !!! The floating markets shopkeepers try to ooze money out of you !!! You can be fooled easily if you are not smart !!! I recommend just to do the boat ride and do not do any shopping !!!

Loved the experience of the floating market. Lots of sellers with food, ice cream in coconuts, clothes and hats. Its colourful and you must go with the locals for a short boat trip round the canals to experience this place.

Over price. Don't not spend over 2000bht per boat ride or 3000 bht for crocodile , elephant ride per person. Cab drivers will drive you for small price , they get a cut but the entrance price will be expensive.

What a horrible place 2000bhaht per head to sit on a dirty boat and smelly ride. Gosh! Why didn't I read the reviews before going there!
Can't get over the fact that I spend almost 4000k for this nonsense.

This was just disgusting. It's more than an hour out of the city and just gross. There is so much rubbish in the dark murky water and it's a total tourist trap. We could not get out of there fast enough.

This market has long ago ceased being a traditional style floating market. Now its just a trap to help tourists lighten their wallets.
A total waste of time a money.
I'm sure there are better ways to buy fake Luis Vitton

Not a floating market at all. We went on a Wed morning at 10am and almost 90% of the market is closed.
There won’t any boats in the river and just plenty of stalls selling local food and crafts. Small area made up of Temples and residential. Not quite worth the 1 hour trip from central Bangkok.
