With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Nick is a tailoring wizard and the entire customer service experience is excellent. Nick has made the best fitting suits and shirts that I've ever purchased, hands down. The selection of fabrics and the advice on what fits your personal style preferences is terrific, and Nick is patient and responsive to requests. I could not recommend his business more!

I had a fantastic experience at Nicks while in Bangkok. Everything you could ask for is done perfectly. Nick and Amon are professional, helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and have excellent taste and give great advice depending on the customer's needs. The pinnacle of great customer service. Great location as well in Sukhumvit.

NIBH is the best tailor in Bangkok. The service is first class, the quality of the suits and shirts is excellent. I have been a customer there for almost 20 years and can definitely recommend NIBH.

I once heard a colleague that a custom suit from Thailand was £100 but I didn't really like cheap goods so I did a little research and I found that NIBH was the highest rated in Thailand for suits.

I contacted them and as soon as I got the money I ordered a suit and 3 shirts.
I measured myself and gave them my measurements and Nick and Amon being experienced said that a few of my measurements didn't make sense and I had to get myself remeasured so I thank them for that.

My suit has come in fantastic condition and I love the 3 shirts.
The suit is a little big however I did go on a juice diet so it wasn't tight on myself.

Very impressed and with this being a quality fit and fantastic suit I can't see myself ever going back to retail for my clothes.

I was passing this Taylor while our hotel was nearby. After seeing the tripadvisor rating I became curios and stepped in. Since a long time I wanted a tuxedo and I decided to let them do it. I am very happy about the result of the tuxedo and a shirt.

Awesome Tailors when in Bangkok

What a pleasant surprise to find a tailor like this. There are many tailors in Bangkok and there is a lot of hustle to get you in, not so with NIBH. We had two suits made one his and one hers. The choice of materials is huge as is the choice of linings and Chris is always on hand to give advice on cut, cloth and design. Refreshments were constantly on offer as was the AC. We had an initial measuring session followed by two fittings followed by a final fitting. I also had some linen shirts made which are fantastic and good value. A nice gesture and surprise was that they went to the effort of having me a tie and hanky set made from my wife's choice of material to go with my suit and this was done as a gift...awesome guys simply awesome.

Dear Nick, Amon and Team,

I am once again visiting Bangkok for a business trip, and of course I came back for more Suits and Shirts, as they last time fitted so perfectly. From the first step inside the Showroom I was met with a smile, and Nick and Amon remembered my name, even though they must get so many frequent guests coming in. It felt like I just went there weeks ago. I got offered an Indian tea immediately (thank you for remembering), and after a short small-talk we began looking at new fabrics and they suggested me styles based on my bode-shape. I got 2 new Suits and 4 more Shirts during this trip, and I was invited to come for 2 fittings. After the second fitting I was happy with the outcome, and not long after I had my new clothes with me, delivered directly to my Hotel.
I can really not say anything bad about the customer service, quality, or price. I got a good deal once more.
If I should give one little warning, then it would be the Tuk Tuk´s that try to snatch you off the street to drive you to a completely different Tailor. On my first trip to Nick´s International Boutique House I had just an experience like that. If in question where to find the Shop, call the Shop, and they will guide you.

Allow good time for fitting, as you will want to make sure that everything fits well before you leave. During my trips to Bangkok I always make sure to drop by very early during my stay, as I then can try to wear the new Suits a few days and iron out any small issues there may be.

Thank you Nick, Amon and the rest of the team for a great service once more.

I will surely be back, and you can be sure about that I will recommend you to my friends and colleagues, as I often get compliments on my Suits.

Poor choice for women's suits

I decided to try NIBH out, based on the rave reviews online, and because they advertised and featured many women's clothing designs online. I wanted to get 2 suits and some additional trousers made while i was in bangkok. Nick and everyone I met at NIBH were very nice and pleasant. However, things did not go as expected, and the overall experience was very disappointing.

For example, in the first fitting, the trousers had a large weird crease parallel to the zipper on one side - this led to almost a 10-15 minute discussion between the tailors in thai on how to fix it. Frankly, it made me wonder whether the tailors working on my trousers had ever done any pants for women at all, since obviously women don't need a bunch of extra fabric in front of the pelvis! I have never had any such fitting issues come up the last few times I used a Bangkok tailor for women's suits - those pants were always cut to fit a woman, without any weird extra fabric hanging around the zipper or the crotch! I also wanted the pants to cinch in a little at the knees and then flare out ( a very common style for women), but they were almost shapeless and baggy at the first fitting. By the time we did a second fitting at NIBH, the fit for the pants had improved significantly, but again was not perfect - there was now a small crease at the bottom of the zipper, as opposed to the huge one at the first fitting. As a result, part of the front looked a little bit like the creased elastic pants an old person might wear - but the flared shape and the fit at the back looked good. After i flew back to the US, I took the pants NIBH made for me to one of the top local tailors to try to have the front crease fixed, because I did not have time to do more than 2 fittings in Bangkok, and had serious doubts at this point whether NIBH could even do them properly, even if given more time. Unfortunately, i was told they were not really fixable, because the cut of the pants was fundamentally flawed - i.e. they were still cut like men's pants. So at this point, I am stuck with these as is. I also have to say - the fitting process itself was not ideal either. At other tailoring stores, including those i have been to in the US and Thailand, my experience is the fitting is usually a collaborative and interactive process - the tailor works with you on different aspects of fitting for each piece. But here, they just seemed to be standing around and waiting politely. For example, when i was trying out my jacket, towards the very end, I noticed it was creasing in the lower back. I was in a room with 4 expert tailors looking on at the time, and none of them had pointed this out - which I thought was really odd. It made me wonder that if I had not noticed it, would I have ended up with custom jackets that creased in the back? Not a comforting thought….However, the jackets delivered in the end did fit beautifully, so that was a relief.

I hate to leave a negative review, since the people at NIBH seemed so nice, but unfortunately this was a disappointing experience, and I wanted to leave honest and constructive feedback. When it comes to women, they still need to master the basic skills one would expect from a high end boutique tailoring store - I was paying for and expecting services from expert tailors, but I often felt like I was dealing with trainees. The suits I got made at other Bangkok tailors on previous trips, at the end of the day, fit a lot better, the staff were more knowledgeable, and the process had been far more collaborative.

A good review lets us understand the good job that we are doing, but a bad review makes us understand that as hard as we try, we may not be able to fully and completely satisfy all our clients . We are humble in our apologies and regret the inconvenience that may have been caused. Due to your limited time of stay in Bangkok and the fact that your hotel was very far from our store, we were able to give you only two fittings for the clothes. We understand that you were ultimately satisfied with the fit of the jackets. As for the pants,on the second fitting, the fit of the pants were better, and we believe if we had more time we could have resolved the issue as well. Nevertheless we would like to offer you a couple of options in order to help solve the issue. Either you can still try to have the pants altered locally ( if possible), and we will be happy to reimburse you with the cost of alterations or ,another option would be, that we totally remake the pants for you at no extra cost. However in this case we would request you to mail us your good fitting sample pants ( please do not send pants that are made from stretch fabric), so we can simply copy the sizes & style and mail them back to you. For further communication and mailing instructions,we request you to kindly e-mail us directly at info@nibh.com ,and we will respond to them promptly.
