Chin led us today doing on fantastic food tour of Bangkok. We live in Bangkok, so are familiar with the city, but Chin still managed to dish up plenty of new and unexpected places... along with plenty of great. Though our kids are relatively young (7 and 5) the Thai food was well judged for them and they enjoyed it. Tuk Tuk rides and a stop to feed turtles certainly helped! Thanks Chin - we’ll be back

We spent last weekend on a great floating market food tour with Chin. While we tend to visit many places independently, we thought we might get a better experience being with a local. We were right. Chin knows many of the vendors in these local markets. Many were happy to see her again for the first time in months after COVID-19 closures. The entire experience was great. We visited three floating markets, all of which were busy with mostly locals, and took a pleasant boat ride to a coconut sugar factory. We were stuffed by the end of the day and tried a lot more good foods than we would have if we did it in our own. Most importantly, Chin was a great guide. Her English is very good, and she catered the experience to our expectations so well that they were easily surpassed. We would definitely use Chin and Chili Paste Tours in the future. Thank you!

We had a very interesting and informative 6 hours around old Bangkok with Chin. We had a very varied trip with time in a quiet temple away from the tourists, a visit to an award winning hot chilli sauce vendor ( and brought a bottle go the very hot one back for our son), a herbal medicine shop, a street market and the flower market. In addition we ate or drank at two coffee shop, street food stalls, a small restaurant run by a mother and daughter and an ice cream shop. yes we could still walk after all that. We did go to some really interesting places we would not have found by ourselves and this was a great way to spend the last day of our holiday in the far east. Apologies to Chin that is has taken me two weeks to write this.

I booked the Countryside Cooking Class for one full day and my expectations got more than fulfilled. Chin the guide, driver and cook is reliable, just in time and overall she is a food junkie. First she took me to Tha Kha Floating Market, a more intimate market and not yet crowded by a selfie-taking horde of tourists. In her kitchen close to a canal the food orgy got prepared and executed. With the help of 2 assistants she easily managed the food show, cooking and tasting 11 dishes of unexperienced flavours and ingredients. That day I got full stuffed with excellent Thai food, beautifully decorated and worth a Michelin starred restaurant. I just recommend to come and try one day with Chin, a very kind and smiling Chef. By the way thanks for making me try the coconut sugar in a small family managed location, it's delicious and organic. I'll come back.
