Address
Neighborhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

Bought the 60-minute package for my husband as a gift for our 13th anniversary. He was so psyched to have had experienced flying a Boeing 737. We met two of their four instructors and they were very friendly and welcoming. The male instructor (didn't get his name unfortunately) chatted us up while we waited for our turn in the simulator.
Spent THB 7,350 in total - 6,900 for the flight package and 450 for the souvenir photo, which is also essentially buying the rights to take pictures with our own camera (they won't let you take a photo/video unless you get this).
All in all, despite the hefty price tag, we had a great time and a truly memorable experience. It sure beats getting an iPad Air!
TIP: I made the reservation through their Facebook page and they were pretty responsive. From here, you could also download their price list as well as a map to their location. Take BTS Sala Daeng or MRT Si Lom to get to the establishment, though the former is much nearer.

So glad I found this attraction on Tripadvisor. As the other reviewers say it's an amazing experience!
Since I was a kid, I always want to be a pilot. Today, my dream finally comes true here flying the 737 over my hometown. My instructor was great teaching me all the technique and tips.
Flight Experience Bangkok close to BTS Skytrain Saladaeng station. Visitors coming to Bangkok, this is a very special place that you can visit. Highly recommend.

We decided to try this experience with a young scholarship student as a reward for good results. The staff were extremely helpful and professional and the experience is worth every single cent. A genuine simulator and a concise program allows anyone to get a hands on experience of a real flight program. You can buy a DVD of the experience and have your pic immortalized in uniforms. We will repeat this again for sure as there are several packages available. Whoever thought of that idea! WELL DONE! For many aspiring pilots this is the dream of a lifetime.

Want to have the experience of piloting the plane with out actually flying it? Go to this place in Bangkok where they are having Boeing 737 simulator. There are franchisees in many other cities also. I opted for the 60 min. circuit program where I took off from Bangkok Airport and then landed back. my second flight was at London's Heathrow airport. The cockpit of Simulator is exactly like a Boeing 737 and all the controls are exactly like 737. I enjoyed this activity, though it was a little pricey. But I believe this one is still cheaper than in other countries. In the end you have the option of buying the photograph and the DVD of your flight, which again is a very costly affair. I would recommend this to the flight enthusiasts and those who had at some point of time had dreamt of flying the aircraft on their own.

OK, my approach to Flight Experience Bangkok is a bit different from the norm.
Most people want to get a taste of airliner flying. I wanted (and want) a lot more than a taste. When they asked what kind of flight I wanted, I explained that I wanted to learn the 737, really learn it, stick-and-rudder flying, get those skills down solid, and then go from there.
They basically said "We can do this."
At a price that is less than the price at home for dual instruction in a Cessna. In an airplane that is a lot more demanding, in her way, and a lot more rewarding, not to mention a lot more just plain fun.
Understand. I'm 61 years old. I'm too old to consider starting on the road to an airline pilot career. I will probably never actually fly a 737-800. This is likely as close as I can get. AND IT IS *MORE* THAN CLOSE ENOUGH.
This is a full-up, professional, high-fidelity advanced training device, with an advanced visual scene system, an outstanding flight model, a completely functional cockpit, and sound and vibration effects to add to the feeling. It is about as close as you can get to the real airplane without burning jet fuel.
I've flown with five of their pilots now, including their chief pilot. Each flight was different. I've learned from all of them. I've done things I never would have dreamed I could have done.
We have made memories that will last a lifetime. If the night hop from Hong Kong to Macau is the last thing I remember when the trumpet blows for me, I will die content.
Advanced reservation is recommended. They can be very busy, and the schedule full. At the same time, if they can accommodate a walk-in customer, they will. They love flying, and they love to share flying.
I will go back whenever I am in Bangkok.

It's about $200 to do the 60 minute 'City Flyer' experience and it's totally worth it. Why? Because where else can you do something as unique and fun as (virtually) flying a 737? Chose the segments type of flight where you get up to four airports to take off and land in. TIP: chose Cairo airport as one of your four airports and fly low over the pyramids and Sphinx!

I bought the voucher of flight experience for my husband as a gift as my husband really like these kind of stuffs like car, bike and i was thinking why not on air! On the day that we booked in for flight simulation, the staff at reception is very attentive, friendly and polite. The instructor is very professional. Once you try, you will want to go back and try other landing location in the simulation, the situation is different case by case. It's quite new for Thailand and especially for us to spend quite a money for 1 hour experience but I believe it is worth every penny. The sourvenir from them as photo is cool, it is experience that is not easy to find Bangkok.

Having a big passion for aviation and also past experience working in this business this was just an amazing experience. It's hard to describe with words. But if you can imagine something amazing, stunning and overwhelming this would be it! :) Friendly staff just added to the whole atmosphere. Fantastic journey. Kinda glad it's not so close to my country 'cos I thing I would be spending a fortune here :)
P.S.: Somehow TripAdvisors offline Bangkok library/map/guide for smartphones is way off with the location of Flight Experience HQ. The right address is: 1 Convent Rd. | Sibunruang Building, Bangkok 10500, Thailand . Took me 2 trips through Bangkok with taxies and tuk-tuks and several emails and a phone call to get there. Do check the location on map and make sure you have a map for taxi driver. People around there don't tend to know the place. But it the end in was well worth the time! ;)

What age limit restrictions for kids for this activity? Thanks in advance
Written August 8, 2018
Hi!
I am planning to visit Bangkok coming August 2018. Was seeking some detailed experience from someone who tried this.
1. I mean how realistic was it? Does it give you the physical feelings of taking off and landing?
2. If you take a bumpy weather, will you feel some of the short free falls often experienced at air pockets? How about turning sideways or upside down?
3. I understand this is like a passenger plane and not a fighter jet, but can you have some fun like diving and/or trying to crash it? (just for fun :P )
4. And if you don't mind me asking, how much liberty in controlling the plane does it offer? I have seen that there will be a copilot, will h/she allow me full control?
5. The price looks high. How to get promotional prices?

But, I Have never been In August, Only 10 times , From november till March and I can’t answer you!

Hello,
I am planning a trip to Bangkok with my kids, ages 18, 16 and 13. The Flight simulator seems to be a great fun, but I am concerned with the price. Do they have packages for couples? Or only solo experience?
Thank you,
Maria.

Current pricing can be found on their website, under "Packages".
To put it in perspective, the price per hour is less than the cost of a Cessna 150 or 172 training airplane, with instructor, and the 737 is a lot more fun.
