Neighborhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

One of my favorite massage spots in BKK.
Very peaceful environment. Friendly staff. A bit more pricey than other places in the same area (still not pricey). Try the 90 min foot massage!

I recently had a shellac polish and 2 extensions with the removal of my own shellac .
The boss lady asked for payment upfront and charged 1200baht . She was rude and continued talking to her staff in Thái about me.
The only goodness about this establishment is Theo , the lovely nail technician who looked after me . A lovely professional girl whom I felt was embarrassed by her team members. I will not return to Bodyworks . Overpriced and poor customer relations .

I am a beauty therapist and I'm currently living in Thailand, the problem is I don't trust anyone to wax me here so I was really surprised when I went to take care beauty salon is silom complex. I just had my underarms waxed but she did a really good job.. I would trust her to do my legs or brazilian. It's quick aswell. I couldn't find it on trip adviser so I thought I'd recommend it on here! Good luck it's a dime in a dozen to find a good waxer here!

I am a frequent patron of Silom Bodyworks, going there almost each time I travel to Bangkok. So on this trip, I went for my usual 2 hour massage and it was good as it usually is even though the wait can sometimes be long. HOWEVER, my experience was really spoiled this time for reasons I describe below.
This time I went with a friend of mine who speaks fluent Thai. Another customer (a Caucasian foreigner) walked in and enquired about a massage. This customer was wearing high heels so the receptionist asked if she brought sandals, to which the customer responded yes. The receptionist then made a sarcastic and extremely deragotary remark in Thai about the Caucasian customer and a few of her colleagues snickered. My friend was very upset about this. Why would you do that do any customer? As most of the customers who patronize this place are foreign tourists who don't speak Thai, one must wonder how many times this has happened!
Although I was not the target of the disparaging remarks this time, how do I know I won't be the next time? It is such a pity because I think the massage services are fantastic but I refuse to go back to Silom Bodyworks on principle!

This place was near our hotel and looked reputable. A sign in reception/waiting area confirmed this, it read;" No Cellphones, No Alcohol, No loud noise, No sex"! Not cheap by Bangkok standards from what I could see, but still very cheap by Aussie standards. Reception and massage staff were very polite and friendly and it appears to be a newly fitted out and perfectly clean establishment. I had a really good massage ahead of a flight out shortly thereafter.

I usually go to Silom bodyworks for eyelash extensions and used to be very satisfied with the result: very long lasting and natural look. This time I went there and was not quite as satisfied as before: it took much longer to put the eyelashes and they were a bit uneven as well and might have looked 'too natural' with which I mean that they are shorter than my own eyelashes. I paid the bill and then decided to say something about it, not because I wanted money back but just because I wanted to tell them I was disapointed so they would know. The lady I was speaking to responded in a very rude way. She said: well this is natural!! I told her that I understood that and I had been there several times before and that it looked more even and in general better. Then she started telling me: well this is natural, maybe you don't speak english very well!!! I felt very insulted at her words and told her that it was unacceptable the way she was speaking to me and that I would not ever go back there again. When I walked out she screamed at me: I am sorry, this is natural! So I got to say they do have good products, but the way that lady treated me was so customer-unfriendly that I will not consider going there again (even though I visited many times before and I visit Bangkok on a regular basis).

Staffs attitude were very bad especially when I walked in and gave me such bad attitude shoving me the menu and it's just all bad. When I just want to stand up and adjust my shirt one girl shouted at me to SIT DOWN WAIT A MOMENT! with a very nasty face, and she rolled her eyes on me. I was absolutely shocked to the core. Did a 90 mins foot massage. In the beginning the masseuse was literally not massaging, rather like brushing my feet. I told her pls be a little bit harder and she became so strong and rough on my feet it hurts. There's no in between. rooms were freezing cold. And when I'm done and went down to pay, they became all smiley and doing polite Thai hand gestures and everything changed. I guess because they wanted tips badly.

Good pedicure but staff are surly and talk about their customers, assuming that farang don't speak Thai, so you may have to deal with a constant conversation and people tittering and looking at you guiltily the whole time. Since this has happened several times when I've gone to Silom body works, and since there was nothing so extraordinary about me to inspire a conversation, I think it's just a bad vibe thing on the part of the staff.
You'll get a good enough pedicure, better than in the Bossotel Spa down on Charoen Krong, but be ready for surly and contemptuous staff if you're a westerner.

On our last day in Bangkok my partner and I wanted some much needed pampering, our first choice of spa was fully booked, so our hotel recommended this place.
The spa itself isn't anything special, the lady on the front of house was honest especially when we asked her about the difference between the Swedish and the ayurvedic massage she just simply said "don't worry about the name it's both the same". We decided to go for a two hour sports massage followed by an hour foot reflexology session. The room we had our massage was clean. We picked the lavender oil which you couldn't really smell. Our masseuses were fantastic really professional and knew exactly what they were doing. We felt fantastic after our massage. It was only 3200 baht for both of us for three blissful hours. High recommend this place, it doesn't have the usual bells and whistles but it definitely does the job!

I went there for a half leg waxing. First I asked the lady if she could offer a discount if taking waxing + 1 hour massage + manicure but she said no.
Then, 2 ladies asked me to come and sit down on a chair, the same as for foot massage or pedicure, and they started to wax, one on each leg and turning my leg to do Under the calf, snatching wax stripes in all different directions and asking me if I stll saw some hair left!
Job finished in less than 10 minutes, legs itching for more than 10 minutes.
When paying, I said to the manager that for that price I was excepting something much better, she just didn't understand anthing.
Hopefully she didn't make any discoute because after that I would not have stay for manicure and massage...
