About
ASIATIQUE The Riverfront is an open-air mall that offers a dynamic combo of shopping, dining, sightseeing, and events—with scenic river views to boot. Here, you can pop into a large variety of shops selling clothes, souvenirs, bags, and more; sample authentic Thai cuisine at the night market; enjoy live music performances; and take a ride on the ferris wheel or carousel. You can even catch the Calypso cabaret and watch a Muay Thai fight. It’s best to get here via the free daily shuttle boat from Pier Sathorn as taxis and tuktuks (Thailand's three-wheeled open-air vehicles) encounter frequent traffic jams. – Tripadvisor

Nice for a mooch and food
Great place with good atmosphere. We got there a little early (around 4pm) and it was only starting to open up. The market stalls are good, nice variety and lots of places to eat and drink. Still lots of shops closed/never opened but I’m sure that will change over time. Worth a look 👍🏻

The Ferris wheel was very enjoyable with views of the city and the river. The market was not crowded and the few food stalls that were open offered seafood dishes. However it is not serviced by BTS Skytrain or MRT Metro, only very old public buses, which took ages in the slow traffic.

I visited because I was staying nearby. I'm glad I didn't go out of my way to visit because I found it extremely boring. 50% of the shops are closed (I went on a Friday evening). The food looked good, but nothing notable compared to how much good eating there is for food stalls and restaurants in the neighborhood. If you're looking for a cleaned up, cookie-cutter version of BKK market this is for you. Otherwise I say don't bother.

A good and clean place for tourists to eat , visit and shop!
The place you must see in Bangkok in my opinion. Here was more clean and quiet in comparison with busy streets of Bangkok. I think it has been designed for tourists. So many shops good items for shopping with good prices. Also there are some big tourist boat becoming restaurants beside the river. I ate in a very good restaurant beside the river call happy fish with a good quality food and reasonable price. I recommend it to you. Especially I recommend to eat fish here. In total i m so happy to visit this place.

Cool place avoid Sail to the Moon restaurant
Cool place, not quite finished yet but has a great atmosphere. Avoid Sail to the Moon restaurant. If it looks like sick, smells like sick and tastes like sick, it will probably make you sick. True to form, the stir fried squid in ‘yellow sauce’ did just that. Sail to the moon impressively, simultaneously took the prize for most expensive and naffest food we had in Thailand, with the cheapest local beer (Chang) priced at a point that would make a craft ale producer in central London blush. However there was a superb photoshop job done on the chicken wings on the menu to make them look an acceptable size. The setting is great and there are shops, music and other eateries to enjoy. Just pick your restaurant wisely.

    Truly entertained !
River ferries or the free Asiatique river ferries make it simple to reach. lots of food and shopping. There are a ton of food options. Ferris wheels, boxing, Thai shows. At night, the area comes alive. absolutely worthwhile to visit.

Great place to spend the evening
Fantastic place to shop, eat or just hang out. Things are a bit expensive than central Bangkok. Lots of food options. Easily one can spend 2-3 hours. BTS station is not walkable distance. Worth visiting.

Asiatique The Riverfront - a good place to shop and relax in Bangkok
Asiatique The Riverfront is the perfect place to combine shopping and relaxation in Bangkok. It is located in the Wat Phraya Krai sub-district of the Bang Kho Laem district. Shops and restaurants provide opportunities to find something for yourself and enjoy delicious meals, and there are many of them. Entertainment and artistic attractions were also taken care of. All this makes this place perfect for everyone, regardless of age. I had the opportunity to go there and the visit turned out to be a pleasure.

    Beautiful
I would definitely come back to Asiatique the Riverfront time and again. There's always something fun and new to check out. Simply enjoy a leisurely walk and you don't even need to buy anything. Grab a good meal for dinner, watch the sunset, go on a calmer ride at the Grand Carousel and call it a day. The asiatique sky is high 60m. The ticket is THB500. You will admire the beauty of Bangkok night around 10-15 mins. The easiest and most comfortable way to get there is by taking the free boat that leaves from the Saphan Taksin dock. From there it's just 10 minutes down the river, and the boat runs from 5 pm to 11:30 pm, every 15 minutes. Another option is to take a taxi or tuk tuk, but it would take longer.

We visited ASIATIQUE the day after it had re-opened, after being closed due to the covid situation & found it to be very quiet, with quite a few shops closed. I'm not sure if this will change in the coming Months, i imagine it may be quite some time, before things return to normal.
There are plenty of restaurants, ranging from the food court (which wasn't too badly priced) all the way up to much more expensive options. Also various clothes & accessories shops.
We decided to have a ride on the asiatique-sky ferris wheel, as they were offering a reopening discount of 50%. From 60M up, at the top of the wheel, you have decent views of the River & also the Sirimahannop, which is berthed here. This is a new addition to the Chao Phraya River & is a large 3 masted sailing ship & very impressive to look at.
Whilst we were there, there was a free Chang music festival/concert on, which we thoroughly enjoyed, even if the weather was horrendous with torrential rain.
Would be interesting to revisit, when things are back to normal & get a comparison to how it was when we visited.

This place is next to the Chao Phraya River. Has a very beautiful view Especially at night with beautiful lights, good weather, not too hot
Here there is a restaurant to sit and chill. There is an amusement park. Which I like very much Not really have a chance to travel like this Although traveling to this place Will be a little difficult But after receiving it, it is worth it.

Thailand may be undergoing a downturn in Chinese visitors, as well as many others, at the moment but it is certainly making places like Asiatique a lot more accessible. No more long snakes of tourists being dragged around by tour guides. Now, one can take ones time and look at individual shops and booths, take the time to barter with owners and get a table at a restaurant without a half hour wait. Every cloud, as they say, has a silver lining...

Extremely lively with heavy traffic flowing in and out, we were surprised by all of the shops we encountered. Naturally, I did leave Asiatique with gifts for loved ones as well as travel and cosmetic bags for myself. Restaurants plus inexpensive food stalls near the river, fellow travelers stated that their traditional and inexpensive meals purchased at stalls near the river the evening before, were unfortunately not open when they returned the next evening. We were lodging at the nearby Ramada Plaza, and walked from there with a group of fellow travelers. It was a fun evening out at a busy location with lots of neon lighting. Upbeat, clean, safe, stimulating. What we saw was more of a traditional mall shopping center.

Asiatique riverfront is a must go for shopping and fun evening. The place has lots of eateries, mini shopping stalls. The most attractive thing is Thailand's largest Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel ride is for 1000THB per person and is for around 15-20 minutes. From the top, it gives a beautiful view of the lit riverfront and the Asiatique market below. There are live boxing matches going on as well. You should definitely try some of the ice creams they sell here at stalls.
Asiatique is a market develop for tourists in Thailand. Because it is for tourists the prices are little above what you can find in weekend markets. There is lot of street food available outside the Aisatique which is good to try. But it definitely deserves a visit.
You can reach here by cab or take tuk tuk ride from the nearest station.

The Asiatique is very touristy. Tourists were everywhere and you can find lots of souvenirs, food, drinks, and even massages.

Prices are expensive (we had a dinner at Fire & Dine and prices came up to be 1500 baht for 3 - inclusive of 2 beers) & portions are small.

Overall , good place to take some photos and to spend a couple of hours.

We found many variants of food, staring from street food until hi-end resto or cafe. The price is moderate expensive. You will pay 200-300 bath per item.

Don’t forget try crocodile meat, it was delicious and very temptation.

Try also Thai Beer, I love it!!

Bars, restaurants, shops, rides and shows all in the same place. Great place to spend some time. We took in the show at the Calypso Cabaret, had a few drinks next to the river and ate at a lovely little restaurant all for the right price. Lots of cheap taxis run from here too.

This trip was a bit disappointing because there was not much to do there except ride the big wheel, which was very expensive. The shopping in the market is overpriced and it is unbearably hot inside. Not much selection of food and ice cream vendors were open but were sold out on almost everything. A wasted trip

In fact, this is a modern night market that is neatly arranged according to the needs category. Starting from food, clothing, jewelry and various necessities are available here. It is similar to other Night Markets in Bangkok, the difference is that it is built more organized and modern. Prices here are more expensive than most night markets in Bangkok. Same thing but the price is a bit more because the rent is quite expensive. It is up to you to choose.
