This is definitely one of the must do's when you are in Bangkok. I am surprised how it does not appear in the itinerary of many of the travel sites. But since I prefer doing my research on my own, I knew that this place...More

A fabulous night F&B and retail hub located directly on the river. Many restaurants catering both Thai and Western menus. The river is beautiful and breezy in the evening, so book the Baan restaurant's river boat dinner. 2 hours of serene music, excellent fresh meal,...More

Most of the old chaotic night markets that used to be quite fun and wild (apart from Patpong) have since closed down which is a shame, so in their place we now have the Asiatique market on the banks of the Chao Praya river.
This is a really good place to go and spend a few hours doing some shopping as well as to dine there. They do have a shuttle boat ride near the Saphan Taksin BTS station. There is also a ferries wheel of you want to...More

Sounds good and very similar to what we did a few weeks ago. We also had a 30 min foot massage at Wat Pho - as the main massage school is within the grounds. The free 10-15 min boat to Asiatique is actually from Sathorn Pier, which is next to the Saphan Taksin BTS station. If you want to do any of the shows (lady boy show or boxing show) there in the evening then perhaps pre-book them.
