Overview
On this historical tour around the most impressive temples of Bangkok your private guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in the morning. The first to visit temple on this day is Wat traimit temple. The 5 ton pure golden Buddha statue in this temple was once lost but by accident recovered again. Then continue to big reclining Buddha at Wat Pho where you will see the first Thai massage school and university in Thailand. If you like you can also get a 30 minute massage here (pay extra on spot). then time for lunch at one of the nice and local restaurants nearby the river.

After lunch you'll visit the Grand Palace and the temple with the emerald Buddha statue that is so much revered by all Thai people. The last temple today will be Golden Mount and Wat Suthat temple for stunning views over the city.

After much research we booked our 2 day tour with Thai Sabai and we are so pleased we did. The correspondence and payment invoicing was prompt and professional by Olaf and Angmo. Our driver was at the terminal waiting for us and drove us directly to Ayutthaya, stopping to pick up our lovely guide, Soo, on the way. The van was immaculate and cool, and we were provided with cold water and towels. Soo was friendly, interesting, knowledgable, and helpful with local customs, etc. After seeing all we wanted to at Ayuthaya Soo suggested a local restaurant for lunch and we discussed our plans for the afternoon and evening. We were dropped to our hotel and collected again the next morning for our day around Bangkok. Soo and our driver, Tink, planned our day from the sights we asked to see in the best way and kept us informed throughout the day. We had the most amazing Thai lunch at a restaurant that Soo has been dining at since her childhood and which recently received a Michelin star. The prices were very reasonable. Soo was great with our children, aged 11 & 12, and ensured their enjoyment was balanced with the cultural sights. The tour was very flexible and meant we could spend as much or as little time at each attraction as we wanted to, although Soo did ensure we were aware how much time would be required for the remaining attractions on our list. We were delivered back to the cruise in comfortable time. We would highly recommend this tour as without Soo and Tink we would not have appreciated the attractions as much, nor experienced the local interaction that makes travel special. Thank you Soo, Tink, Angmo and Olaf

I had only one day to spend in exotic Bangkok. I hired a driver and tour guide from Tahi Sabai Life. It was a very smart move! The drive really knew his way around. The tour guide spoke perfect English and was fantastic in her knowledge of all the sites we visited. They were so good we visited more sites than those on my list. We even had time for a very devious buffet lunch at the Shangri La Hotel along the beautiful river. The city was freshly cleaned and painted as the new King was being crowned the following week. Bangkok is a great place to visit but with traffic to rival Los Angeles. No doubt the best way to see it is with this company's staff.

We booked a tour to the train market and the floating market. It was a very interesting trip and the friendly nature of our guide Penny was very pleasant. We thank her for an unforgettable day in Bangkok!

Our first visit to Krung Thep (Bangkok)! Without Tommy’s insights and personal anecdotes it would still only be a maze of innumerable temples, traffic, and street food. Instead we have learned something about the identity and feeling of Thais, something which is impossible to grasp at first glance without help. We’re truly grateful for having met such a friendly, open, and thoughtful person and recommend him to anyone looking to see Bangkok through local, honest eyes.

If you're visiting Bangkok for a day, you couldn't do better than by hiring Tommy. He is a fantastic guide to all of the things in Bangkok that you wouldn't otherwise see, especially if you are looking to get away from the usual circuits with massive tour buses everywhere. He took us on a street food tour to places that everyday Thais go to (not just tourists), with indescribably delicious foods. Oftentimes we were the only tourists there!
