The area
Address
Neighborhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

Health land is the McDonalds or spa, quick service but lacks personalisation and attention to the customers.
Every time I go there the whole process of paying and waiting for the turn reminds me of the fast food service.

There is nothing special about the service, these days it’s gotten worse with the service

Best massage I have EVER had!
Nov 2019
This place very organized and clean. The staff was very friendly and we were so surprised that with the prices being so budget friendly, the quality of the rooms and massage therapists was just top notch. The spa is spacious, with a lobby, massage rooms and a gift shop for tea and scents. My only issue was that I was not able to purchase the bael fruit tea that was served after our massage. It was so delicious! Back to the massage lol. We opted for the couple massage and we felt so relaxed and comfortable the entire time, we both ended up falling asleep! We even had friends that came with us for their own couple massage and we all wanted to go back again! Stop by this place on your visit!

GREAT Thai Massage in Bangkok!
Dec 2019
We came here last December after we had our first Thai massage at Wat Pho. This place was highly recommended by our tour guide so my husband and I decided to give it a try. They have several branches. We went to their Satborn branch because it was close to the skytrain’s Surasak Station.

Although we didn’t have any appointment, the receptionist took us right away. We had a 2-hr Traditional Thai Massage and it only costs 600 Baht ($19) pp. We requested a couple’s massage and they put us in a private room. The room was very quiet with no music, which was bit weird, but it was clean. We got two sets of kimono-like outfits to change.

Our masseuses were both very skillful and experienced. For two hours, they didn’t speak much but just pulled and stretched our bodies in silence. My masseuse was very petite, but she has the strength of gorilla! Just when I was about to yelp in pain, she would release her grip. Strange as it may sound, I felt pretty good afterwards!

One of the reasons why we wanted to come here was because my husband got backache from sitting too long on the tour buses. His masseuse expertly removed all the tightness from his back and he was able to walk out without any pain. We were impressed! This place offers other spa treatments – all very affordable. They take credit card but we tipped in USD because we ran out of Baht. We definitely want to come back to Bangkok and spend more time here!

Do not go there, absolute mess!
Jan 2020 • Couples
Big mess there, everyone shouting, unprofessional staff. Paid for 2 hrs foot massage, 1hr for me, 1 hr for my husband, and 1 hr for therapeutic massage for my husband. Received 40 min each foot massage, never received therapeutic as at our booked slot some other customer was taken. And we did foot reflexology just to time pass as therapeutic was available only in 1 hr!!!
Rooms are freezing cold with ac blowing very strong.
To be fare, we were given back money for therapeutic session.
Over all disappointing experience, will NOT suggest this place.

Best Massage Ever
Dec 2019
We prebooked the spa the day before and used a Klook discount to pay for it, even though we were 1 hour early, they accommodated.

My friend took the herbal compress while I took the aromatherapy one, I have to admit, after the whole day of walking around the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, it was a welcome respite.

I appreciate that they asked us to shower before the spa (not many spas do that), and that they ensure our modesty is in check all the time, only uncovering the part they need to massage. The temperature in the room is also perfect.

I had Gao as my masseuse and she didn't say a word during the massage but was sensitive to note when I did not feel comfortable and adjusted her strokes accordingly. She was even surprised I handed her a tip afterwards.

I'd come back definitely!

Poor service, feels like a factory
Dec 2019 • Friends
We booked in advance, and arrived 5 mins earlier, the greeting team has no smile at all, just tell us to pay first and wait.

We waited for 20 mins and checked several times, they just tell us to wait, after 20 mins of waiting and still no sign of progress, they just said, we are fully booked, so if you don’t want to wait, just cancel.

But they are still keep getting people to pay at the counter, is really bad service, felt like walk in a factory instead of a spa.

Glad we decided to leave, nothing relaxing or healthy about that place.

Very dis-interested massage staff who insist on being tipped
Nov 2019 • Business
I am a regular visitor of Health Land whenever I travel to Bangkok for work (more than 4 times a year) and would usually have traditional Thai massage. I visited Health Land again in November 2019, and while the ambience of Health Land is excellent as always, their staff at reception were curt and rude when I asked for assistance to schedule a massage in advance.

Be that as it may, when the actual massage was done, the masseuse's strokes were essentially light touch and weak. I could see they took a very transactional and dis-interested attitude towards providing the massage. To cap things off, while I have no problem tipping if the occasion calls for it such as receiving a good service / attitude, the dis-interested masseuse still had the tongue in cheek to insist on receiving a tip. It was a lousy experience. There are many other professional massage providers in Bangkok, so it's unfortunate that health land's standards have dropped so much.

Good value for money
Nov 2019 • Couples
Do book in advance if you are planning to do a massage on a weekend. They get really busy! Very good value (BHT600 for 2 hours) and the masseuses we had were good!

Great massage
Nov 2019
It is located along the North Sathon main road, next to the Embassy of Myanmar. If you are coming by BTS, Surasak station is just 10 min away. Health Land Sathon is a 3 floors villa with ample of parking spaces.

I have been to Healthland on and off for 10 years as it has been my go-to place for Thai Massage. It has several locations and the service and techniques have been consistent - make it convenient for travellers who are short with time to explore the millions massage establishment in the cities. I have successfully get a walk in appointment but then I have avoided the peak hours and weekend.

The interior decoration was nice but the wall in very thin. Try to avoid the rooms which are next to the store room/bathroom as you will hear constant noise from the staffs.
