About
One of the largest and most atmospheric night markets in the city, Ratchada Night Bazaar makes a great alternative to boozy Bangkok nights. Arrive around midnight to see it in full swing, when it will be bustling with locals and full to bursting with vintage knickknacks, quirky clothing and cute accessories. As you’d expect from a Bangkok market, you’ll find everything from retro cars to jewelery to furniture, books and baby rabbits.

The current One Ratchada night market is so different from the one located in the same location years ago. The current is like a dead town, even on a Saturday night, with so many of the stores closed. The eateries are also empty and the night market looks dismal. Hope more stalls will start operating soon and bring back the crowds to the levels from its heydays.

Although I have never visited in its heyday, I went to both Jodds fair and Ratchada during my visit January 2023 and in my opinion, Ratchada was by far the better place. Why? So, much room to walk around and far more places to sit down and eat. I had my first bucket seafood experience here too and although, I don’t know the name of restaurant, it was perfectly cooked and the calamari was to die for.

I found jodds fair to be too over hyped and crowded and wasn’t a nice experience.

This market has zero interest. It's a tourist trap with boring shopping stands. They all sell the same thing and it all caters to tourists. It's a shame that traditional Thai markets disappear and instead you get those markets with food for tourists and souvenir stands. A complete waste of time!

This is my favorite night market so far. There is a very nice vibe. There are a lot of stalls for seafood and nice things to eat. I recommend to eat at the crowded place, as a sign of good quality. There are not many tourists so you'll have to follow the locals. However I had an amazing grilled fish. There are some cool bars at one end too. Really nice place! Kind of ruined all the others night market for me.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. Lots of locals. Awesome food. Not much in the way of shopping. But the food defiantly made up for that. Caught the train - so easy

A huge night market in Bangkok. Lots of stuff available. Souvenirs, food, seafood, cloths, bags, accessories etc. For those who love to drink and night life. This is a nice place. Food mostly non halal. A nice place to explore especially for non muslim. Price reasonable but try to negotiate.
A very crowded area. However, searching for halal food a bit tough here.

The market is full of food, clothes and accessories. But it’s over crowded with people and the seafood platter is a bit pricey. The view was however amazing. But need to beware of the stall owner as they play some dirty tricks. I was at a spectacle stall in the middle of the market, which locate opposite of a bar and next to a shop that sell socks. The stall was empty during the whole incident and the stall owner is around 30-ish. I had my eye on one of the spectacle that’s 160Baht, and I paid her 200Baht and left with a 40Baht change. Later I return to the stall in 1 minuets as my brother wants a spectacle for him too. And the shop owner decided to give me a discount where I get two spectacles for 300Baht, so that means I just need to pay another 140Baht. But she started to argue with me that I didn’t pay for mine(the one that I bought initially), and the argument lasted for 20 minutes until she took away my spectacle that I paid for and chased me away. I went back in 3 minutes with the 40Baht change in my hand and got the thing that I paid for in the end. The worst experience ever for this trip, and it really ruined my day. A gentle reminder if your visiting the night market, always keep a record of paying to prevent this incident from happening.

Good view from the parking lot of the shopping mall, a well-arranged market many handicraft items, tons of clothes, many stalls that provide nail service and sell a variety of food include pub.

1.Ice blended fruit
Many people are attracted by the stall owner and wanted to buy a drink from her to support her, but honestly, the ice blended drink is just fancy and not nice at all.

2.Seafood with Noodles
Tons of fresh seafood in it, a tasty soup which contains the essence of seafood. Nothing much to say, just try and u will know. (This dish is a little bit spicy)

3.Banana Chocolate Roti Canai
I won't recommend u guys the have this, I prefer Malaysia's roti canai which serves with curry. Btw it is fully filled with condensed milk which causes the dish too sweet.

This night market is huge and the food is great. Seek out the Leng! It can get a bit crowded so about the weekend of you can. If you want to go to a single place to try the most food though, this is it.

This night market is comparatively big with many restaurants and shops. It is easy to go by MRT. I have spent one night to have dinner and window shopping and another night to have dinner only
