Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it, Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for a good price. After a day of shopping and strolling around, the lush green lanes of Chatuchak Park are a welcome relief.

- PKNBangkok, Thailand1,841 contributionsCompact IT mallGood to browse thru this compact IT mall if you have time in Bangkok. They have many things from mobile phones, gadgets, digital camera ,computers and all peripherals. From intl brands to Chinese brands, from lowest to high price, you can choose. But if you travel with kids it’s may be a little bit difficult because there’re no space for them at all.Visited January 2020Traveled with familyWritten December 31, 2019
- Teetee10 contributionsA huge mall to go buy IT stuffs mostly imported from China. From mobile phones to all kinds of gadgets. The place is huge, been there for many decades and is like 3 malls in one. 1. Tesco Lotus Supermarket (3 floors) 2. IT Mall about 3 floors with everything you need from phones, cameras and accessories. This is the main part of the mall. Lots of eateries on the first floor from KFC, Chester’s Grill to local fast foods and has 3 food courts! (Basement floor is packed with street foods and massage services!) 3. I received superb service at ASUS Service Center there. But the mall itself has a huge selection of IT,cameras etc. Later I have been here to have battery changes of watches etc. I find it a very good mall for everything with electronics. There are also a lot of eating places etc.Visited January 2020Written January 16, 2020
- MeanderBangkok, Thailand1 contributionAM Solution Service (Unprofessional IT repair shop)Store is on 3rd floor. PC finish repair but technician did not put screws back on before you pick up PC. I did not check the screws since I assumed it was there already but most of it was missing by the time I take a look at home. I have called back and asked for screws but technician said it was already installed. Thermal Paste seem to applied sloppily. Power brick testing failed but it working fine when plug after service. Price is ok (3000+) to replace broken PC part. If anyone want to use this store service, please take a photo and video of everything before you send any device to repair. Check everything thoroughly so that you don't lose anything like me before you put in your bag after service.Visited June 2022Written July 16, 2022

Quite a few shops available on 2nd floor. Purchased from ZoomCamera, they have nice range of lenses. Very clean and organized mall and less crowded than Pantip plaza or MBK. Better quality electronic items, camera & accessories, Mobile phones, PS3/4, games and many more. The only place in Bangkok I have visited where you can buy original JBL speakers. Must visit if you're an IT fanatic.

A long-time user of Pantip Mall with my favourite vendors, etc., I am now a converted Fortune IT Mall fan!
Today was my first visit by necessity - my laptop would not turn on this morning so I needed a computer repair or at least a quick solution to accessing my data - and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Fortune IT Mall is brighter, cleaner and in general friendlier than Pantip. It's easy to access from the MRT (subway) and as other comments have indicated, there is an excellent camera selection (mostly 2/F), all kinds of Electronics and Computer items/ accessories, a huge Tesco, restaurants, etc.
One shop which couldn't help with my particular issue actually suggested another shop (no connection) and the second solved my issues in less than an hour!
PC Service - 4/Floor - run by Mr. Lek (Khun Lek) was outstanding. 4R32 from 11:00 to 20:00. He assessed the issue on the spot and not only solved the problem but volunteered to improve the speed at NO charge! I needed a part that his shop didn't sell and he recommended me to another shop (Amorn), again for no compensation. He and most of his staff speak good English - another big positive.
If you are in Bangkok with Laptop / Computer / Notebook or Printer issues, I highly recommend this shop and mall.

Hey gang, maybe its just me but I went to PC service in Fortune Town mall took four laptops in to have small work done. 2 were brand new and just needed software, one was 8 moths old, and had the wiz kids at Adobe delete files and screw it up, the fourth I wanted wiped clean and restored to factory settings. All were in working order. I left them with PC Service only to get a phone call an hour later telling all the hard drives were broken, yep all four , even the 2 brand new computers ( both Dells)......I raced back to the shop, grabbed my computers turned them on and tested them, hard drives all were in perfect working condition. Took my computer far away from those guys.

At Fortune, there are a lot of vendors. It seems that you are looking for some specific parts. Maybe you should visit this place once and asked from the sellers. You may get more idea. Sorry, my question didn't help much but truely some seller only know how to sell, while some know what they sell.

Hi Derek...The shop or Nick that you're looking for...just find-out from the Fortune Town directions should be on top floor 3rd or 4th. There's many repair shops and technician guys on that floor. I send my PC to one of the shops before..that much I could do

I'd prefer to visit Fortune Town in Ratchada. It's faster and you find several camera shops who will help you in case your card was damaged. They have good software to pull out all your holidays photos. Panthip Plaze is nowadays more or less out in many reliable services what they had years ago.

I suggest you go to the MRT Station nearest you, then take an MRT to the Phra Ram 9 Station. From there look or ask around for the Exit that will take you to the Fortune Town IT Mall ...

iPads and iPad minis are not cheaper in Bangkok compared to any western country. In fact all electronic gadgets are in general cheaper in other developed countries. However, accessories for the same are generally cheaper with wide selection to be found in MBK, Pantip plaza or Fortune Mall.
