Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it, Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for a good price. After a day of shopping and strolling around, the lush green lanes of Chatuchak Park are a welcome relief.

We came here after visiting Central rama 9, via the underground passage way @B2 mrt Station.
We didn't know it is an IT mall. When we came here, there was a mini fair on exortic animal on spiders, tortoise etc.
Nonetheless, we just stay a short while n proceed to Johb Fairs which is just 7mins walking distance away.

Great place if you are in the market for any photographic gear, techie stuff and vinyl, as well as getting laptops/phones etc repaired. Also has a supermarket on the ground floor and across the road a standard mall in case you need to spend time while waiting for your gear to be fixed. Right outside Phra Ram 9 MRT station. They really tried their best to get my iPad fixed, but would have needed more time. So go there as soon as you arrive to give them maximum time. No fix, no pay system which was great.

If you're in Bangkok and are looking for anything electronic, chances are you'll find it here. There ars several floors and it kind of follows a layout or pattern. With cameras and tripods/stands, SD cards, lamps etc together on one floor
Then the cellphones and every accessory you can think of like cables, power banks and way more.
Laptops, desktops, computer chairs are all together. And then the rest like USV fans, robots, speakers and all other tech stuff.
You can also get reputable repair work done on the top floor without fear of being scammed
If you need to know which specific unit to go to, you can ask the information desk
7 Ratchadaphisek Rd, Din Daeng, Bangkok 10400

My experience with AM Solution Service at Fortune Tower, Bangkok was a complete disaster. I paid for a main board repair on my phone, but it still wouldn't start afterward. They made me wait endlessly, giving excuses and false promises for a month. Eventually, they admitted they couldn't fix it, only refunding the camera repair cost, which was caused by the initial motherboard issue they failed to resolve. Their customer service was appalling, with rude staff and no responsiveness. Stay away from this shop at all costs.

Store is on 3rd floor. PC finish repair but technician did not put screws back on before you pick up PC. I did not check the screws since I assumed it was there already but most of it was missing by the time I take a look at home. I have called back and asked for screws but technician said it was already installed.
Thermal Paste seem to applied sloppily.
Power brick testing failed but it working fine when plug after service.
Price is ok (3000+) to replace broken PC part.
If anyone want to use this store service, please take a photo and video of everything before you send any device to repair. Check everything thoroughly so that you don't lose anything like me before you put in your bag after service.

This is the place to go to if you need help to repair your computer or camera equipment. There are also several shops selling accessories such as camera lights, handphones and the peripherals. For audiophiles, there are sound systems and vinyls too, as well as a couple of shops selling musical equipment like guitars.
There is also a huge Lotus supermarket in the basement, as well as a foodcourt and several eateries and bakeries. You can pair the visit here with your trip to Jodd Fairs and Central Rama across the road.

The place is huge, been there for many decades and is like 3 malls in one.
1. Tesco Lotus Supermarket (3 floors)
2. IT Mall about 3 floors with everything you need from phones, cameras and accessories. This is the main part of the mall. Lots of eateries on the first floor from KFC, Chester’s Grill to local fast foods and has 3 food courts!
(Basement floor is packed with street foods and massage services!)
3. Grand Mercure hotel

Good to browse thru this compact IT mall if you have time in Bangkok. They have many things from mobile phones, gadgets, digital camera ,computers and all peripherals. From intl brands to Chinese brands, from lowest to high price, you can choose.
But if you travel with kids it’s may be a little bit difficult because there’re no space for them at all.

I went there for the first time because I needed a spare part to my ASUS, and ASUS Service center is situated here. I received superb service at ASUS Service Center there. But the mall itself has a huge selection of IT,cameras etc. Later I have been here to have battery changes of watches etc. I find it a very good mall for everything with electronics. There are also a lot of eating places etc.

It’s a nice mall. Clean and organized. The problem is no one was there and nothing looked interesting or enticing. It’s like totally boring. Prices weren’t great and neither was selection. Nothing compared to MBK !

At Fortune, there are a lot of vendors. It seems that you are looking for some specific parts. Maybe you should visit this place once and asked from the sellers. You may get more idea. Sorry, my question didn't help much but truely some seller only know how to sell, while some know what they sell.

Hi Derek...The shop or Nick that you're looking for...just find-out from the Fortune Town directions should be on top floor 3rd or 4th. There's many repair shops and technician guys on that floor. I send my PC to one of the shops before..that much I could do

Where would I go to see if I can retrieve images from a memory card?
Written December 21, 2016
I'd prefer to visit Fortune Town in Ratchada. It's faster and you find several camera shops who will help you in case your card was damaged. They have good software to pull out all your holidays photos. Panthip Plaze is nowadays more or less out in many reliable services what they had years ago.

I suggest you go to the MRT Station nearest you, then take an MRT to the Phra Ram 9 Station. From there look or ask around for the Exit that will take you to the Fortune Town IT Mall ...

Can anyone please tell me if iPads and iPad minis are cheaper. Any suggestions on best place to buy?
Written February 13, 2015
iPads and iPad minis are not cheaper in Bangkok compared to any western country. In fact all electronic gadgets are in general cheaper in other developed countries. However, accessories for the same are generally cheaper with wide selection to be found in MBK, Pantip plaza or Fortune Mall.
