Decided to try out this place as it's close to where I live and near the BTS Asoke stop. I always thought it looked nice from the outside and there were never any girls out front trying to get you to come in. I wish I had paid more attention to the prices listed though. Turns out this massage place... More

Experienced a wonderful 1 hour foot massage here with a masseuse who really knew what she was doing. She gave me a foot massage with strong pressure but with perfect technique which had me feeling the after affects well after the massage. Bang On was her name and I would not hesitate in going back in the future for the... More

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a nice place to go that was close by our guest house before our long night flight home. We came across the alley with their sign popping out. We saw the 20% off sign before 2pm and decided to check out the prices to walk in to a beautiful room with a section... More

Simply terrible. I opted for the 60 minute aromatherapy massage at 1200b. The spa itself looks lovely and with the prices they ask, I was expecting (and happy to pay for) an amazing, high end massage. What I got was an inexperienced young girl who painfully dug her thumb in various parts of my body. She was obviously trying hard... More

1. Unwashed towels and bathrobes. 2. No choices of oil. Whatever you choose is the same. The essential oil is of very poor quality and wasn't absorbed at all. 3. Water of the shower is not hot enough. 5. Complaint was not handled at all. Posts on their Facebook were immediately deleted. Management of the company should address customers' concerns,... More

I stopped by there today and was floored by the pricing. What makes them doubl HealthLand or Ruen Naad.......what really justifies this kinda activity. There is a binder and I saw the first page and realized I had entrered a parallel universe. Thai massage in New York is even cheaper and this supposedly is in Bangkok.....it felt like it anyway... I spent 1200 baht on a body massage here, as I knew other places nearby would be fully booked. There are reasons for why those places are busy and Chuvit Chiva is not, however, and I was definitely ripped off. Chuvit Chiva simply cannot justify the prices it charges. The interior design is mediocre and no more thoughtful than in... More

Me and friends wanted a massage and Chivit Chiva was recommended by friends. The place had a very nice personal boutique-spa feel. Very clean and cosy. They had a pretty decent spa menu but we had already decided on a 2-hr full body massage. It was heavenly! Prices at Chivit Chiva are slightly higher compared to Healthland (which IMO has... More

This is one of the best massage and spa offering in Bangkok in terms of facility and skill masseurs. Conveniently situated near Asok station opposite Westin hotel, it offers pampering at a rather higher cost than the conventional massage parlors along the streets. The masseurs are well trained, and room clean and cozy. Many a time I fell asleep while... More

I wanted to go to my all time favorite Bangkok spa Healthland in Asoke, and could not get a foot massage as walk in (no reservation on a foot massage), so I decided to try Chivit Chiva Massage & Spa around the corner on the way back to the Sky Train. Big mistake! The foot massage was pricy and bad;... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
