I went at hotel on Sat 19 Dec 2020 and checked out Sun 20 Dec. Just have time to review Banyan Tree. Firstly the Covid-19 protocol is very secured. They check temp. and ask question that we had visited. We went to Moon bar at night, we got 1 welcome drink each. On that day the weather very nice not too much cold and some windy. City view in night mode cannot explain with word or photo, have to see it with eyes and keep that atmosphere by yourself. Recommend to take photo at famous view (as photo) I would like to thank you Khun Jackie (Chief Concierge), very appreciate his service. He was very kind and help us everything. I asked him the direction to Sam Yan Mid town, he explained very clear and when we back he asked the feedback. It means that he remember us and remember what I asked before. And thank you K. Nok / K. Thun and K. Kook,, they took care us very nice, help us everything and give us clearly information too.

Dinner at Vertigo was everything that was promised including the view, food and especially the service. This review deserves a special mention of our server/waiter - Bird who was very attentive and extremely polite. He was always prompt with suggestions and his service. The food at Vertigo has great flavours and they also have an exclusive bar menu that leaves you spoilt for choice. This is an high end, fine dining experience so please come prepared for the costs. Another important point is that the restaurant is also very strict about adhering to the dress code which is smart casuals. If you walk in any other attire, you will be politely asked to sit at the bar or move to another restaurant. In all, a great experience and a must try for those who can afford it.

After spending a day in shall we say. the grubbier parts of Bangkok, it was a treat to clean up and go up to the glamorous Moon Bar. I was warmly greeted by the attentive staff, and invited to move from the bar to a prime spot by the edge when it became available. The cocktail was delicious and the little tray of nibbles appreciated. The best part was as I was leaving the host offered to take my photo, and roped in one of the servers to hold up table lamps to create the most flattering lighting and a great photo.

Yes, it's an amazing view but so are the views from every other roof top bar in Bangkok... drinks are super expensive and remember that VAT and service charge are not included - would have been nice to include them in the price on the menu given the price of a bottle of wine! Service decent enough but once again, no different to any other Thai establishment - wine list seemed a little lacking for the price too... but still, a beautiful view and place for to take your date! If you think it terms of value for money there are far better but then again, the price cuts out the lower class lol

I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered king crab tempura maki and the tuna tataki. The maki was cooked hours earlier and served cold. It tasted like old fried food. The tataki has been seared earlier but left out in the open until it was chewy. It should have melted in your mouth but instead tasted like an old piece of meat. We have been coming here for months and I found it has been getting worse each and every time. I am certainly disappointed.

Traveled through the city to visit this overhyped bar. Woman out front said I couldn’t go up because of my shirt. Changed into my shirt and she then says “it’s too busy” as she lets others walk into the venue. Then we go down to 52nd floor and someone tells us we can go up for an open air view at least. Upon returning the same woman says I can’t go in wearing sandals. This is stated as I watch dozens of people wearing sandals going inside. This type of classist discrimination puts me off ever handing my money over to the Banyan brand.

The bar has a briljant view. Probably one of the best of Bangkok. Unfortunately this doesn’t go for the staff. They must have recruited the slowest waitresses and bartenders in Thailand. Onde guy was constantly polishing one glass for 15 minutes while many clients were trying to order. I have never seen bartenders who worked that slowly. After almost half an hour we still couldn’t get the attention of one of the staff members. So we left. The whole bar looked very messy.

Located at the top off the Hotel with 360 views off the city this is an excellent place to unwind and have a drink or meal. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the service was spot on. If you are looking for that wow factor this definitely has it...

Some of the worst service I’ve experienced in a high end establishment. Took forever to get served and then they didn’t even open the bottle for us. We also had to ask 3 times for the bill and each time watched them ignore the request until we went to the till ourselves.

Drinks with a view. And what views! We arrived just before sunset, and managed to get one of the last tables on the top deck. We'll worth the slightly inflated prices for the wonderful view of Bangkok. Lots of tourists here (like us) for the pictures but you can't blame them. The changing sky at sunset is beautiful.
