About
Please email or call to reserve a tour before you come down to our office. If you are looking for the truly authentic Thai thing to do, our canal tour is the one! Because boats on these canals were the traditional means of transport since ancient time, where many interesting sites are situated. Our tour stops at: A Morning Fresh Produce Market (Alternate on the weekend with a Canal-Side Floating Market), Orchid Nursery in a Lush Green Bangkok Suburb, A Hidden Forest Temple, Heritage Thai House (the Artist's House). We can also arrange a special custom tour around the waterway.(Team Building Expert)

Very good and informative tour of the canal system and old city of Bangkok.
I learnt many things, we had an excellent guide.
Focus was the floating and food market at Klong Lad Mayom.
The organizers deserve a big Than kyou - I asked about a tour at around midnight for the following day and they made it possible on such a short notice. The other agencies were not responsive

My boyfriend and I did a 3-hr sunset tour in February on our last day in Bangkok – it was definitely a great way to end our time in the city and felt like a unique experience. We had anticipated being in a group, but it ended up being just us on the tour with our tour guide, Kae, and the boat driver so it felt like our own private tour which was really nice! We visited an orchid farm, temple and museum. Kae was so knowledgeable about everything and able to answer every question we had. She also shared snacks and drinks with us and took photos for us. The boat ride was also super interesting to see how some locals live on the water, so it felt very authentic to Thailand. I highly recommend if you're looking for something different to do and want to support a local business!

Hi Emily H, Thank you for taking your time to write this great review for us! It has been a long time since we were able to service our guests due to the lock down in Bangkok. Now things are slow returning to normal and we would. love to start operating our boat tour again. Keep in mind that all of our tours can be done in private group so less chance of coming into contact with other. So you would still be keep the social distancing while enjoying a cruise with us. Thank you again for taking our tour back in February, and we hope to see you and your boyfriend again soon. Tom and the Pandan Tour Teams,

We did the full day tour on a Monday in November. It was absolutely the highlight of our time in Bangkok! Kae, our guide, was amazing! She was full of good information and very easy going and pleasant to be around. She went out of her way to make the tour special for us. She provided a delicious homemade breakfast and also purchased some snacks for us in the morning market. She introduced us to Custard Apples which we never would have discovered otherwise – and they are worth discovering! Towards the end of our tour at the Artist’s House we wanted to make a bracelet and she stayed over our time limit so we could. She had to release the boat driver on time and went out of her way to walk us to public transportation instead.

I really can’t say enough good things about this tour. Being on the water was so peaceful and beautiful. Kae pointed out many of the interesting sights and sunning lizards. She made sure we had the opportunity to take plenty of great photos. She also took photos of us throughout the tour and they turned out fantastic! We really felt like we saw the authentic side of Bangkok versus a lot of the more touristy areas elsewhere. We learned so much about the culture and the religion.

The place we stopped for lunch was an absolute delight! The food was fantastic, the view incredible and the owners of the place were such lovely and welcoming people. The forest temple and the Artist’s House were our favorite parts. Both of them were so serene and we got some lovely artwork. Do yourself a favor and just book this tour!

Must do on every trip to Bangkok!

So relaxing to experience a different way of life. Originally we really wanted to see a floating market but I am so glad we didn’t do that and went with this wonderful tour of the canals in Thonburi instead. A little seen part of Bangkok lies just west of the large river that divides the city and 15min west of that, you will find hundreds of meandering canals that bring you back to a time before high rises, crazy traffic and technology. Our Small Teak Boat Canal tour guide, Nui, did a fantastic job of keeping the 6hr long tour relaxing, informative and fun!! The time went so fast. She met us at our hotel and from then on, couldn’t have been more friendly, knowledgeable (and funny). She was also excellent with our almost 2yr old daughter.

Get out of the city hustle and experience temples, a local market, excellent Thai lunch, history and wind blowing through your hair in this top notch tour.

We took the Bangkok Classic tour from Pandan tours and were very satisfied with it. The tour gives a great overview of the main sights of Bangkok in a short time. We went to the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Artist House and rode around in the Thonburi canals. We had a very nice lunch in the Artist House, the place had a great atmosphere. Our guide Anan was friendly, kind and caring and had a lot of knowledge. We got a good overview of the history of Thailand, buddhism and the everyday life of Thai people. He repeated some facts many times, but that actually helped us remember these things better. It also helped to make thing clearer because sometimes it is hard to understand other accents if you (like us) are not a native English speaker. After the tour we wanted to go to the Royal Theatre for a performance and Anan dropped us off at the theatre and came inside with us to make sure that everything is OK.
We have just one suggestion: it would be good to use a microphone and headphones on the canals because it is very hard to hear the guide over the noise of the boat engine, especially for people sitting further away from the guide.

We did the Classic Bangkok Tour, and it exceeded all expectations on all fronts!!:) Even though it was a bit more expensive than other similar tours, the little price difference was more than worth it from start to finish. They picked us up on time, and shuttled us around in taxis (we were given a choice and said no to tuktuks bec it was the hottest week in Thailand). We chose our 4 places (Wat Arun, Pak Klong Talad, Canal Temple, and floating market), and each of them were great, but then they went the extra mile and took us to 2 more spots that we also loved. For lunch, they took us to a local market, and had us pick 4 dishes, and everything was amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and fluent in English, and our canal driver was great and incredibly accommodating too. Finally, they use very small canals that can go where the other bigger tour operators can’t so we got a very private and authentic view of some of the places in Bangkok. Again, 5 out of 5, will recommend to family and friends.

Lastly — I booked this at the very last minute bec we didn’t know what time our COVID results will come back, and they were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with through WhatsApp.

We had an amazing time with our tour guide, Nui for our weekend floating market tour. The places we stopped we would have never found on our own, it felt like we were experience authentic Thai life! We could tell being a tour guide was Nui’s passion, she was very informative and detailed with all of her explanations. Would highly recommend her to all considering this tour. Overall, we had a great time seeing Thailand through the eyes of a local and would recommend this tour!

We called Panda Tours around 6 pm the day before the trip and they have organized everything on time. We did not ask for a private tour, but at the end of the day it turned out that they have organized the trip for only the two of us. The trip went very well, they took care of all of our luggages and picked up on time. Anan, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and really had first hand experience about the Thonburi canal system. His stories were colourful and the places he brought us were the most engaging sights we have visited in Bangkok. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking beyond the standard Bangkok experience.

My husband and I took the morning half day canal tour. It was a great way to see the sites and get out away from the crowds. Our tour guide was excellent and took great care of us. The highlights of the tour were the Thai Puppet Show at the Artist House and the amazing Wat Pak Nam. I highly recommend this tour.

We spent my birthday taking the Small Teak Boat Canal Tour. It was truly a great day. Anan was a great tour guide with lots of interesting information. I loved seeing how the people lived along the canals. We went to the floating market and that was really fun. We stopped a couple temples along the water. We saw monitor lizards swimming in the canals. We had lunch at a small restaurant along the canal and the food was some of the best we had in Thailand. The whole day was enjoyable and I would highly recommend this tour.

Hi KathyM670, Thank you so much for taking our little boat tour on the canal. Khun Anan is such a great tour guide too bad he has not work for a long time due to COVID-10 lockdown. We wish he can go on our tour more often soon. Thank you again and for your excellent review, and please come again soon or tell your friends and family to take our canal tour when they happen to be in in Bangkok. Tom and the Pandan Tour Teams,
