About
Please email or call to reserve a tour before you come down to our office. If you are looking for the truly authentic Thai thing to do, our canal tour is the one! Because boats on these canals were the traditional means of transport since ancient time, where many interesting sites are situated. Our tour stops at: A Morning Fresh Produce Market (Alternate on the weekend with a Canal-Side Floating Market), Orchid Nursery in a Lush Green Bangkok Suburb, A Hidden Forest Temple, Heritage Thai House (the Artist's House). We can also arrange a special custom tour around the waterway.(Team Building Expert)

We did the Classic Bangkok Tour, and it exceeded all expectations on all fronts!!:) Even though it was a bit more expensive than other similar tours, the little price difference was more than worth it from start to finish. They picked us up on time, and shuttled us around in taxis (we were given a choice and said no to tuktuks bec it was the hottest week in Thailand). We chose our 4 places (Wat Arun, Pak Klong Talad, Canal Temple, and floating market), and each of them were great, but then they went the extra mile and took us to 2 more spots that we also loved. For lunch, they took us to a local market, and had us pick 4 dishes, and everything was amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and fluent in English, and our canal driver was great and incredibly accommodating too. Finally, they use very small canals that can go where the other bigger tour operators can’t so we got a very private and authentic view of some of the places in Bangkok. Again, 5 out of 5, will recommend to family and friends.
Lastly — I booked this at the very last minute bec we didn’t know what time our COVID results will come back, and they were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with through WhatsApp.

This trip was amazing! Our guide (Mr. Champ) picked us up at the meeting point right on time. We rode for quite awhile past a wide variety of old and new homes as well as temples and other structures. Many local waved as we went by. Our first stop was the Orchid farm which was beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable. Our next stop was the floating market. It was truly amazing, vey authentic and nearly endless options of food to chose from. Our guide was so much fun explaining many of the foods. We sampled quite a few things and Mr. Champ even bought us an order of mango sticky rice and delicious rice noodles with prawns. After eating, we had a few minutes to explore on our own before heading to our next stop where we were able to feed hundreds of big fish with bread Mr. Champ provided for us. It was so crazy! Our final stop was the Artist's house which is a place where young locals learn traditional Thai arts. We got to see their work and had the opportunity to shop and purchase items created there. We were able to go right by the absolutely huge new Buddha statue that we had seen earlier in the day from miles away. Our boat driver was very skilled. We were impressed. If you take this trip, you will not be disappointed. You are seeing Thai life away from tourist. Very authentic!

This was a really fantastic canal boat tour in the outskirts of Bangkok. The company were very accommodating as we booked very last minute. They had a mix up with the timing of the boat arrival, but they compensated with an extra 30min of the tour free (thankfully we were not in any rush) which we were totally happy with.
Our guide, Khun Nui, was just spectacular. Her English was as if she was native speaking and she was very knowledgable, humorous, friendly, and knew so many great things about the various places we visited. It was a great way to learn more about the city and its history and get some insights you wouldn't normally find out from a guide book. It was just my Mum and I and the two of us really enjoyed ourselves. Would absolutely recommend this tour and Khun Sui if you can get her!

Hi natashap286,
Thank you for this excellent review. We loved it when our guests have had a fantastic time on the canals of Thonburi. Thank you again for helping us to be more popular, so we can service more happy guests. Khun Nui will be so happy to see this review as well.
Our guides are a great company and can help orient yourself around Bangkok and the whole of Thailand, just ask them any question and have clear up any thing that you are not sure of when traveling in Thailand
Please come back again with your friends, and relative when they are happen to be in Bangkok.

This is a truly amazing tour that everyone should take when in Bangkok. For me this was actually the second time I took this tour this year but I enjoyed the second time as much as I did the first time. Frankly, most of these tours can be rather disappointing with you shepherded around with a few information blandly recited to you here and there. This is very much not the case here. This is a fun, insightful and involving tour from the beginning to the end. Our guide Nui is a true character and while she will give you important information about what you see it is really just a starting point for giving you deep information about Thailand and the Thai people and also about Buddhism, and sometimes even life in general. For me the biggest thing is how you are feel connected to what you see and whoever you interact with (there are plenty of this) so you are getting past of the dreaded position of being "just a tourist" surveying your environment from a distance (if not physically then in mind). It's really an involving and flow type tour that I highly recommend to all!

This tour showed us another side of Bangkok. Our tour guide Kae was excellent. So knowledgeable about the history of the area and the canals. We did the 3 hour sunset tour and were given delicious snacks along the way, including homemade cookies by our guide. A highlight of our time in the city.

Hello Y2378Klannam,
Thank you so much for your excellent review for us here. We are so lucky to have Khun Kae work with us. She is the most Knowledgeable person about the history and the local Bangkok legend. She also know where to get the best snacks along the canals, even making the best cookies herself:)
Thank you for taking our canal tour in Thonburi and the Westside of Bangkok. Please tell your family and friends to come with us again when they have the chance to be in Bangkok.

My boyfriend and I did a 3-hr sunset tour in February on our last day in Bangkok – it was definitely a great way to end our time in the city and felt like a unique experience. We had anticipated being in a group, but it ended up being just us on the tour with our tour guide, Kae, and the boat driver so it felt like our own private tour which was really nice! We visited an orchid farm, temple and museum. Kae was so knowledgeable about everything and able to answer every question we had. She also shared snacks and drinks with us and took photos for us. The boat ride was also super interesting to see how some locals live on the water, so it felt very authentic to Thailand. I highly recommend if you're looking for something different to do and want to support a local business!

Hi Emily H,
Thank you for taking your time to write this great review for us! It has been a long time since we were able to service our guests due to the lock down in Bangkok. Now things are slow returning to normal and we would. love to start operating our boat tour again. Keep in mind that all of our tours can be done in private group so less chance of coming into contact with other. So you would still be keep the social distancing while enjoying a cruise with us.
Thank you again for taking our tour back in February, and we hope to see you and your boyfriend again soon.

We recently did the Canal tour with Pandan and it was our favorite part of our Bangkok trip. Sasha and team were able to mobilize in under 12 hours to set up a private tour for my girlfriend and I and we had an incredible with with Nui as our guide. She took us a unique temple on the river, got riverboat noodles for us and took us to the floating market. She was an incredible resource for the history of the country, city and people we interacted with an also was hilarious. I highly recommend taking this canal tour when In Bangkok!

Hello Relax598807,
Thank you for this very good review you written for us here on Tripadvisor.com. Our office try our best to accommodate our guest, and the fastest way to book a tour is to call or massage our office. We are very quick to set up a private boat tour around the westside of Bangkok, where you can still see boats serving local food and city services along the old canals. (Houses along the canals still fronting the waterway and still get mail, and trash service from the canalside.)
Thank you so much for taking our small teak boat canal adventure tour, and please let your friends and family know where to go for a canal tour when they come to Bangkok.

Very good and informative tour of the canal system and old city of Bangkok.
I learnt many things, we had an excellent guide.
Focus was the floating and food market at Klong Lad Mayom.
The organizers deserve a big Than kyou - I asked about a tour at around midnight for the following day and they made it possible on such a short notice. The other agencies were not responsive

We did the full day tour on a Monday in November. It was absolutely the highlight of our time in Bangkok! Kae, our guide, was amazing! She was full of good information and very easy going and pleasant to be around. She went out of her way to make the tour special for us. She provided a delicious homemade breakfast and also purchased some snacks for us in the morning market. She introduced us to Custard Apples which we never would have discovered otherwise – and they are worth discovering! Towards the end of our tour at the Artist’s House we wanted to make a bracelet and she stayed over our time limit so we could. She had to release the boat driver on time and went out of her way to walk us to public transportation instead.
I really can’t say enough good things about this tour. Being on the water was so peaceful and beautiful. Kae pointed out many of the interesting sights and sunning lizards. She made sure we had the opportunity to take plenty of great photos. She also took photos of us throughout the tour and they turned out fantastic! We really felt like we saw the authentic side of Bangkok versus a lot of the more touristy areas elsewhere. We learned so much about the culture and the religion.
The place we stopped for lunch was an absolute delight! The food was fantastic, the view incredible and the owners of the place were such lovely and welcoming people. The forest temple and the Artist’s House were our favorite parts. Both of them were so serene and we got some lovely artwork. Do yourself a favor and just book this tour!

My partner and I did the full canal tour led by our guide, Champ. We explored lively food markets, participated in temple ceremonies, fed bread to schools of catfish, and were lucky enough to observe the puppet show at the Artist’s House! The day was a perfect combination of relaxation mixed with excitement; the best way to get a deep dive into Thai culture.
The food at the floating market was insanely delicious and a definite highlight. It was so nice to be able to pick whatever we wanted and feast until we could feast no more! Champ had a warm and laid back energy and was knowledgeable, an absolute delight to spend the morning and afternoon with! Highly recommend!

Hello AlexH5340,
Thank you so much for taking your time to write us this excellent review! We could not ask for a better present for Christmas. Insanely delicious is probably the best way to describe your food experience at the Floating Market. You just have to make sure you are going to the right one. It's no secret, that food serves in Thailand is excellent without paying a lot of baht. And the best way to do foody tour is with our small boat, we pick you up from the Skytrain station and give you a full view of the canals and bring you right back to the train station. This way your transport is easy pleasy for the day.
Thank you again for coming on our little boat tour of the canals on the Westside of Bangkok. And if you can recommend your family and friends to come on our tour we would be delighted. Please let everyone know who to look for in Bangkok.
Sincerely,
Tom and the Pandan Tour Teams,

As far as I know, generally, the tour operators are not connected directly to Trip Advisor.
The tour company name is Pandan Tour. If you Google "Small Teak Boat Canal Adventure Tour"+ Pandan, you should get their website. TA will not let me or anyone else post a URL or their gmail address in a response.
Their gmail address is "booking.pandan.tour" followed by "@" followed by "gmail." followed by "com"
