We had a fantastic day touring the sights along one of Bangkok's canals with our guide, Nui. Although stops had to be modified because of Covid closures and water levels, it was a great experience. Nui speaks excellent English and provided substantial information related to each stop. The lychee farm (instead of the orchid farm) was really more of a "gardens" but was quite photo-worthy. We were pleasantly surprised that some of the Artist House shops were open so we could stroll the canal side and explore. The puppet theater was not yet running, so we will have to return for that. The large buddha temple was an amazing surprise, with beautiful colors at the top floor shrine. The museums on the bottom floors will need more time, so we will have to return there as well. We stopped at a small temple on the return trip, but I did not catch its name. It had some lovely murals on the inside and had a cozy, comfortable feel. No one else was around. One of our favorite experiences was having REAL boat noodles: noodles cooked on a boat and then we ate them on a boat! So fun. Continued on from here to the floating market, which was fun to see. Each boat has a specialty: fish, vegetables, chicken, noodles, coffee--even ice cream! The "land" portion of the market was extremely crowded, many people without masks, so rather uncomfortable. The food, however, was exceptional. A pleasant way to spend a day and escape the city heat--a nice breeze on the boat. We will use this company again. Highly recommend.

We are Bangkok residents, and after being stuck at home for the past 6 weeks (due to the COVID situation), we were looking for a new activity to do as the city starts to open up again. We weren't sure if Small Teak Boat Canal Adventure would be operating and contacted the company via Whatsapp, and were pleased to receive a prompt reply confirming availability. We booked the 3 hr Sunset Tour, and Sacha let us know in advance that the planned stops might still be closed. This ended up being the case, but it did not bother us one bit, as we enjoyed just cruising along the canals so much. The monitor lizards, the smiling locals that waved at us, and the gorgeous traditional Thai houses on stilts made this tour completely worth it. Tom was an excellent guide, giving us lots of insight into Thai history and culture, and we are so grateful that Sacha/Tom were able to accomodate us during this difficult time. We are definitely planning to book another tour so we can revisit everything when the stops are fully open again.

My boyfriend and I did a 3-hr sunset tour in February on our last day in Bangkok – it was definitely a great way to end our time in the city and felt like a unique experience. We had anticipated being in a group, but it ended up being just us on the tour with our tour guide, Kae, and the boat driver so it felt like our own private tour which was really nice! We visited an orchid farm, temple and museum. Kae was so knowledgeable about everything and able to answer every question we had. She also shared snacks and drinks with us and took photos for us. The boat ride was also super interesting to see how some locals live on the water, so it felt very authentic to Thailand. I highly recommend if you're looking for something different to do and want to support a local business!

Hi Emily H, Thank you for taking your time to write this great review for us! It has been a long time since we were able to service our guests due to the lock down in Bangkok. Now things are slow returning to normal and we would. love to start operating our boat tour again. Keep in mind that all of our tours can be done in private group so less chance of coming into contact with other. So you would still be keep the social distancing while enjoying a cruise with us. Thank you again for taking our tour back in February, and we hope to see you and your boyfriend again soon. Tom and the Pandan Tour Teams,

We did the full day tour on a Monday in November. It was absolutely the highlight of our time in Bangkok! Kae, our guide, was amazing! She was full of good information and very easy going and pleasant to be around. She went out of her way to make the tour special for us. She provided a delicious homemade breakfast and also purchased some snacks for us in the morning market. She introduced us to Custard Apples which we never would have discovered otherwise – and they are worth discovering! Towards the end of our tour at the Artist’s House we wanted to make a bracelet and she stayed over our time limit so we could. She had to release the boat driver on time and went out of her way to walk us to public transportation instead. I really can’t say enough good things about this tour. Being on the water was so peaceful and beautiful. Kae pointed out many of the interesting sights and sunning lizards. She made sure we had the opportunity to take plenty of great photos. She also took photos of us throughout the tour and they turned out fantastic! We really felt like we saw the authentic side of Bangkok versus a lot of the more touristy areas elsewhere. We learned so much about the culture and the religion. The place we stopped for lunch was an absolute delight! The food was fantastic, the view incredible and the owners of the place were such lovely and welcoming people. The forest temple and the Artist’s House were our favorite parts. Both of them were so serene and we got some lovely artwork. Do yourself a favor and just book this tour!

We spent my birthday taking the Small Teak Boat Canal Tour. It was truly a great day. Anan was a great tour guide with lots of interesting information. I loved seeing how the people lived along the canals. We went to the floating market and that was really fun. We stopped a couple temples along the water. We saw monitor lizards swimming in the canals. We had lunch at a small restaurant along the canal and the food was some of the best we had in Thailand. The whole day was enjoyable and I would highly recommend this tour.
