We booked through GetYourGuide application to visit floating market, Touring company name was: EURO KHMER VOYAGES THIS WAS THE WORST TRIP I HAD IN MY LIFE!!! Waste of time and money They are not accurate about the trip and fees. 1: the van that we took was old and not clean. 2: they had mentioned that the rowboat will be 150 baht per person But when we went there the prices was different, 450 baht for joint boat and 700 baht for private!!!!! 3. They suddenly made a change, and it was not mentioned in the tour schedule while booking for the tour. They took us to some elephants camp after visiting the floating market, and there were activities for extra fees starting from 700 per person. We have either to do the Activities or to wait until the others finish it. The big issue: I didn't want to go to camp and pay extra non planned money. Me, my wife and my baby girl (1 year 3 month) and some other family had to waste an hour waiting till the other finish the camp. Why do I have to stay in sun and hot wether waiting for unplanned and extra fees activity!! 4.The worse part, the bus we took back to the hotel was Different than the one we ride in the morning. It was very dangerous, the van was old, dirty and insects walks on our bodies, very tight from inside, and this not all! The driver was driving too fast and careless, jumping from a line to another. AT the end he took a ticket from police. I think it is better to use the hotel service desk to book for you the trip with a well know / reputable touring company instead of booking online.

We absolutely loved the floating market! Be advised that to ride around the floating market (which you really need to do) it is an additional cost that you pay once you are there. It's worth it though. The kids loved riding an elephant- again an additional cost. They said there were all these other things we could do like feeding a baby tiger and seeing a cobra show, etc., however, we were never told when we could do Those things during the tour...so they introduced it to the kids on the drive out of town and the kids waited to do them and it just never happened! Again, those things were additional costs. The lunch was okay. The lion show was okay- kids enjoyed it. The crocidile show was not as exciting as the pictures looked. However, all these things were memories the kids will take back, and worth it because of that.

We paid 37 dollars (25 U.S) for a half day tour to the Damnoen Saduak Floating markets with Euro Khmer Voyages - Bangkok; which boasted of how the round trip was covered, including boat rides and the animal opportunities that would be provided. Upon arrival at the markets, we discovered a boat trip was not included and that we had to pay an extra 6 dollars to go down the river market. Our guide was really lovely but she pretty much left us to go our own way and pick us up afterwards. I'm really not sure what service we were paying for, other than the tour bus ride to the markets and a short long-tailed boat ride that we could have done without, as it wasn't even in the market area. Our group was confused and annoyed that we paid so much when we could have taken a bus for a return fee of 5 dollars and then paid our 6 dollars for our boat in the river (11 dollars for essentially the same services). This tour was pointless and a waste of money. The animal encounters cost also. After all this, we were left waiting at the wood carving place for half an hour more than the long hour we were supposed to be there for. We arrived back to our hotel at 3pm (an hour later than expected - which was understandable due to traffic). Our tour guide went in a different car. As far as I was notified (so therefore I am not certain); we were left with another group altogether to return with. Poor service on behalf of the company. I feel cheated out of money and I recommend that you avoid this service. I will be requesting a refund.

Dear Jasmine, as bellow the program i have notice that all detail as clear of advertise What You'll Do Experience the real Floating Market of Thailand Get up and close with the paddling merchants, selling a variety of fruits and vegetables Enjoy the very lively atmosphere in the early morning Overview The real floating market is the one at Damnern Saduak, around 110 kilometers west of Bangkok. A trip to this Thai phenomenon is like traveling back to the ancient times of the Siam Kingdom, where colorful clad merchants paddle along the narrow canals. What to Expect You will be picked up in the early morning from your hotel lobby and accompanied by your guide and driver, you head out in the direction of the Ratchaburi province to the Damnern Saduak Floating Markets, one of Thailand’s icons. It will take approximately 2 hours to reach the marketing and buzzing place is at its best in the early morning before the crowds arrive and the heat of the day builds up. The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market dates back to 1866 when King Rama IV ordered that a canal 32 kilometers long be dug at Damnoen Saduak to connect the Mae Klong and Tacheen Rivers (his reason for doing so lies in the fact that the quality of the soil on the banks of the canal is excellent for growing many kinds of fruits and vegetables including Malacca grape, Chinese grapefruit, mangos, bananas, and coconuts). The Floating Market is an ideal place for tourists to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables and other from small boats. Tourists will also be able to see traditional Thai houses and the way locals use boats in their everyday lives. During your visit, there will be lots of activity and bargaining is part of the fun of the sale. The market’s popularity among visitors has grown over the years and outside the traditional means of selling and trading food and drinks, souvenir shops around the market are home to some of the best local handicraft one can buy. After your visit to the market, head down to the rural Maeklong Station Market, a different, yet more intimate place to see the various fresh fruits and vegetable produces from the region displayed here. Before heading back to Bangkok, admire the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia; the Phra Pathom Chedi in Nakorn Pathom. This golden-tiled dome of the Chedi towers almost 116 meters into the air. You head back to Bangkok where your guide and driver will drop you off at your booked hotel in the Thai capital. What's Included Private tours and transfer from and to your Bangkok CBD Hotel with driver English speaking guide All entrance fees, where applicable All taxes and service fees included What's Not Included Other entrance fees and expenses Hotel accommodation in Bangkok Tips and gratuities What to Remember • The possibility exists to take a paddle boat and join the merchant fleet up close. Additional charges on spot are applicable. • This tour is operated only in the morning. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- according to description of the tour seem was mention already which is tour will bring you there and side by side visit to the floating market, so if you prefer to take boat riding in the market, that is personal extra expense. kindly note that this is SIC tour, so timing and joining with other people in the trip should be follow, but due to you request to drop off at Terminal 21 where other traveler cannot waiting you, so you need to join with other group transfer back to your hotel which should be another additional charge would be apply. with of 25$/pax for this Join tour almost value to the services, and it will more cost for you if you would hide a private guide, transport and entrance fee to the area. In the program as well did not mention about elephant trekking at all. So please kindly review what we have mention in the tour on Getyourguide and also what we include during tour for you. Last but not less, we hope to have chance to serve you in other tour servicing in Thailand soon.
