One of our greatest memories in Thailand was shopping for a custom suit. We were introduced to an amazing family run clothier shop Raja's Fashion. Relaxed atmosphere, incredible selection, attention to detail and the latest in fashion. Now that Raja's Fashion has my measurements, I have been able to place orders over the phone and online. Save yourself time and check out Raja's Fashion in Bangkok

Raja's Fashions is the last tailor you will ever need. The store is conveniently located next to the Nana BTS station on the south side between Sukhumvit Soi 6&8. When you walk in you are greeted with genuine customer service, offered a variety of beverages, and given a tour of the shop. The owner, his son, daughter, and grandson are always on hand to assist you with selecting the fabrics, styles, and custom options aided by more than 100 years of combined experience. There are budget friendly options for everyone all the way up to some of the finest fabrics I have ever seen during my time abroad. I have visited dozens of bespoke tailors over the years in 5 different countries around the world. So what makes Raja's different? 1- They work with every customer's personal preferences and budgets to find what works best for you. 2- They actually listen to you and help you through unlimited option combinations from shirts, pants, suits, sport jackets, full wool jackets, jeans... you name it, they can do it. 3- They offer quick service, sometimes even the same day if you have the time, and make sure that every inch of your product is perfect and precisely the way you wanted or they make it right. 4- They save all of your measurements and information so that future business is a breeze, even from another country since they offer international shipping. Raja's family has earned a lifetime customer with me and my family and I highly recommend you stop by and find out for yourself.

I was recommended by several friends to take my husband to Raja's Fashions. They all raved about how professional the staff is and how much they loved their clothes. They were absolutely right! Their selection of fabric is wonderful and the staff is very accommodating offering you snacks, beverages and cool towels to beat the brutal Bangkok heat! They took their time and we didn't feel rushed whatsoever. They helped with every single detail down to the buttons and we couldn't have been happier! They were also very catering to our 5 year old son and kept him entertained during fittings. The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. This is certainly one of the best if not THE best tailor in Bangkok!

I made my first trip to the City of Angels, Krung Thep, well over a decade ago and I was immediately smitten. Among the many surprises awaiting my first sojourn I was overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of tailors and, at the same time, concerned as to how I could avoid or at least minimise disappointment. As a solution, I turned to the Tripadvisor;s forum and soon discovered that many of the leads I was given led to a shop in Soi 4 called Raja’s Fashions. That is where I first met Bobby Gulati, a well-travelled and charismatic individual proficient in several languages who put me immediately at ease by offering me a drink. I immediately sensed that this may be a place where I would enjoy shopping without being rushed. As it happens, I hail from Italy. A country that is known for its style and range of good couturier. In other words, like many of my fellow countrymen, we can be a little fussy with our requirements down to the choice of textile, colour, design. I admit that perhaps there was a dose of vanity in me as I wanted to have something exclusive, made to measure and also something that encouraged me to stay in good shape. By the same token, I wanted a suit that was long lasting and timeless, yet personalised. Instagram was not the rage at that time but if it had been, surely a photo of my new suit on that platform would have resulted in a second interview from multiple employers. In all my grand pomposity, I wanted, actually demanded, that my made to measure suit had to be that good. Given the unreasonableness of my expectations, I may have been referred elsewhere but, luckily for me, that is not what happened on that occasion or, indeed, on any other visits. Instead, Bobby rose to the challenge. He listened carefully and sought to understand what the suit would be used for. Then, without hurrying me, he began by showing to me a few textiles. The discussion then evolved to the model, i.e. two or three pieces, single breast vs double breast, how many buttons, the types of buttons, the style and positions of the pockets, the type trousers, pleats and how many, straight drop or turn ups straight-line pockets or slanted etcetera etcetera. In a very subtle way, Bobby managed to guide my answers albeit without ignoring my personal wishes. He prevented me from choosing the wrong buttons at my first experience and acting almost like a brother, a confidant friend, and as a teacher he helped me narrow down my choices. In recent years, Bobby’s shop has moved to smarter premises next to Soi 8 and I have returned many times. I am not here to tell others that everything has always been plain sailing. Sometimes things can indeed go wrong but these episodes have been exceedingly rare indeed and when they have occurred the team at Raja’s Fashions has always put them right without any fuss. Recently, I had two more suits made to measure, one of which was for a wedding and I was delighted with the result. In the real world, most of us men tend to sit sluggish at times and walk packed. Our bodies are different not only in size but above all in movement. Over the years I have had around a dozen suits made by Bobby’s team with countless shirts and trousers. All the suits feel right and work well while moving or when standing still and sitting down. To me, they are full of secrets with textile and seams designed to hide my body’s flaws and enhance its qualities. They are elegant but not plastered and all I can say is thank you Bobby.
