Neighborhood: Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

We had an amazing experience exploring the waterfalls and Elephant sanctuary. Our driver Artit (from KKK tours) was a gem of a person - friendly, thoughtful, humble & good with kids! His knowledge, passion for the environment and wildlife shone through, making the journey not only informative but also genuinely enjoyable.
Feeding & bathing the gentle giants at the sanctuary was memorable & one that I am sure my kids will remember forever. And, the serene waterfalls with the emerald green ponds are a sight to behold!
Definitely recommend this tour if you want to experience the excitement & bliss of being one with nature. And, of course ask for Artit if you can!

Artit our driver picked us up on time @ 615am for a 630am pick up. We stopped halfway for a bathrooom break and got back late in the evening. He worked about 14 hours not to mention his commute to the hotel. He drove safely and asked if we needed a bathroom/food break on our way back. He bought us coconuts to drink at some markets on our way home. We didnt have bhat and were looking for an exchange place. This was very thoughtful and the coconuts 🥥 were amazing.
These drivers live off tips. Not to mention the time away from their families to take us on a beautiful excursion safely. Please tip your driver accordingly.
The elephant tour was amazing. Please keep in mind how many people are managing the elephants when you tip. You can also buy things at the gift shop to support the Sanctuary.
The Falls had lots of people and you definitely need more than 1 bottle of water per person.
Also instead of buying things at 711 support the local vendors.
5 star rating for our driver and tour company

We took the tour with KKK tours. The driver Artit was very helpful and thoroughly professional. He took us to the Elephant farm first and on the way gave us introduction to the experience. He took us to Erawan later and helped us plan our trek. The drive was smooth and very comfortable.
We are a family of 2 adults and 1 9 year old. The experience is highly recommended for all age groups.

Thank you for a very special experience. I haven’t had a cooking lesson since I left school in 1975. This was worth the wait. I was booked onto the class by my son and it was a real treat. The instructor was an experienced teacher who could judge the rate of the class and act accordingly. She had information and humour and we, as a group blended very well. The format was ideal with ingredients being described and then we prepared them. We firstly made coconut milk. We prepared and ate a delicious four course meal under direct supervision. Fresh ingredients, including use of pestle and mortar to blend the herbs and spices. No blenders in sight !!!Very slick operation so wasting time eliminated and very clean equipment and environment.SPECIAL THANKS FOR HELPING US AS A VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN.
A delightful evening worth every baht.

Loved learning to cook at Tingly Thai Cooking School. We learned how to make 3 Thai main courses and 1 desert. The food was fab (and I’m a bad cook haha). Mr. Tingly, the owner of the cooking school, was very kind and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend this activity! Tip: Don’to eat too much beforehand, you will be stuffed with delicious foods during the class!!!

Tingly Thai Cooking school was an amazing experience while on holiday here in Bangkok (I traveled from San Francisco). I signed up for the 8am class, and the instructor was right on time. We went to the food market which is right near the school to pick out an incredible selection of meat and vegetables, came back to the class and started cooking. We made 3 dishes plus a desert (make sure to come HUNGRY), and though these are traditional thai dishes, they were all made from scratch. Talking to local Thai people, even they had not made the food in such a way. The pad thai in particular was amazing, but just wow, all the food was fresh, tasty, and I could not have been happier with the outcome.
I recommend taking the 8am class so you get the benefit of going to the market and seeing the fresh produce to make the curry from scratch, how the meat is bought, etc. Have recommended to my friends who may visit Bangkok, my highest form of a compliment I can give. Highly recommend this place.

It was a great trip in a very comfortable car, even though it was a long way. National park is quite clean and well maintained. The place has 8 beautiful waterfalls with an access for swimming. It’s amazing for insta shooting and a unique experience for those who love nature. It’s a really must see on your list!
