We sent Lambert 130 stones, 734 CT’s of sunstones. After 5 months we received an invoice for over $800.00 for their cutting service. The stones that we sent averaged over 5 CT’s each, some larger some smaller. We received one parcel of 118 stones that weighed 47.5 CT’s most of the stones were so small that they were un useable. There were no stones over a half ct. The second parcel was 95 stones at 129 CT’s. With 1 stone over 3 CT’s. The majority of the remaining stones were less than a ct. I complained and received an answer telling me if I had better rough I would have had better cut stones. I have faceted for over 30 years and only sent clean large stones. Eric’s second response to my complaint was how their intake person separated the included pieces and had the included pieces cut to smaller sizes. None of my stones were included. If they were included it would of been copper that is called Schiller and is highly desirable and increases the value of the stone. I have suspicions why I have 216 small and useless stones from Lambert. You be the judge ! 130 stones at 734 CT’s = 216 stones at 176 CT’s. Most of the stones were under a ct. …

I second all the positive reviews of Elsbeth and the team. I loved the experience in the showroom - easy going, lots of knowledge and info, friendly, and low key. On chosing stones we did some back and forth on designs and had another visit before landing on something. My husband & I visited Lambert Gems (after reviewing all the feedback) in Jan 2020 with the aim of designing some stacking rings to go with my Diamond engagement ring. Of course, we were a bit nervous as this was the first time we had purchased quality jewellery anywhere overseas. From the moment we met Elsbeth we knew we were at the right place. She immediately made us feel at ease as did the showroom which was as unshowey as a showroom could be. Elsbeth was welcoming, professional, highly knowledgable & totally relaxed in her approach. What I especially appreciated & thoroughly enjoyed was working with her to create my special rings just for me. She took on board my creative ideas & made many suggestions which were so helpful. At no time did we feel any pressure, in fact the complete opposite. I am now the extremely happy & feeling very spoilt owner of 5 beautiful rings. Really amazing customer service. I was in Bangkok on business and interested in looking at sapphires and jewelry. Found Lambert here on TripAdvisor and was impressed with the reviews. During my visit I pulled out my phone and showed them a picture of this ring I liked that I had found on the internet. They suggested they could make something similar...and that is exactly what they did! The project started after I returned home to the United States and everything after that first meeting was handled by email! Everything about that should be cause for concern but it was incredibly smooth and they were always quick with responses (24 to 48 hours with time difference). The ring they made me was incredibly beautiful. They actually rejected the first iteration from their designer. They told me when they sent those pictures that they thought the proportions were wrong and they immediately had the designer go back to work on a new one! Anyone, really love the ring.
