We cannot recommend this tour enough but it was our guide (Pam) that made it extra special and memorable. Pam was so friendly, funny and patient (we weren’t too good at picking up Thai words) but she was also very knowledgeable. Trying the local food was great & delicious (aroi!) but in the end we had to say “IM” (we’re full!)however she still tried to feed us!! We learned so much from Pam and we’re glad we did this trip early on in our stay as Pam gave us many useful tips. So chob Kuhn kar (thank you) Pam, you were amazing! Debra & Shaun Lewis

I did 3 tours with UA whilst visiting BKK in Jan. All 3 were super interesting and great fun. I did back streets food tour, biking and the floating markets...
On all tours guides were brilliant and the itineraries were planned with care and a lot of thought. For example floating market tour starts early enough so you can actually see the train come through the market; biking tour goes through so many little ally ways and hidden streets of BKK that an average tourist would usually miss out on completely and on the food tour there's so much food I could've brought a friend along and we wouldn't he hungry.
Lastly, I have to make a special giant thank you and a word of appraisal to A (my guide on the floating markets tour). A was, well, just A! A mAde the dAy! He was so engaging and so interesting and made some of the stops super fun. Like the coconut farm where he was taking pictures of people in the group in so many ways and angles, we were all laughing in the end. So A thank you once again and keep up the good work.
Thanks UA BKK for making my stay there amazing.

Pam is a local-born tour guide and she was awesome. I was fortunate to be the sole member of the tour this particular Friday in May and Pam gave me the VIP treatment. She has really done her homework and knew all there was to know about the places we visited and well beyond. I loved the trip by boat through Bangkok's canal network - there was something to look at at every turn. The Grand Palace was also awesome to explore. Pam made me pose for photos on my camera at all the most memorable spots and I have a great collection of shots from this visit. The reclining buddha at Wat Po was also memorable. In sum, this tour was money well worthwhile. It gave me a snapshot of some of Bangkok's most notable attractions and delivered in a very personable package. RECOMMENDED!

We did the Urban Adventures bike tour around Bangkok, and it was excellent. Jay was a great guide, very engaging and informative.

I’ve been here about 10 times and this tour took us to areas of Bangkok I'd never been to and that you normally would have no reason to go to - as it's mostly the backstreets where the 'real' locals live, along the small canals on the western side of the Chao Praya river. So lots of narrow lane ways that you'd have trouble navigating on your own. Also visited a couple beautiful temples that are off the tourist trail, as well as a stop at Wat Arun.

I would def recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the 'real' Bangkok.

This is a fun way to get out of Bangkok and enjoy some of the sights around the countryside.

We were picked up early to get to the Mae Klong Station to get up close and personal with the train. Running right through the markets it’s fascinating to see how the locals have adapted.. we then visited a local family’s coconut farm and learned how much hard work goes into making coconut sugar. Our last stop was to see the floating markets and cruise the canals while we relaxed and enjoyed freshly delivered coconut ice cream!

Our guide, Mon, was fun to hang out with for the day, he taught us a few words of Thai, impressed us with the full name of Bangkok, he was informative, solicitous with our safety and had a great relationship with the locals.

We highly recommend this tour!

I went on this tour my first day in Bangkok, and it was a great way to see the city! Our guide, A, went above and beyond in taking us around and sharing with us the history of the city, along with tips, tricks, and recommendations. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants an introduction to Bangkok. And thanks A for such an awesome day!

We did the Temple & River of Kings tour on 28/8/18 with Pepe - he advised us that our original guide was stranded due to the floods.

We generally love tours as it gives us the opportunity to learn about a country's cultures and traditions compared to if we had attended the locations ourselves. We have had 4 amazing tours in the 2 weeks in SE Asia, unfortunately this was not one of them.

We found that our guide seemed almost bored throughout the tour. He was not particularly engaging and we did not feel much information was provided at any of the sites. When we arrived at the Grand Palace we were given a brief description of what the building was made out of (similar to what is provided on the tourist pamphlets) and told to go around for 20-30 minutes and take photos. When we returned after 10mins we simply stood around our guide trying to ask questions to make the tour interesting - we were given short answers and then just waited around until the group gathered again. The same occurred at all the other locations whereby we were given 1-2mins of information then told to go take photos.

It was disappointing as when we were standing around with him, we overheard other guides providing very interesting information about the sites.

Hopefully others have had a better experience with the regular guide.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions of this tour. We are really sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience and understand that you could not recommend us for now. It doesn't sound like it was up to our usual high standards. I have just joined the company and as a new manager it is really helpful to have your feedback, we should be delivering the same level of service even if we have to make a last minute substitution of the guide. If you ever decide to come back to Bangkok (we hope you will!), please contact us and we will make it up to you. Your review inspires us to work harder, so thank you one more time. We would highly recommend this tour. We were very lucky to have Miss Wawah as our guide. She gave a very good job in sharing her great knowledge of the Thai way of living. She really did a great job by explaining a lot of the Thai daily life, history/base of BKK-Thailand and religion. She had a very good English, very good sense humour, excellent knowledge of Thai living and culture. We visited different places and learnt a lot from her. Thank you Wawah. We would come back again!

An amazing experience. Private tour for my husband and I with Gof, who was simply amazing, knowledgable and a joy to share the experience with. A very hot day so in and out of a/c options as well as the streets.
Fantastic English spoken and very informative. Gof kept us entirely interested and gave us options for the main meal to suit us! Gof, possibly the best urban adventure tour leader ever???
