The area
Address
Neighborhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

A shopping center across the street from BTS Phrom Phong Station, in front of the Emporium. There are high-end goods that are more expensive than in Japan, and a currency exchange with good rates.
After checking out of the hotel, I had lunch at the food hall in the basement because it was cool and had wifi.
This building has several entrances, and if you enter from a different entrance, you won't be able to find the place.
To exchange money, enter from the left and go underground.
To get to the food hall, you have to enter from the rightmost entrance.
The underground is not connected. It's like Seibu Department Store in Ikebukuro.
There is no food court immediately after getting off the escalator to the right of the entrance, and you have to go further to the right. The restaurant in front is expensive.
It is convenient because you can pay with a Japanese credit card without having to buy and charge a card like in other shopping center food courts.
Pad Thai was 75B, and shaved ice was 50B, which was average prices.
It was clean, cool, and comfortable.

The dining experience is exceptional with a variety of quality restaurants. Shopping is also a pleasure with varied boutiques. An unexpected highlight is the jungle floor, offering a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the city

Very modern shopping mall. With a large waterfall in the center in the part between the two corridors of the mall.
Excellent stores such as H&M, Zara, Muji, Uniqlo among many others.
It is quickly connected to another shopping mall in the district: Emporium, via Phrom Phong station on the BTS metro line.
The food court is on the ground floor and has many food options. Mainly local networks.
It's very worth the visit!

Nice mall. Has character. Like most malls in Asia gets busier at night. Upmarket shops and dining. There are a few buildings. A mall with free wifi in Bangkok that you can connect to on a foreign mobile! Air conditioning is thankfully not too cold. The gourmet market is pricey but has excellent products. Good supermarket. Quality. Really nice food stalls too. Again very upmarket.

EmQuartier is one of several upscale malls in Bangkok. Packed with brand-name shops and fancy restaurants. But if you search, you can also find some restaurants that are approaching reasonable in price; most good quality.

EmQuartier food hall is a good place for a meal if you are in this neighborhood. Located in the basement of the EmQuartier shopping mall. Many options for Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Thai restaurants or quick foods. Even a Starbucks. Clean and spacious. Many options for seating, including some quiet spaces. Prices are a bit higher than Emporium across the street, and definitely higher than the food court at Terminal 21, but the food I had was good quality and tasty. Toilets were clean.

High end mall, latest go to place for most local Thais. It’s classy, it’s big and it’s easily accessible via BTS. Lots of restaurants in. Ext door building by Empshere also owned by Emquartier mall operator.

Situated a hop and skip away from the elevated train system, this mall has been our favorite in Bangkok so far. Conveniently located, with all the shops and comforts of home. Big brand names, luxury, affordable fashion and a super-super market.
Be careful though in gets loud and busy on the weekends, so if crowds aren’t your thing than visit on the weekdays.

High end shopping mall at the Phrom Phong BTS station. Stunning architecture. A wide variety of different shops. The draw for me is the food court in the basement and the higher end restaurants in the helix building.
