In the sense of still being "Leoland" this business is gone now. It's re-opened a few months ago as Pororo water park, of course in the same location. It's not all that different, nice enough, but I'll add a more complete review under that name since it no longer is "Leoland."

Just an update for those like me who are looking for that information, I just called central Bangna and the park is still closed, due to reopen (from what they say) in September this year. Note I had to put a rating which is mandatoty to post but have not been there yet.

Apparently it is being renovated and will open again late 2014. Really looking forward to it, it was fun but really run down :-)

We wanted to go but found out that the place is being renovated at this moment. The opening is in october. When you go; find a taxi driver who knows the place. Ours brought us to bang na instead of bangma.

We went to leoland in 2010 & 2012 with our son 11 years old & had a great time. A cheap day out. It does need some work. We are looking forward to visiting again from Australia this October 2013. Does anyone know their email address so we can contact them?

Wanted to enjoy the Saturday and take our son to a waterpark. We had a choice between Leoland, Fantasia Lagoon and Siam Park. We choose Leoland as it was not too far away - turned out it was a bad choice! The park is really run down and urgently needs a major overhaul. The attractions are really rusty and tiles... More

Hello, On behalf of Central Pattana, the developers of Central Bangna and Leoland: Thank you for your review. We understand the park is extremely run-down. It was built in 1994, and has not been renovated since. That's 18 years ago! We are currently undergoing the processes of renovation. Please come visit us again in October 2013 when you are next... Leo Land looks like it might have been a blast in the 1990s. There are few attractions aside from the kid's area and two or three larger slides. The changing facilities look like they've been abandoned years ago with most areas in disrepair. Most alarming is the fact that the slides are rusty, have paint flaking and chipping away from... We spent a day there with our 2 boys (5 and 8). The waterpark is very cheap - I think it was 550 baht for 4 adults and 2 kids. Food is reasonable and good. Water and pools were clean. Overall we had a very good time. Only word of warning is that the staff supervision is very lax. 6... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
