Top ways to experience nearby attractions

The area
Neighborhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

We had the 40 minutes back and shoulder massage. It was nice, they had a very firm touch and stretched us as well.
The place looks good, is clean and the prices are good. We will definitely be coming back.

Visited 3 times while staying at Lebua which is just 1 minute walking distance.
First time, I had 1 hour foot reflexology and 1 hour thai massage. Perfextly executed by a very nice employee who seemed to take her job very seriously. I have some trouble with flexibility in my hip and she accomodated me with pillows to avoid pain. Very good experience.
Second time was also excellent. I asked for a hard thai massage as I have deep muscle tension, and she managed to give me a deep massage that was still not very painful.
Third time was a different story. I did a drop-in, and there were a lot of customers. I believe they called someone in just for me, as she showed up 10 minutes later at the front door. Good service per se, yes, but she was not at all as skillful as the first two. I have had plenty of thai massages over the years, and can tell the difference.
I would much rather have waited as long as it took to get a professional than get a substitute.
Had it not been for the third time, I would have given 5 stars.
The concierge is very nice and speaks good english.
They should really put up some signs in the lobby saying this is a quiet zone, as two times I was annoyed by people (guests) talking loudly probable not being aware that treatment rooms are just behind the wall and will be disturbed by noise.
Prices here are very affordable, I paid 600 baht for 2 hours treatment. It is clean and you will get special clothes to wear during massages.
Would go back but cross my fingers I would get quality treatment every time.

If you are staying at Lebua Hotel, this was my favourite nearby place to go for traditional Thai massage! :)

I orderd the massage for 40min. But the time of massage was only 25min!!!
I pointed out it to the man of counter. But He spoke me that it is 40min.

There are just 30min from I enter the shop to I go out. During the time, I m waiting,I m changing the clothes... How can I have the massage for 40min?

This massage shop isn t dishonest and too bad.

A friend and I came here based on the good TA reviews. I was greatly disappointed by the massage and left shocked by my awful experience. It was around 5p when we arrived and the place seemed somewhat busy (2 other couples entered after us and were told to wait 30 min). We were taken to the 3rd floor since they were fully occupied on the 2nd floor, and one of the workers told me last minute that I would have a male masseuse...which didn't initially bother me. However, when the massage started, he was super aggressive and VERY rushed with his technique. I repeatedly notified him that the intensity was a bit too much, but he did not respond. His co-worker, my friend's masseuse, even told him to take it easy on me (since he heard me yelping) but nothing changed. After 10 min, I thought about getting up to leave, but it did improve slightly and I didn't want to cause a scene. Of note, I have had several excellent Thai massages in Bangkok and other parts of Thailand...this was definitely a careless, poor job. To make matters worse, he had a runny nose the whole time and was blowing his nose while kneeling on my calves! Also, my friend's masseuse left mid-massage for 15 min to take a private call. My friend said he actually had a good massage, so maybe it's just luck of the draw on quality. I found it strange that after the massages, my guy completely vanished while my friend's masseuse walked us downstairs and actually apologized "for everything." Needless to say, I will not be returning!

The place seems very clean and looks decent. We arrived just an hour before it closed but they didn’t rush anything. The masseuse are very professional and the massage is fantastic.

I stopped by here around 8:30 for foot reflexology for myself and my husband, not expecting a 5 star experience. And yes, I have experienced other affordable massages, however my experience here turned out to be the worst. As mentioned by other reviewers, there was no pressure and basically my masseuse was rubbing my feet while watching the clock the whole time. It felt like she had no training since she was practically glancing at the masseur next to her and only copying his motions. I asked her politely to put in more pressure but it only turned out to be painful and unpleasant. I had to stop her in the middle and waited for my husband to end his massage. When I stopped the massage the owner asked me if i was happy and I told her no. The owner and my masseuse were speaking in Thai laughing while I was standing at the counter. Not professional nor have I experienced anything like this in Bangkok. My husband was somewhat pleased with his masseur, but you really should not waste your time visiting this place.

My husband and I went here for a couples Thai massage. They wash your feet and take you upstairs to a darkened room with curtains, where you have to get into these baggy type pj's. I don't have a lot of extra flesh on me and I found the pressure too much to start with, but after a few 'ouch, ohhh etc' she got the idea and did not press so hard. For an hour it cost 300 baht each, this is about £7 or $9 each. This is nothing for an hour of relaxation and their hard work. I would suggest you certainly give a reasonable tip as it is uncertain how much of that money these girls actually get to see. I would definitely recommend it as a massage place and certainly a lot cheaper than the 2000 Baht in our hotel, that is £45!

Don't bother with a foot massage. It had no pressure and clearly untrained. Stick to Thai massages if anything. Otherwise you're just paying for a one hour lotion rub.

I had a dreadful oil massage here in April. I would never go back. Thai massage may be safer. It didn't help that the masseuse and the manager spoke no English. I have had fabulous massages all over Bangkok that cost the same or less than this one. This one was dreadful - she did the same stroke six times and then another. None of the strokes was particularly useful. DONT go here for an oil massage! I actually walked out.
