We did a 4 day stopover as part of our Dubai and Hong Kong trip, but with so many tours we were unsure. We were drawn to this one given that we wanted to do and see specific, more personalised things in a short space of time rather than these massive tours that focus on taking you shopping.

We were given a private driver, Pat who was also our private tour guide and a luxurious vehicle.

He was friendly, funny and informative and took us to see the real Thailand and we had lunch at a local cafe in the countryside that was so authentic. As instructed he planned our trip so well, we went to Kanchanburi to see the Kwai Bridge, death Railway, Elephant Riding and the Tiger Temple (sadly no longer there). He knew all the tricks so we didn't get ripped off and didn't have to wait in line for long and the experience felt so authentic in the countryside as it wasn't in one of those tourist traps.

On day 2 he drove us to the floating market and pre informed us of how much a certain souvenir I wanted was so I didn't get ripped off. He even took us to the train markets and a few interesting points as a bonus.

Price was really reasonable for what we got compared to others and you will not be disappointed. Worth every penny!

Booked a 2 days tours with Tong. 1st day Floating market and Train market tour with Bangkok temples and another day for Ayutthaya tour. Both days were great. Our tour guides for 1st day was Ginnii and the 2nd day was Onn.
The best part of the tours were that our guides knows the history of the places and can tell you more or less depending on your interest in the topic. In our Ayutthaya tour Onn actually showed us the old maps of Ayutthaya on his tablet and shared with us the history of it from the beginning to the end. With the citation of exact dates.
During our trip back from floating market, we enquired about the river cruise. Ginnii was very proactive and helped us to call the tour operator to get the information for us. She also checked with Tong to see if she can get us cheaper price than online booking. Eventually Tong managed to get us the tickets for that night even when online booking showed full and at a slightly cheaper price.
I believe no matter where you visit most importantly is that you have a good guide who are engaged with Tour with Tong. It really does makes a huge difference on your holiday.

My wife and I booked a private tour that included the Floating Market, Elephant Sanctuary and zoo. This was an incredible day from start to finish and largely due to our fabulous tour guide, Bank. He provided great information along the way and ensured that all of our stops (to include lunch) were fun, exciting and very memorable. Since the locations are outside of Bangkok, it was a little bit of a long day, but really worth it. The floating market is a must do and we sampled some great delicacies on the boat as we made our way thru. Bank made some awesome food recommendations and also took us on a more local route versus just the heavy tourist route. At the end we were able to buy some very reasonably priced souvenirs which include a framed picture of my wife and I in the boat (more on that later).

After the floating market we trekked to the Elephant Sanctuary location and first had lunch at a local restaurant and feasted on a variety of Thai dishes. After lunch we went to the Sanctuary which was a once in a lifetime experience. The area is very large, great views and plenty of room for the elephants to roam. We spent time with two of the elephants and were able to feed them and just being around them was a delight. They are truly remarkable and Tong's care and love for the elephants is very evident.

When we made it back to Bangkok, we were exhausted but so happy we did this tour...it could not be beat. Oh, about that picture from the floating market. A day after the tour, we flew to Ko Samui for three days before returning home. On day one in Samui, the front desk alerted us that we had a call....it was Bank. We had inadvertently left our floating market picture in the van and he was calling so he could mail it to us in Samui. Unfortunately, we would not be in Samui long enough for the picture to arrive in time. Bank asked us for our connecting flight info thru Bangkok and arranged for a friend of his to meet us at the gate after we got off the plane to give us the picture! Thanks again, Bank and thanks to Tong for arranging an awesome tour!

We took the private full day tour to Ayutthaya with Onn. Onn was a great guide; informative and extremely knowledgable whilst also letting us enjoy the day at our own pace. He made sure to take loads of photos of us which was a nice added bonus as there were lots of lovely temples and buildings that wouldn’t have fit as well in a selfie!

The day was very long, however there was such a nice variety of stops to visit that the time flew by - we recommend paying the extra for the boat cruise along the river around the old city as it was so picturesque and a chance to relax and watch the world go by.

Drinks were provided throughout the tour and were kept in an ice box, they were nice to come back to after touring the temples!

We highly recommend this tour and thanks to Onn for taking the time to teach us about the history of Thailand

We definitely suggest booking with tour with Tong. Our family consists of one teen and three adults, we had emailed about the tour the night before. They were able to find a guide and accommodate our request for a more personalised tour which was great (plus it was very last minute)!

We had such an amazing private tour with Ginniii- she has such a great sense of humor and made the tour great fun, we all grew very fond of her. Every question we asked, she knew the answer and more, she couldn't have been any better. The tour lasted for around 5 hours, we payed for extra time as we wanted to see the canals and Ginniii happily took us round. The whole family enjoyed the day, we saw everything that we wanted to see and more.

Took my 2 teens on a day trip to Kanchanaburi and what an incredible day out it was! I would have loved to spend the night in Kanchanaburi so that we can visit more sights in the area but we had limited time in Thailand.

We were picked up at 7am and was back to the hotel by about 6pm. Despite the long car ride to and back from Kanchanaburi, I felt it was still worth it. We opted for the Big Cats package at Safari Park so that we can feed the baby cubs. Words can’t quite describe how special it is holding a tiger, lion and leopard cubs in your arms. These cubs were born at Safari Park and they look quite happy there! My kids however really enjoyed interacting with the birds in the small walk-in aviary at the park.

We also visited Elephants Home & Nature, a sanctuary for rescued elephants set up by Tong herself. Each elephant is paired with a carer and they are bonded for life. Its a very special relationship and I can tell how attached each elephant is to their carer. My kids didn’t want to get into the water, so we opted for a bareback ride, which is still very enjoyable and fun :)

This is my third time with Tourwithtong and we were not disappointed! Tong was very patient with my requests prior to the tour and it all worked out well. Pat, our guide who took us around was very friendly, knowledgeable and took us to a great local eatery in Kanchanaburi.

Thank you Tong and Pat!

Our third time we have used Tong Tours, whilst our 4 day stop over in Bangkok. Superb service and a knowledgable local 1 to 1 guide. We highly recommend this company for their proffesionalism. This time was different walking tour and using public transport visiting places we would never had known were there, if the guide had not took us there. Excellent 10/10 once agin Thank you

We have used Tong on several occasions and this time booked a tour to the old city at Ayutthaya.

Our guide Onn picked us up at our hotel and filled us in on route with some of the history. Onn is a brilliant guide and really knows his subject. He has a real passion for his work and likes to give you the interesting background facts to the sites you are visiting. We ate a local restaurant for lunch and had some lovely authentic local food.
One of the best tours we have done so far !

Our family of 4 had a great day out with Tours with Tong, Tong was very responsive to emails and to my multiple questions and requests for our private tour.
We were picked up on time by our tour guide Pat and driver at our hotel. Our tour was a day in Kanchanaburi - a visit to feed and cuddle some Lion and Tiger cubs, then to Elephants and Nature camp.
We spent a long time traveling from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi (almost 3 hours down and more on the way back) but it was worth it.
The time and experience with the 6 week old Lion cubs was the highlight for me, the cubs were just adorable, we were able to feed them some milk and have a cuddle. The next experience was with a 6 month old Tiger cub, a little scary but amazing. This one chewed some minced chicken smeared onto a fake bone. The trainer Lily and her team member guided us through the process and you could tell they were very experienced and loved what they do especially Lily. It was the best experience and I know how rare it was being able to cuddle 6 week old baby Lion cubs not one but two.
Next was the elephant camp, Pat explained some background that Tong and her friends set up this camp for elephants. Elephants eat a lot almost half their body weight each day. We were given opportunity to purchase small baskets of prepared food to feed the elephants which we happily did. Then we had a great time riding the elephants with their trainers down to the river for a bath and surprise swim. We were fully supervised the whole time and enjoyed this unique experience. Lots of laughter down by the river whiling scrubbing the elephants, trainers were cheeky and engaged with the whole family, Pat kindly took lots of videos and pictures. Afterwards the site had toilets and private showers to clean up and change clothes before trip back to Bangkok.
We bought our own food due to multiple food allergies. Overall highly recommend Tours with Tong, Pat was knowledgeable and entertaining. Tong was quick to respond to emails and questions.

We LOVED everything about our half day tour of Bangkok. Jerry was an absolutely fantastic guide, so knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. He organised a fabulous tour for us based on our list of things we wanted to see, and utilised public transport in the best possible way to make the most of our time. We really loved our time with him.

I want to make it very, very clear that the only reason I am not giving five stars has absolutely nothing to do with Jerry, but is solely based on the email interactions I had. I booked our tour back in May 2019, in preparation for our trip in January 2020. A week or so before our departure from Australia, I emailed Tong to confirm our tour. After several emails I still had no reply. When I finally did receive a reply, it was very “terse”. Basically, the email simply contained a copy of our booking details, with the message “I already sent you this in May”. I felt that that was quite a rude response, when all I wanted to do was to RECONFIRM my booking, just as I was doing for our hotel and transfer bookings etc, as it was a long time between booking and our actual tour date.

This was a bit of a sour note for me, however again I need to clarify this has nothing to do with Jerry, as he was an absolutely fabulous guide.
