This shopping mall is not only the biggest but also the most amazing one I have ever been to. Since the day it opened, I knew a fact that I must visit this place. I gave a big plus to this mall mostly because of the beautiful modern design from outside to inside. I have never seen anything special and unique like this one before, so it makes me overwhelmed as seeing it by myself. I go here twice, and everytime I visit, I never finish discovering tour. It has 7 floors in total, and each floor has different design. For example, in the lowest floor, its design follows classic Thai culture, like bringing you back to the past, you can find many local food as well as local products are sold here. I always spend 1-2 hours in this floor just for eating and taking pictures. Besides foods, this mall has all the stores from luxury to normal, I can find everthing here such as Channel, YSL, Tiffany, Bath and Body Works (my favorite one which has not opened in Vietnam yet)... Moreover, in the highest floor, there is a 15-meter tall waterfall which makes this place more special than ever. And there is one more place that I am so suprised as visiting, it is the restroom, very luxury from the light to the euipments. In the night time, around 8pm, there is a water music show in front of the mall by the river Chao Phaya, all I can say is very beautiful and colorful. You can get here by 2 ways, the first one is by taxi, and the second one is by the ferry which I recommend you to try so that you can sightsee the beauty of Thailand in different aspect. Words are not enough to describe this wonderful place, therefore, you should visit it once in your lifetime.

We arrive at the front door of Iconsiam by taxi and was greeted immediately by what appeared to be a floating market, water included. One cannot resist the street vendors tempting you with delicious exotic fruits, dried fish and other Thai street food served with so many different concoctions to make them even more appetizing. The prices are reasonable so I dare you to at least try the green sweet-sour mangoes! It is difficult to leave this area as there are so many interesting souvenir items to browse at and food offerings we would love to try. When I saw the ice cream stall on the right side of the hall, I had to have the coconut ice cream serve on a small fresh coconut, divine! Another dare for you!

The other areas have plenty of designer fashion and well known ready to wear chain stores. There were also areas where they sell locally made fashion and interesting home decors. What is truly interesting is the front part of the shopping mall on several levels where they have terraces overlooking stunning views of the Chao Praya river and city of Bangkok. Rest in one of these terrace restaurants with a long lunch before you embark again on more shopping. This is the best place to take your selfie with Bangkok in your background. Here you can almost touch Sirocco Sky Bar, the highest outdoor bar in the world, just accross the river.

Once you've done shopping, head out towards the riverfront for more selfies, here the lighting is also very good to make your skin look soft. To the right side of the waterfront is the boat you can take to go to BTS Sapan Taksin, it's free. If you have time to spare, there is also a light show in the early evening at the waterfront.
Happy ending... sunset is WOW!

One of the newest shopping malls in Bangkok. Super big and plenty to see. Wear comfortable shoes!
Go to IconSiam via ferry, so that you can have a good view of the iconic architecture from the Chao Phraya river!
First, we tooK BTS to Saphan Taksin on the Silom Line (dark green line), which was the station just before the BTS crossed the river. After alighting, we headed to Exit 2 (initially, my thought was to “follow the crowd”, but unfortunately, everyone was split in where they were heading lol) which led to the Sathorn Pier.
Thankfully, there were staff carrying signs for IconSiam herding us to the right queue. However, there were just those few fingers over there and signs were put up for which pier was used for which ferry. That being said, the staff’s assistance did help us to quickly reach the pier.
The wait for the ferry was about 10 minutes.
Take the left side of the ferry to have a good view of IconSiam as you are approaching it!

Absolutely visually stunning mall. Even if you cannot afford to purchase Chanel, Dior, Mcqueen, etc, it is worth visiting to see the incredible architecture and design features. The ground floor markets were beautiful and had great food options. Definitely will be back!

This is by far the best mall in Thailand. It has eight floors, including a “floating market” and sook on the ground level with so much to see and taste. There are many readings and cultural events to experience on this level as well, if you’re into that. Outside the ground floor is a multitude of restaurants, as well as a water/river-walk show that begins around 19:00 every Friday-Sunday evening. Super fun! On the first floor you have your luxury shops (Gucci, Prada, and Versace to name a few). The rest of the mall is a mix of other luxury brands and your normal brands such as H&M / Nike / Adidas etc). There are many other restaurants on the various levels, as well as a big movie theatre on floor six/seven. A rooftop bar is a must stop for the skyline view-and is also on the sixth floor. At the top is a conference center as well as an art museum that is cool to walk through. The mall itself is easy to get to, and ferries take you for free to cross the River. I recommend a whole day here! Spending the morning exploring the mall, the afternoon at the movies, and then the evening for the show and dinner! Love this mall!

I have been to this mall quite a few times, but i must admit that I prefer other malls than this one. This is too big and confusing, - and very high-end! During the last year we have tried several times to visit the museum on the 8th floor, and there is written on the information signs that the museum is on the 8th floor but so far it has been closed every single time we have been here, and the staff in the information desk seem that they have never heard about the museum. Also the staff on the information desk seem to understand quite limited English.

If one does not live close to the river, it is not worth to go here if one wants to go shopping. I find other shopping malls with just as good shopping and much more convenient access.

ICONSIAM was the biggest shopping mall I'd ever seen so far. Although it is a tourist destination (all luxury brands and their narcissistic followers with endless selfies), still a must-see in Bangkok. Just walking around the entire mall is taking hours if not all day. Ground floor has a food court mimicking Bangkok street food. The price there was very compatible to other food courts in the malls which was surprising. When you get off Saphan Taksin BST station, you will see two adjacent piers. The one in left has the free boat shuttle to Asiatique (Night Market [opens at 4PM]) and the one in right has the free boat shuttle to ICONSIAM.

If you are going to visit a mall in Bangkong make sure to stop by this place. This is definitely a high-end mall, they even have car dealerships inside the mall to include Porsche. Hang around the front and watch the water fountain show. It's no Burj Khalifa fountain show by any means but it's good enough to pass time. Look across the river and you might see Leslie Chow doing his thing at the Lebua Hotel and Sky Bar. Just don't F*ck on him cause he will definitely F*ck on you.

I am not one to hype up a mall, and to be honest I do not like malls. When we came to this mall though, it was quite impressive. There is a lot of choice in terms of well-known brands and shops, including shops like Apple. However there is another side to the mall which is more cultural and promoted the local foods and styles downstairs which was very well decorated and appealing. There are stalls for foods to snack on and fresh juice and ample spots to sit down and relax. I do not go on holidays to spend the time indoors but worth a visit if in the area just to walk around and snack or hide out on a rainy afternoon. There are also some decent views of the city by the river outside the mall (outside of the Apple store) - nice if you wanted some photos (on a clear day).

Sorry Dubai, but this place outranks you by far because it is not cold and all steel and marble like Dubai. This is really fun. The bottom floor is full of street food stands and souvenirs and there are very chique restaurants too. Then you have the top floors with every brand shop you can think of. The river boats stop at the Iconsiam too. We ate street food there often and once went to a more fancy restaurant. All great and the shopping was excellent too. They have a free shuttle bus that drops you off at the Thonburi Sky train station too.
