I had a great experience visiting the observation deck of the Mahanakhon building. It is located on a BTS stop, so it’s very convenient to get to.
The duty free shopping is good, it’s not as big as other King Powers in the city, but...More
There is no doubt that the Mahanakhon is one of the most iconic buildings in the Bangkok skyline, so naturally I couldn’t wait to see the views from the top. My husband and I went up the Mahanakhon in the evening about 7pm, just after...More
If you visiting Bangkok it should be on you list. Expensive though-1530 Baht for two adult tickets. Be ready to go through the security similar to the airport one before they let you in. You must know that you cannot take any water with you....More
The sky walk at King Power Mahanakhon Tower I would suggest is a must do for any visitor to Bangkok. Contrary to some previous reviews we experienced no congestion and the staff were friendly, well trained and spoke perfect English. In my opinion the trick...More
Definitely worth a visit. The glass bottomed skywalk is amazing. 360 deg View of Bangkok at 324 metres is stunning. Bangkok is a city with a plethora of beautiful and unique tall buildings. Architectural wonders.
The MahanaKhon is just being finished. it is owned and operated by king duty free. There is a facility to go experience the top of the building for a price. there is also a glass skywalk on the top floor.
We started our first full day in Bangkok with this. The sky was crystal clear and the views with breathtaking of the city. You could see for miles. We went right when the place opened and it was not crowded at all. I recommend visiting...More
Not to miss! A bit pricey to take the elevator up to the observation deck and bar, but worth every baht. The elevator is an experience in itself. One of the fastest in the world. You are surrounded by a video/sound feature that blows your...More
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
