The house is in a wonderful park setting in central Bangkok. You can just walk around the park which has a number of really nice restaurants and take a personalised tour of the house which we did, it lasts about 50 minutes. The tour of the house was well worth it. The is a beautiful building constructed througout in teak, you get to find out the background as to whom built it and why and also learn about where the very large collection.of artefacts came from. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand.

The park is located in CBD of Bangkok so it is an excellent place to take a break from the crowd. Highly recommend for a stroll (enter is free of charge) as the greenery and garden are beautiful and well taken care of.

There is a guided tour provided for those who want to go up the teakwood house. The ticket was 250thb for adult (100thb for students). The tour was pleasant and informative. It provided a glimpse into emerging Bangkok in early modern Thailand through the family's history. The woodwork and architectural detail of the house were the highlight for me. Truly enjoyed my time there.

You have to book a guided tour via the website. Depending upon which street side you arrive from can be a bit tricky too find ! However, peaceful setting of Nai Lert park (actually the area is quite small and really a garden). The heritage house is fascinating as is the story of the family. Had an excellent guide with fluent English and knowledgeable about the history of Nai Lert family and business. Couple of coffee/ dining options within the grounds though we didn’t try those. Well worth spending a couple of hours here

It's difficult to think there might still be a hidden gem of an attraction in the middle of Bangkok, but Nai Lert Heritage Home is indeed such a place. The magnificent gardens, canals and home (over 20,000 sq mtrs in total) are tucked away directly behind the British Embassy compound (and Central Embassy shopping center). The manicured gardens and Thai bungalow style Residence have been in this location for over 100 years, having been built by Nai Lert, one of Thailand's earliest and most successful entrepreneurs. Amongst his most successful ventures was establishing Bangkok first bus service, which was subsequently bought by the government. You can even view one of the original buses, on exhibit near the entrance to the grounds. The only drawback of Nai Lert Park are the very limited opening hours - Thursday and Friday only, from 11am-4pm. And, often during these opening times there are restrictions if the Park is booked for a private function. Which, often it is. But don't let this discourage a visit. Simply phone ahead to ensure full access is available when you're planning to go. The park also has two lovely restaurants adjoining the entrance, one Thai, one Western, and these are open independent of the more restricted hours of the Park itself. Nai Lert Park is truly an Oasis in the center of Bangkok.

We went to see the flower show at Nai Lert Park Heritage home on Sunday. The park was well-maintained and beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The home is amazing but small. The flower displays were beautiful.

Worth a day trip here to relax and soak in this historic place. Much of this heritage home has been kept in original state or reconstructed to mimic the real thing. Some cool dining establishments here too

This park is full of local tastes especially within flowers exhibition. There are various local booths with lovely handicrafts, streetfoods along the pond, musical performance and historical boutiques inside Heritage Home. Restaurants in sunny rooms are also apealing. After visit, there is a trendy food mall within walking distance to comfort your heat and stomach, which make this tour more unforgettable.

This is a pleasant oasis in the part of Bangkok near the Swiss Embassy, the gardens are beautifully laid out, and on this occasion was host to the Annual Flower Show. The museum was open and well attended, with guides to explain every aspect of a Thai noble's life. Other exhibits were tastefully displayed, and food was available if required. A delightful day.
