Nice to visit amidst the hustle and bustle. Heritage mixed with some nice boutique shops and nice eateries. Maybe a place to visit for an hour or so to take a break from things.

This renovated and unique venue has only been open for about 10 months. Therefore it is still off the beaten track and rather quiet. It is a beautiful restored row of old Chinese warehouses that host now various shops and restaurants. You can reach it...More

Nice quiet place to stroll around in busy Bangkok. Walk from China town and take a boat across the river.

Great photo shoot site. View ancient Chinese family Roots that helps build Thailand and its Economy. A bit expensive shop and restaurants. Better come by Express Boat.

An insight into life in Bangkok in the distant past (can't recall how old the buildings are). Details on the buildings are no longer vivid but the essense is there. Something 'different' to see and do in Bangkok, a nice change for a place well...More

My friend advised me to come there to see another Chinese culture in Bangkok. This space made me memorize an old riverside hamlet. So beautiful architect, so relaxing music and fresh wing from the river. They also had a documentary film about Lhong 1919 for...More

Great landmark in Bangkok - No admission fee This free entry attraction has become my new favorite spot in town. It's located next to Chao Pra Ya river, hence, you can access by both ferry and car. This old warehose and Chinese shrine were built...More

I paid 50 Baht for the tourist boat from the Sathorn Pier to Lhong 1919 on Sunday evening. The river views are good. Lhong is beautiful and decorated with Chinese arts. I had dinner at Rongsi three times. It was beautiful at sunset.

Two different creatures: Asiatique is sprawling and touristy, although it has its charms. Historically, it is a renovation of a lot of a Danish shipping company's docks, although you don't see much if any of that. Lhong... More

I think I'm accurate in saying Lhong1919 isn't open at night. It wasn't when we were there in July. Maybe check their website for opening hours. It is definitely worth a visit though. Incredible restoration and history. Not... More

Yup, it's the easiest. The Blue Flag (Hop On Hop Off) ferry from Sathorn (Saphan Taksin) Pier. Tell the crew that you're goiing to Lhong. Fare is 50 Baht.
