Address
Neighborhood: Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.

Great place with friendly dogs and staff.
Feb 2020
Please ignore the “i felt sorry of the dogs” reviews. One thing is for sure the dogs are well taken care off, well fed, groomed and taken care off. My Girlfriend and i have a wonderful experiences there and spend 2 hours play with the dogs and didn’t regret taking the detour to this cafe as she enjoyed herself so much she didn’t want to leave.

One thing is for sure after the ban is lifted and the virus dies down we’ll be back...

What a treat
Feb 2020 • Friends
I’ve never been to anything like this before so it was a real treat for me. On arrival the dogs were already out in the garden playing. We had to pay an entrance fee per person which included a drink of you choice. Some options require a small supplement. Inside the dogs roam free and seem to be delighted to interact with the customers. They are in beautiful condition and you can see their delight in the attention they are receiving. Everyone is taking photo’s so I guess if it’s busy it could get a little crazy. The staff encourage the dogs to pose for photos but you can just see they are loving the attention. We all had smoothies which were delicious too. Get experience but not sure it’s somewhere you would want to visit on a regular basis.

Wonderful dog cafe with friendly dogs and staff
Dec 2019
First thing I want to highlight is IGNORE THE DUMB REVIEWS THAT FEELS SORRY FOR THE DOGS.
I had a wonderful experience here. The dogs here are well fed and taken care by the staff over there because their furs are healthy and well kept (signs of a healthy and stress free dog). How I look at it, the dogs just needs to be themselves to get food, shelter over their heads and excellent treatment, so taking photos with them when they are in the mood isn't too much to ask of them. As for dogs that are not in the mood to take photos, the staff will be well aware and allow them to rest. The picture sessions are actually scheduled so the dogs don't get stressed out. I think some reviewers or visitors don't understand dogs' attitude and sleeping schedule, thus thinking that the dogs are mistreated.

I felt sorry for the dogs
Aug 2019
I went with three kids to visit the dogs but I felt sorry for the dogs there. They all looked hot and tired and were just lying down but there was nowhere for them to escape to, so they couldn’t rest. Felt like too many people and too many dogs in such a small space. Dogs were worn out and didn’t want to interact. Cafe workers made them pose with customers for photos. Everyone was trying to feed them treats which the dogs weren’t really interested in as I guess they’d been eating them all day. Some of the dogs looked rather overweight. Wouldn’t return.

Lovely afternoon with fluffy friends
Aug 2019
I visited "Dog in town" at Ari branch....which I couldn't find it in Tripadvisior.
So i am gonnna write it here anyway in case anyone is interested to visit Ari branch.
Please be at the cafe at 11 am, the opening time, to avoid the crowd.
First of all, all dogs are well fed and in a very good health.
Second, the staff are very helpful. They can help if you want a good selfie with the dogs.
You just paid 350 Baht then you get unlimited time to be close with pets and have one drink. An extra payment (not mandatory) is for dog snack to lure all cuties to be close with you.
The breed of dogs here are samoyed, husky, french bulldog, poodle, chiba-inu and corgi (browse my photo for more explanation).
The staff will line up all dogs for all customer to take selfie....so be patient.

The best dog cafe so far 2019
Aug 2019 • Family
We travel to BKK every year. We must research then visit animals/dog cafe. So far until this Aug2019 "Dog in Town Ari" is the best! Clean, friendly staffs, friendly furry child and the main thing is...you can see those furry child are happy! Staffs treat them good, can tell their relationship are pretty good.
1.So easy to find, BTS...just follow the instruction they give you WALK slowly about 10mins.
2.No time limit!
3.Have entrance fees(including 1drink).
Better wear socks even though they will give you the plastic cover.

I felt bad for the dogs
Jul 2019 • Friends
I would not recommend this cafe at all. There were way too many people and the dogs just laid on the ground the whole time. They seemed super sleepy and low on energy. The staff continuously gave the dogs treats so that all the Asian tourists can take pictures with the dogs but at some point the dogs wouldn’t even take the treats anymore. The staff sometimes pushed the dogs for no reason and it was easy to see that the dogs just wanted to get away from that crowd of people. The cafe is not for dog lovers, it’s for people who only care about the perfect instagram picture.

Sad - do not visit!
Jul 2019 • Friends
Dogs are not left to roam. They are forced to sit at the front of the cafe whilst patrons queue to take photographs with them. Staff did not let dogs sleep when customers wanted to have their photograph taken with them. Left straight away and was given a refund.

Last time a year ago I visited there and everything was amazing, but this time everything was changed they ONLY wanted money(300thb) that even go in to the cafe and last time it was free. This time it only feels like they want money not care about dogs and people come to have good time with the dogs. It makes me extremely sad that it changed. Won’t go there ever again if it’s only making money to people see dogs it should be free and then you by your food there and give some love to the dogs.

Perfect place for dog lovers !
Jun 2019 • Friends
I’ve been here a few time and still my favourite dog cafe in Bangkok. All the dog are cute and friendly ! You can also cuddle with them.
Recently this cafe has entrance fee cost 300baht and you’ll get a drink with no spending time limit. It still worth for me to go and will always come back again :)
