The area
Address
Neighborhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Personalized, professional experience; 5-stars, would recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at Quan Spa (Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park) the past weekend with the 1-hr aromatherapy Thai oil massage treatment. It began with a delicate & rejuvenating footwash of kaffir lime slices, after which my very professional and knowledgeable therapist Pat launched into a treatment tailored to my body type and muscle/tendon responses. She also shared many useful bits of knowledge throughout the session. We chatted a bit, but by the end of the session, which concluded with some head acupressure, I felt so relaxed that I had fallen asleep. The rooms are lovely, equipped with a spacious shower and closet, and even a singing bowl. The welcome drinks and goodbye drinks are delicious, and the receptionists very polite as well. One of the highlights is also the nice scents and hot oil used during the treatment which include a mix of mint and olive oil. Definitely worth it if you're seeking a relaxing and professional spa experience in the heart of the city. I will be back to try their spa room with onsen (suitable for two persons).

Amazing Thai Massage
Jun 2019 • Solo
I went to Quan for a Thai Heritage Massage and really enjoyed it. Without a doubt it is pricey compared to other massages in Bangkok. However, the place is clean, the staff very professional and the massage divine, so worth every penny.

Superb relaxing massage
Jan 2019 • Solo
Was a guest at the hotel and decided to try their promo : a free 30mins foot massage with a 60mins oil massage. Super friendly staff, treated to a cold towel and a drink before before proceeding to spacious and beautifully decorated room. Massage was near perfect, totally destressing me, credit to the masseuse, too bad forgotten to get her name. After the massage again treated to tea and cut fruits! Would come again when I next in Bkk!

Nice ambience.
Apr 2018 • Couples
Spa is nice with friendly staff. Were served drinks and cold towel before treatment. Room was spacious with nice view as spa is located on the 23rd floor of the hotel. Massage was so so. Asked for soft to medium but it ranged from soft to hard and were not very even and symmetry. Asked to concentrate on back and stomach but in the end, the masseur did more on legs so why asked in the first place? Didn't fall asleep during the whole treatment cos not very enjoyable. Was not served drinks at the end of treatment. Other places do as you tend to feel thirsty after a session. Overall, disappointing experience as I expected a lot more for the price I paid as compared to the cheap and mid range massage centers.

Best Massage Ever by Dear
Apr 2018 • Solo
I was a guest at Marriott Marquis Queen's Park and decided to go down for a massage. Spa was lovely, staff was so kind and attentive, and Dear did a great job with my 90 minute massage. I would highly recommend and might just come back again before the end of my stay. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality and professionalism of the massage. Very pleased!

Lovely experience at Quan Spa
Jan 2018 • Solo
I went to Quan Spa after a long, stressful day at work and it was the perfect way to end my day. Upon entering the venue, I was greeted by Bowie, the very friendly hostess, who explained the different treatments available and showed me the different scrubs that are used for body scrub treatments, as well as the benefits of each particular scrub. As someone who is quite naive about these things, I found this very helpful. She also brought out juice, while I waited for the treatment room to be ready. I chose the Prana Lemongrass Body Scrub, followed by a 90 minute hot stone massage.

When I entered the treatment room, room 8, there was calming music playing in the background and the room had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing ambience to it, which is important. Before the body scrub and the massage, there was a relaxing foot soak. After the foot soak came the body scrub. The body scrub left my skin feeling nice and soft. And the highlight for me, the hot stone massage, was the final treatment. This massage was simply amazing! It was my first experience with hot stone massage, but it definitely will not be my last. It left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated, which is exactly what I needed. The masseuse, Natty, was knowledgeable and attuned to making sure the pressure used for each treatment was just right. She was even kind enough to recommend another treatment for my next visit to Quan Spa.

After the massage, I was greeted with hot tea and some light refreshments in the lobby, which was the perfect way to end a lovely experience at Quan Spa. The value for your money is quite good, too. I will definitely visit again.
