The area
Address
Neighborhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
How to get there
  • Asok • 6 min walk
  • Sukhumvit • 9 min walk

Very bad experience
Oct 2019
Just have a thai massage there in a few minuted ago. I really never have a experience like that. 450 bth for 60 minutes. I think "ok a little bit expensive than the street price, should be better service or experience than the others."
but no, the woman who served me was arrogant and no experience. Bellow is my bad experience:

1) When I changed the cloth, she opened my door and come in when I told her that I am not ready please wait outside.

2) when I asked for tea she come in whith 2 cold cup of water

3) told her that the massage is too strong for me, please be gentle and she say yes but still using the same technic.

4) the room was too cold, after comment still no changed ( was like a Mortuary)

5) her hands was also too cold, like an ice. Normaly in the other massage space. The therapist will warm the hands before start the massage

6) one of part of the massage is putting the hot towel in your neck and shoulder. But they will check the temperature before. And here they havent check. Just put the damn hot towel in my skin until I screamed for the hurt. (and havet say sorry for that)

So please listen to me, DON'T TRY/COME,
because you'll regret it!

I had too high expectations..
Jul 2019 • Couples
By the 8 excellent reviews here om Tripadvisor I Think I had too high expectations when visiting Y Spa. The location is fine, semi-close to Asok BTS station but perhaps not really walking distance. Once I arrived I was greated by polite and helpful staff, no complaints from my end. He was thorough when explaining how the spa works and where the fitness area is located. I paid 550 baht for spa and fitness was included in the price. The locker room was clean and the lockers are opened by the electronic bracelets acquired when paying the entrance fee. I changed and went to the "gym/fitness"-area in the 11th floor. It's a joke if you lift weights. If you like cardio-machines you're alright. No music, no maintenance, no staff present. You can play basketball 1 on 1. It had an area for batting practice that wasn't operational. A room for golf practice that was closed. The wall climbing machine looked offline. Nothing was online.
The spa is a japanese inspired sentou bath house. You're provided with two sets of towels and disposable underwear. The shower area is clean and comes with with a bath tub and dry sauna. The mixed zone contains different bath tubs. This area that is meant for both genders is the reason for the disposable underwear. Everything is clean. The different rooms like the coal room, hot, Cold, salt room etc weren't all operational, some were out of order. Some patrons didn't abide by the dresscode inside these rooms which was kinda disrepectful. Perhaps the staff should take some rounds inside the facilities and remind the guest that aren't following the rules?
Y Spa is not maintained properly which is a shame. I wouldn't recommend the gym at all and the onsen is not impressive.

I visit Y-Spa just because I stay at the Column hotel and Y-spa is part to this hotel. I didn't expect much from the spa in the hotel however Y-Spa have 'WOW' me big time. They aren't just spa like I expected. First of all, The place is huge because they have what called onsen inside too. but they have more than just spa and onsen. They also have the rooms that I can spend endless time there relaxing and enjoy reading or take a nap or meditation which is they have the BIG himalayan salt room- the whole room is pink and relaxing. I listen to my music and took a nap here. Then I tried the room with the Japanese name but I don't remember exactly what it called. But it smell soooooooooooooo nice. So refreshing, and feeling it help clearing my nose making me breath much better. Then the hot and cold room, the charcoal room and the red clay room.

Then I also join pilates class with sooooooooooooo cheap price but quality of the trainer is not cheap.

The gym is huge with basketball court and tennis court and then huge swimming pool. Rock climbing.

SO functional to spend relaxing time on my own during the business trip break.
