About
Khaosan Comedy Club, AKA “The world’s most multicultural comedy club,” features side-splitting comedy shows in the famous backpackers’ paradise of Khaosan Road, located on the ground floor of the Khaosan Park Resort, inside the “Khaosan Park Hotel & Shopping” arcade. At 6pm you can see the improv comedy show, which is appropriate for all ages and fun for the whole family. The later shows (usually 8, 9, or 10 PM depending on the day), feature the best standup comedians around, are best suited to adult audiences. Professional and up-and-coming comics from all over the world, whether they are based in Asia or are merely traveling from afar can be found performing at this one-of-a-kind comedy club. Sharing a space with “Khaosan Theatre”, on some afternoons there are workshops in which participants can learn different performance-related skills, and are attended by tourists and locals alike.

Me and my girlfriend were howling at the jokes, like, screaming laughing at how good it was! We got fries and a drink with the entrance ticket and it was beyond worth it. I recommend anyone coming to khaosan/bangkok to come to this place, and you should also stay when the show is over because having a conversation with these guys is as good of a time as the show itself. One of my best memories from thailand overall!

Great value especially when compared to other shows around khao San. The entrance fee was 300baht and that included a drink and fries. A great mix of comedians from all over, didn't stop laughing all night. Even after the show the laughs continue as the comedians will hang around and have a drink with you. A must visit for any trip to Bangkok!

Saw some dudes on Khoasan road promoting the place. Few hundred Baht with included a free drink so we had to check it out. Me and my girlfriend who isn't really that into comedy were absolutely creased. A wide range of comedians with all different styles and topics. Chris was my favourite. Had some very dirty jokes to say the least. My favourite was the "Busting a nut" joke he made. I was dead after that. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

The show consisted of 5-6 comedians who had very different styles. My partner and I were not very keen on partying and the whole Khao San road scene so this was a great way to enjoy ourselves at night. In fact it was probably the highlight of our whole Bangkok experience and has contributed to a few good running jokes we have about Bangkok. Would recommend.
Also we got a free beer each with the ticket.

There is something for everyone with different acts/styles performing from all over the world.
I went twice during my stay in Bangkok and had a great time on both nights.
At the price you pay you can't buy a better show in Bangkok. The comics are very friendly and it's a great place to meet people if you're traveling solo.
Make sure to hang around after the show as the night only gets better.

We anticipated more from this show. For us the jokes were too dirty. I understand that there is a lot happening in the Bangkok nightlife - of which you can make jokes. But since we are not really into that, we tried to avoid it by visiting a comedy show rather than a pingpong show. Some jokes are really funny - thank you for those, but it's 60% dirty jokes, which is just not our cup of tea.
The gin and tonics are nice and the guys were friendly people. Show started 9.20 and took about 2 hours. John was the best. The fries were very salty and crispy.
If you consider going to this show, just be ready for a lot of dirty jokes.

Even with a small audience these guys make a very good show.
Nice interaction with the public.

what a great show and great atmosphere. great place to go if you just need a break from the kaos going on outside on Khaosan road. you pay a small fee which gives you a beer and the show. you basically by a beer and get a show for free.
the place takes at least 50 sitting guests and everybody becomes part of the show in one way or another.
And everything is in English in case you thought you weren't a tourist.
Just go there. support this place and have a real good time!

Ive been to Khaosan road many times, its always the same-- Arrive in Bangkok, find cheap hotel on Khaosan, sleep off some of the jet lag, walk the streets one night and people watch (drunk tourists, lady boys, Nic-nack shopping, street food etc), and get out of there to more enticing places in Thailand ASAP!
This time was different, I saw signs of 'comedy show' and was given a flier- 200bhat for the show which included a drink. Sure, why not I like comedy. Good choice!
The venue was simple, small and intimate, drinks were fair priced, and a range of funny comedians doing their thing. Afterwards, we hung out with the other patrons and comedians, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, and had great conversation all night. Made some new friends, had a great time, and got to laugh at people who were actually trying to be funny! (Usually we just laugh at the drunk tourists stumbling down Khaosan road with ladyboys in hot pursuit, this was much better)
Next time and every time im on Khaosan Rd, ill pay the comedy club a visit-- you should too!

Is this an adult only thing or can teens be in there?

We have an earlier improv comedy show that can be suitable for all ages. With regards to the later standup comedy show:
The comedians use adult language and discuss adult subjects. We’ve definitely had teens there with parents, and they’ve loved the show, but it is not appropriate for everyone. Although nobody who has brought their children has ever walked in out disgust (yet) , we’ve definitely had some adults that we found to be incompatible with the environment (mostly Ozzies).

Folks, is it necessary to make booking if I plan to catch the show on a Friday night? How long is a typical show? Is it easy to get a taxi, or Grab to get back to hotel in Chinatown? Thanks.

Everybody has it right, just show up! No need to make reservations unless you have a group of 6 or more and they'll happily accommodate 😁👍
