A Fun Attraction for Kids of All Ages
Jan 2018 • Family
This is a very nice model train display, which can be enjoyed by kids or adults alike. It is big and has sections representing different places in the world from a European city to the Great Wall of China. The scale used is HO; however, some things are not in exact scale. Given that this is Thailand where model shops are not plentiful, it is understandable. Overall, there was a high degree of care and skill in making the displays. They will stamp your hand, so if you take the kids in the morning, you can go our for lunch and come back in again later. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops in the mall.

Really only good for children (5-7 yrs)
Aug 2017 • Family
This is a grab bag arrangement of miniatures sloppily and haphazardly arranged. For example: disproportionately sized pirate galleons float near what is supposed to be a modern port, fantasy princess figurines in ball gowns are sprinkled generously on a beach scene. With one exception, the trains were Thomas the Train. The other train was a urban electric overhead wire train that had no business pulling freight.

Modelist usually pride themselves on the reasonable accuracy of their scenarios. That is what makes looking at them fun. This set up was like a garage sale with very little eye for detail.

The normal price for adults is 450 Baht. Children are 250 Baht depending on height. That's very expensive for the experience. I think that is what I found to be disappointing. The very young children there seemed to enjoy it.

There is a playroom at the end of the exhibit with giant rubber blocks to build with and climb on. The back of the room smelled strongly of urine.

Interesting...

It is a fairly large set of miniature towns that occupy part of the second level of a shopping mall. It is a good experience for families, especially if you are interested in model trains.
