- ZandyyLondon, United Kingdom155 contributionsGood but way overpricedWe had an hour to kill in Siam Centre and this looked like it will fit the bill with our kids aged 5 and 3. Queue was long and slow. When we reached the till we were pretty shocked to hear the prices, they would have been high even for similar attractions based in Europe. The kids wanted in by then so there was no turning back. The place is actually well maintained and well set out, the kids had a blast, but it's not very big at all and we couldn't see how one can spend more than an hour or maybe 90mins tops there. There were a lot of people there too so not the most relaxing experience. Overall as a tourist I'd recommend avoiding this attrraction, you'll come across better such places for more affordable prices in pretty much any other large city.Visited January 2023Written January 7, 2023
- sarafashishNew Delhi, India28 contributionsNice placeNice place to spend a couple of hours, specially if you are visiting with kids. Try to match your timings with the feeding shows. Tip: Buy your tickets in advance. At the location they offer a combined ticket only along with the Madam Tussaud museum so if you dont want to go there you will waste some money.Visited June 2022Written June 29, 2022
- Jade18 contributionsSea life centre Bangkok best sea life centre we’ve visited! We visited as a family of 5 mix age children 7,10,14 and all had a brilliant time. The shows were all good although hard to understand what they were saying but funny and enjoyable to watch especially the shark show! Someone mentioned about the animals being locked up and yes it would be nice to see them in their natural habitat but they seem very well looked after and it’s nice to be able to see such a variety of ocean life and tropical animals that we would never get to see normally other than on the t.v. We’ve visited a lot of sea life centres before this is far better than any we have been too. We were there for about 3 hours. It’s situated in the basement of a shopping complex.Dear Jadey198626, Thank you very much for your comments on your recent visit. So glad to hear that you enjoyed our amazing discovery. They boast that they have 50,000 animals but in this small space, you can see they are overcrowded and those poor otters and penguins that never see sunlight? It's tragic. I wish I had never visited. - Andrew BHighland Park, Illinois94 contributionsA bit pricy for the size of the aquariumPerhaps I have been spoiled by some US aquariums (like the Shedd aquarium in Chicago in particular) but this aquarium did not seem to be very big. For the price they charged (over 30 USD), I did not think that it was worth it. The aquarium has some cool fish and I enjoyed the octopus at the beginning. If you like aquariums and don't care about budget then you can go but it's definitely not a must-see attraction.Dear Andrew B, Thank you very much for your comments on your recent visit. - siuling138 contributionsPretty averageSea Life was ok, nothing spectacular. Rather expensive if you compare the non-local fee to the local fee. However, it's a decent option if you need to escape the heat! Took my 7 and 9 year old kids who enjoyed it. They were hoping to see jellyfish and a whale shark (there were none)... We got there as soon as it opened and so there were no queues. We spent about an hour there in total. Might have been able to stretch it a bit longer if we didn't go so early and watch some of the animal feedings. We didn't go on the glass bottom boat out watch the 4D movie. Our tickets included the Madame Tussauds experience which was located nearby (two shopping malls away but very walkable).Visited June 2022Traveled with familyWritten June 27, 2022

What's most upsetting for me is "Diving with Sharks". They should cancel this program. The only way to dive with sharks is in the real ocean, in their natural habitat, not in the tank.Dear Wichayaprom, Thank you very much for your comments on your recent visit. We are disappointed to hear that your visit with us did not meet your expectations. About Dive with the shark experience, it is the spot activity that many tourists interested. We’re trying so hard to manage this activity to get our guest have a great experience. Bangkok Sea Life Ocean World is undoubtedly one of the finest destinations I have had the pleasure of visiting. This remarkable attraction boasts an impressive array of marine species, captivating visitors with its modernized interior design. However, it is worth noting that the only minor drawback lies in the slightly steep price of the entrance ticket.

The aquarium is located in the basement of the Siam Paragon shopping complex in the center of Bangkok.
Tickets are ordered online in advance. There is a long wait in line.
The aquarium is not very large, but well designed and laid out.
There are quite a lot of people, but no one interferes with the viewing.
It is air conditioned and has toilets inside.
You can spend interesting 1-2 hours with pleasure, especially if you come with children.
Feeding penguins is very interesting. It's good to try to get there at this time.
They offer a combined ticket with Madame Tussauds on site; we decided without Tussauds.
A walk through the gallery inside the large aquarium is mesmerizing.
Overall very good, but overpriced.

Sea Life is one of best aquariums we visited from all we visited around the world. Our 20 month daughter loves zoos safaris and aquariums and this on was a special one with many different species.
Only thing I didnt like was that we couldnt reenter with same ticket on same day.

Hi. No, thats not allowed. But i had gone for a 5pm tour which is late saver, it was less cost. U have early saver, i think that allows u to go from opening to 12pm. But sealife n madame Tussauds ticket are available in combo as both are in 1 complex. So u can save time n money in that.

Having picnic inside? No.
But snacks and drinks are allowed as long as they are in your bag.
Your bag is kept with you, you can just open it and grab a bite anytime.
