The area
Address
Neighborhood: Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.

Great Onsen
Dec 2020 • Solo
Beautiful and Quiet Onsen. Facilities are kept clean and are in very good condition. I visit this facility multiple times per week for the Onsen. I would highly recommend.

Spa in the hotel
Mar 2020 • Solo
There is a staff with very bad attitude. Also I was refused to get hotel discount because I checked out before I visited here. I stayed the hotel for one week and I feel heavily betrayed by this treatment. But spa was okay.

Excellent onsen experience
Jan 2020
I can mid-day on a weekday. I did not make a reservation and the only availability for a Thai massage was 3+ hours after I arrived, so I opted to just do the onsen instead.

I love visiting spas while traveling and this one was up there with the best! (The other onsens I visited in Bangkok are Yunomori and Panpuri Wellness, both great too).

The check-in process was quick and easy from getting slippers & an onsen kit and finding my locker in the change room. The facilities are spacious and impeccably clean. There is a handy onsen guide on the wall with instructions for newbies.

The women's onsen was beautiful with both indoor and outdoor areas. There are several baths with different properties, plus a steam room and sauna. There are great thoughtful details, for example, fresh towels in ice to cool off with after a steam. There are also benches and seating areas to take a break between hot/cold cycles. Large clocks in the onsen area make sure you don't miss your appointment if you did book a treatment.

The toiletries in the shower area smell amazing and are for sale in the boutique.

Once you are done in the wet area, you change into the PJ's they give you and head to the hot stone room, cooling off room and finally the relaxation room. The hot stone/cool room are unique to this onsen (Yunomori and Panpuri don't have this feature). The relaxation room is silent, except for people snoring as many fall asleep quickly from being so relaxed!

There are plenty of towels, cups with lemon water, and staff around if you need anything. Don't forget to hang out in the reception area and try some of their coconut and mango cookies after you leave!

Even if going just for the onsen, you can have a relaxing afternoon here for excellent value. If you want to save a few baht, you can purchase your entry on the gobwabi app.

It is a 15 mins. walk from the Thonglor BTS station. The hotel also has a free shuttle/tuk tuk service, but I am not sure if it is only for hotel guests or if spa guests can use it.

Big band is not always good!
Jan 2020
I booked a Heavenly Package (2hr Thai Massage & 45mins Foot Massage), arriving on time waited for 15mins to be served. Understood as that's peak. The lady massager was unprofessional, the skills was so poor and definitely no focus and no passion for her work at all. She even finished the massage before the package time. If I can score zero I would have done so but unfortunately it's not allowed.

Not recommend to those who has expectation on service quality, absolutely not value for money.

Ugh - what a disappointment
Dec 2019 • Solo
I was so looking forward to a massage and relaxing in the onsen before an international flight. Unfortunately my bus coming from Ko Samet was very late, so I was about 15 minutes late to my appointment, they were able to accommodate a later appointment time slot, which was much appreciated. Well, the masseuse was clearly in a rush, and certainly not very friendly, which resulted in one of the least relaxing massages I’ve had in 3 months traveling in SE Asia( and one of the most expensive) because of her fast and sometimes painful technique, which completely excluded my arms and head, both of which are usually included in a Thai massage. Okay, fine - I was disappointing, but maybe she was having a bad day, and it was late, who knows. Because I was getting on an overnight flight, I asked where the shower was and was told I should put my clothes on and ask the front desk. Okay, annoying, but fine. I get to the front desk and ask if I can take a shower, and she informs me I will have to pay 200 baht to take a shower. Seriously?!?! I have never been to a spa that makes you pay to take a shower!! It wasn’t about the 200 baht, but the principle of the matter - terrible customer service on what was supposed to be a relaxing evening. Make sure you use the restroom before you go, for all I know they charge for asking to use that as well.

What a place for massage and relaxation!
Nov 2019 • Solo
Nestled along Sukhumvit soi 55 in the Grande Centrepoint, this is one place that one can find zen and tranquility away from the crowd. (Of course I came on a weekday afternoon, can’t be sure what’s a weekend like.)

There are 4 onsen pools in the facility, with steam and sauna rooms too. What I really like are the hot stone room and resting room - can just switch off and enjoy the quietness.

Definitely a must to try the massages here. I was glad I’ve got Saranya as my therapist. Her strokes are long and strong, easily relieving those aching muscles. One of the best massages I’ve had for a long while.

Here they serve mango sticky rice after your massage. Not the best since the mango I’ve had wasn’t sweet at all but you seldom find places that provide Thailand’s famous dessert after massage.

If you have half a day to really relax, here’s a good place to be. Better to book your massage sessions first because you may not get one especially for aroma oil massages.

Amazing Japanese onsen
Nov 2019 • Solo
The place is on 5 th floor of a hotel. They charge 700 bar for onsen only which is
Reasonable . The onsen is very authentic Japanese style which has soda bath, jacuzzi, silk bath, hot siring bath, cold bath, steam room and sauna. Great place to relax yourself.
