Love shopping here as things are relatively cheap and you can get great deals. Only thing that you need to accept is that no fitting/trying clothes is allowed. But we had so much fun shopping. Location is very convenient to get to as it is in the center of Bangkok. We took a nice pedestrian bridge walk from Chitlom BTS station. The food court is not fully open as many tenants had left due to Covid. We sincerely hope that things will get back to normal very soon.

Visiting the mall since the last time I was here . There have been many changes . But I have to say it’s either a comfort to see Bangkok is being proactive in having screening measures to prevent any infection in the wake of the virus that is in every ones mind . Once that being done the mall was again a good place to visit & did some good shopping.

Paragon mall is very popular for shopping inexpensive clothes, bags and accessories. You can always ask for discount so don't settle on what is written on the placards of every shop. You can find the same items in other shops and they can be cheaper so it's also advisable to look around first before you buy.

One of the many malls along the Skywalk, the air-conditioned mall is dedicated to fashion. It has stores selling clothes, shoes, belts and other fashion accessories under one roof. Each floor is dedicated to one type of fashion with some floors selling men's fashion, some women's and some selling children's clothes. So you can buy clothes for the entire family here. And if you get tired of all the walking around or are feeling hungry, there is a food court here as well.

2 of my to-go places to shop since I discovered Bangkok sons ago are Platinum Fashion Mall and Chatuchak Weekend Market. I can stay in this mall for hours to comb through rows and rows of clothes. You try bargaining here but I’m usually contented when the shop owners give me wholesale price for 1 piece.
Apart from the clothes, you gotta check out their foodcourt that sells great kway chap, mango sticky rice and their pad Thai.
I’m always there whenever I’m in Bangkok.

No longer friendly except those that shop owners.
Once you speak in Chinese they will ignore you. I was during whole Xmas week chat on pricing in English but once I have my conversation with my dad in Chinese, their attitudes swing badly or almost not serving you I mention to them I’m singaporean though they got shock thought we are from prc. So discriminating on Chinese

Platinum mall was good for shopping and no doubt the stalls are reasonably priced but the the one drawback is that most of the items do not have sizes and everything is a freesize. The vendors will not allow you to try on clothes so it is difficult to judge if the items will fit or not, but the clothes never the less are good quality. Shop around as some stalls have the same items at lower prices

There is a reason why ladies can potentially spend hours and hours over here!
Out of 6 stories, 3.5 is catered to ladies, and there are 2 big section in this malls. The shops are basically clustered together and just imagine if a lady spends 10 mins on a stall they can basically spend the entire time over there!
Level 4 is meant for men, level 5 is meant for kids and level 6 is the food court.
As a guy, to be honest, there is nothing much to see and I will rather just head out to the Pratunam area to get my food fix, and I will continue walking to other shopping malls to get a place to chill out and relax.
But if you are coming with your girlfriends or partner, maybe just leave them at the mall, and set a time to meet them (The Macdonalds at Platinum mall is a popular meetup point- LOL)

Platinum Fashion mall is a fashion shopping mall mainly for women, set up similar to MBK center but more crowded, clothing for women are 95% of the mall, men fashion is just at a little corner on level 3, not much fun for men there. Prices are reasonable, bargaining is a must, clothing quality is OK for what you paid. Pls pay attention to the size of item you wish to buy because no fitting room and no return or exchange after purchased.
Upper Floor(Level 6) is a large food court, fully A/C with heaps of stall selling yummy foods, price are cheap, it's the place to chill out after wandering and get lost inside the mall.
The mall divides by 3 zones, Novotel Hotel connects to one of its zone. 50 meters in the front of Novotel Hotel, there's a skywalk link to Big C Rajadamri, Central World, Siam etc...
The Platinum mall is in the same area with other malls in Pratunam as Pantip Plaza, Pratunam market, Indra Square etc..
Good place for doing some shopping and visit during our time in Bangkok

If you want to get clothes at a bargain, you will like this place. I you like several floors of shopping, this is the place, if you like to eat relative cheap food after extensive shopping, this is the place.
I personally didn't like the shopping here because I found the quality of the clothes to my liking, but my teen-agers liked the place. Their pocket money went a long way in terms of shopping. We experienced really good shop owners/keepers and we found 1 who tried to cheat us.
My wife liked a blouse on display. When we asked for sizing we were told "one size fits all" and fitting not allowed - fair. We asked if we could get a "blue one" like the one on display. The shop owner/keeper went through new stocks, picked a blue one and hurriedly put it in a plastic bag and asked for payment. When we asked if we could see the blouse, she begrudgingly agreed. After looking at the new blouse, we noticed that it was a different shade of blue, which was okay. What was not okay was the way the blouse "fell/flowed" It was a totally different one from the one on display (the one on display was of a better quality) When we asked if we could get the one on display, she said that it was not possible. At the end of the day it was an attempt to sell us something that was totally different. Of course the sale did not go through.
You can get good buys here, just make sure you cover all the bases so that you are not cheated. Oh and yes, don't forget to haggle. Enjoy!

According to my experience, most of the vendors had card machines with them. However, if you don't have cash, there are ATMs and currency exchange booths all over the mall. Hope it helps :)

For buying clothes (Shorts, T-Shirts, Kids Clothes) is Platinum mall better than MBK? If we have limited time and are travelling with a kid, which one is better option between MBK and Platinum mall?

Platinum has a whole floor on kids clothes and prices are so reasonable ! So definitely Platinum mall - I buy so much from the kids section. MBK is more fake designer stuff.

Does anyone can tell me if there's a good plato yo buy night dress or gown in Platinum fashion mall, and maybe approx fair price? Do they take card?

There are sooo many places to buy gown, im talking about glitter fancy dresses for a good price (could be around 50 to 100 euro, or more) but you get an unique dress for the price. Its better to go with cash and dont forget to discuss the price ;) Furthermore: the gowns and dresses were beautiful but mostly small sizes tho.
how much food price average on food court platinum fashion
JoeCool_KL

So many choices of food at the food court. Depends what you order. It’s around Baht100 to Baht200 for a normal meal of noodles or rice and meat and drink. The tom yum noodles and papaya salad are nice and so is the mango and sticky rice dessert.
I need cufflinks.. can i get here and look the pictures of design..
