An amazing trip out together by Stephen at My Way Travel! This was our second trip ( went to Vietnam and Cambodia 2019). Stephen is great to work with- very flexible and listens to what we wanted to do. This trip was originally scheduled for April 2020. A honest company that asked if I wanted my deposit back and I said no - that I would use it in a future trip! How many companies around the world did this????
We had great guides In Bangkok and Chiang Rai and Chiang Rai. Fon was full of energy and fun in Bangkok. Ann was one of the best guides I have ever had- she took us to a couple of places not noted on the tour. We went for a hike at a waterfall and visited the cave where the Thai boys were rescued in the cave. Both Ann and Fon gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants. I would absolutely recommend Stephen and My Way Travel! We plan to use him again in planning Bali!

Thank you for helping put together our truly "Amazing Thailand" trip. It went absolutely smoothly from the moment we set foot in Bangkok to the day we left Hong Kong. To a person, the guides were friendly and courteous. I can attest to your professional handling as well as personalization of the trip to provide a wonderful experience. Again, thank you!

Kevil helped us get our visas and hotels for my family in HCMC & Halong bay. The attended to us and answered all our questions as regarded everything we needed to know about the trip. We arrived Saigon to take our Cycle tour & Ginger Cruise, which is the best ship in Halong Bay. It was really better than what we hoped for. I’d strongly recommend Kevil & teams to anyone, I’m sure you won’t have any regrets of using them.

The tour was overall interesting but there are some things I didn't enjoy and was expecting a bit more depth for a tour you pay over $30 for (remember you are in Thailand not London).

Pros: close encounters with street vendors with chance to ask for more info and take photos, food sampling, friendly guide.

What I would change: price (I think it is just overpriced); tour length (by the time you get to 11 am for the pad Thai snack it's so hot (remember again: you are in Thailand not London) that you cannot take it anymore -- I would end the tour there); all the walking in the markets after the pad Thai stop that sell Chinese junk (it's crowded, it's uninteresting); the actual tour speech (more background info would be useful when you start the tour, as soon as you get to the next stop, as well as connecting info on where you are going next -- I worked as a tour guide myself for a few years -- otherwise it just comes across as shallow and potentially lazy).

So it's a great concept but with room for improvement. I wouldn't recommend the tour if you are Chinese or of Chinese descent because probably you'll be familiar with 90% of the things you'll see.

Noi, our energetic and informative guide picked us up at our hotel and helped us to negotiate the complex Bangkok rail system to the start of the walking tour. The tour was the 'Dragons Belly', which was through Chinatown and the old Indian section of Bangkok. We visited a number of temples and heard the story of their history, including the'prostitutes temple' that was funded from the earnings of a very successful brothel which we visited at a later point in the tour but no longer operating. This tour is for those who want to see more than the usual tourist attractions. Walk down many small side alleys, visit some markets, sample some chrysanthemum juice or eat at a busy market cafe and eat some delicious Thai noodle soup. Noi was a great guide and we thoroughly recommend the private tour, well worth the money.

BWA is the perfect option if you want to know the "real" Bangkok and Thailand's history & culture. You get the opportunity to visit unique places and truly learn from the guides, who really give you a broad perspective of Siam. Les, the owner, is always available to answer any question and create a totally unique experience. Noi and Mae, our guides, made this day tour an unforgettable experience. Don't hesitate to contact them, if you want to have a profound and "local" view of this amazing city.

What can I say, this tour is awesome (I did the 3 hour tour)!! Noom (the guide) is a genuinely nice guy and will make your time with him unforgettable. We cycled through the back roads of Bangkok and eventually arrived at the canal side shops, where we watched a traditional Thai puppet show and enjoyed a nice drink while we were at it. We also stopped at and cycled through several beautiful temples. This was my first time in Bangkok (I stayed for 3 days) and I highly recommend this tour; it's well worth your time.

Absolute Explorer allows you to see Thai culture at its very best. The professional tour staff puts special emphasis on ensuring your comfort, safety, and enjoyment. During our half-day tour, we went to a local market, rode the train to the countryside, biked around rice fields, met locals, ate a great lunch at the village headman’s house, and learned a ton about local/Thai culture.

Frankly, the Bangkok touts for 40 baht tuk-tuk tours with stops at scam gem factories and “closed” tourist attractions (of course all lies); had us wondering if there was more to the country than scams and sex. AE proved there is MUCH more!

This half-day was inspirational and I would recommend it to leisure and business travelers alike. Don’t be afraid, talk to the locals, play with the kids, these are real Thais and haven’t been contaminated by the chaotic culture of Bangkok. Please contact me directly if you have questions about our experience.

Every element of this walking tour is well organised. It is easy to book online and Les, the owner is very quick to confirm and answer any questions you may have.

We did the Dragon's Belly tour. There were 6 of us on the tour in total. They will take up to 12 on one tour. We felt that 6 was a good number, especially in the crowed streets and alleys of Chinatown. Although it is not a food tour, we saw plenty and had herbal tea, chinese "chewing gum" and pad thai, all of which were delicious. We visited temples, markets and the oldest department store in Bangkok which still looks like it did all those years ago. Noi, our guide was very entertaining and when we finished helped us get a taxi to our next destination.

I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a different side of Bangkok.
